Are there opportunities for low income families?

Hi. Thank you for contacting our school! We have kindergarten scholarships that are available by applying on the NV Dept. of Education website. Unfortunately, our school is currently full. We do have waiting lists for the current school year and…

Finding St. Gabriel Catholic School was the best option for my last Daughter. Starting her from kindergarten till today in 6th grade, she is 2 years ahead of St. Viator students and other Clark County Schools since they teach Core Knowledge NOT Common Core like all the other schools. The education and interaction with the students is the best since the class sizes are less than 22 students to a class. Currently her 6th grade has 14 students total and she loves the school.

They were both enrolled at challenger school, for some reason i did not like it as much in there, it wasn't balance due to the fact that student were given so much work to the point that instead of my kids to love school at their age they were starting to hate it. Then i came across SGCS and spoke to Brother Jude, i was really amaze of how detailed he explained everything to me and he was very patience. So you know what we did next we enrolled our kids here. So far so good. I love the teachers and staffs here they are very professional and you can see they love to teach. One of the biggest thing i really like here is they really DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING here. Yes they do not. My son was new so of-course you would expect little bullying here and there. But as soon as i brought this to their attention it was handled very well. Who wants their kids to be bullied? Nobody right. So far still 5 star experience for us but will definitely keep updating as years goes by. Keep it guys.

Small class size enables students to receive individualize attention. It is amazing to watch my little ones growing into confident, kind and curious learners. This is a Christian school, so they do have a Bible study class and chapel day. They do not impose any religion upon the students. School focuses on values, character development, academics and personal growth. My children are now in elementary and starting middle school grades. Our experience has been wonderful. I highly recommend this school.

I had one Bible class where the teacher spent a full 20 minutes ranting about how gay people are an abomination, and some of the teachers are very heavily involved in student gossip. Their health class? A bunch of poorly copied pdf files of a text book with anything to do with genitalia being scribbled out because "it's not of God." And if they find out your child is transferring to a new school? They try to scare them into staying, telling them that anywhere else they'll get beat up, made fun of, and ignored. I left after my junior year, and they didn't prepare me at all for college. I felt blindsided. Leaving was the most refreshing experience of my life. Everyone I talk to that I knew from the school still harbors heavy resentment toward this place. Save your money.

Some people say that the original apostles did not recite stories. Fact was they were mostly madmen. Yet they were worthy as disciples. At one time, most people never questioned the word of God. People said they went to temples to connect with god. But everyone will tell you that nothing feels more like the presence of god than a furious storm. Since everyone seemed to fear their god. I suppose it was natural for them to run from any storm. I imagine anyone who truly feels the love of their divine creator. Has the most questions. Especially when it often feels like god is constantly testing with life challenges. That kind of love, from a woman can drive a man wild. I imagine God's love, can send a man on insanely journeys. Some guy shot an arrow to get his attention. And I suppose other men have walked right into the beast of all storms. A leap of faith indeed. A madness that demands god to confront him. Either by peace of mind. Or death. Probably how "Give me liberty or give me death" originated. Unfortunately that kind of story is very difficult to validate. But I heard that a girl once witnessed a dead madman who walked in his own death. And even returned to tell her the entire story. I believe she goes by the name Grace.

The campus is a perfect size for a smaller class size school experience. Many things to play with at recess! The buildings are quaint and unique carrying the essence of Boulder City to the students each day. The chapel is very intimate and inviting. A wonderful introduction to a Christian chapel. I have volunteered here to help get ready for the church sale. The teachers and staff are so supportive and nurturing! It is my pleasure to share some of my extra time to help this wonderful organization.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this school. It truly feels like a family, and even…read morethough my daughter is only 2, it absolutely feels like she is going to school and not just daycare. They have been such a huge part of her growth and development. They helped potty train her, keep her on a consistent routine and schedule, and communicate with me regularly about what they're working on and what I can work on at home. If we're struggling with something at home, I can tell them about it and they'll reinforce the same thing at school. Having that consistency between home and school has been SO helpful. The Administrative Director/Owner, Tammy, also teaches Parenting Made Fun classes, which I attend, and I love that they support the parents just as much as they support the kids. And then there's Pandy, their panda mascot! For some reason, Pandy can tell my daughter something and it gets through to her in a way that Mom sometimes just can't. "Your mommy told me you hit someone. That's not nice. We use gentle hands!" And somehow... she listens to Pandy! She also enjoys when Pandy reads stories to the class. One of the things I appreciate most is that they genuinely listen to me as a parent. My daughter has her own little quirks and personality, and when I've had concerns or felt like something might need to be approached differently, I've always felt heard and supported. They communicate, take my concerns seriously, and actually work with me to find solutions. I never feel like I'm being difficult or judged for bringing something up. I feel like we're truly on the same team. And honestly, I feel like the teachers genuinely care about me, too. They've been there for me during some difficult moments, checked in on me, and shown me kindness and support that goes beyond simply being my daughter's teachers. That means more than they probably realize. The school itself is also incredibly clean. They have a whole system for washing and sanitizing toys, and you can tell cleanliness and safety are taken seriously. At the end of the day, I just feel like my daughter is genuinely known and cared for there. They aren't just watching her while I'm at work, they are teaching her, helping her learn boundaries, encouraging her independence, and working alongside me to help her grow. And as a mom, knowing that the people caring for my child genuinely care about our whole little family is priceless. I'm so thankful we found this school. I truly feel like we're all on the same team, and I couldn't ask for a better village for my daughter.

I love knowing that, since I cannot be with her all the time, someone is caring for her in my absence the way they would care for their own child. I highly recommend to parents searching for childcare in the area.
