I don't know who these reviewers are. Maybe they are just trying to get yelp points or ratings, but I doubt there reviews are trustworthy or even real especially the lady from Texas who describes their food unlike how I know from ordering myself, it is even made (egg rolls breading??) I live in Vancouver and I have been ordering take out from Green Tea Kitchen at least twice a month for many years. At least 7, and tho I wont say the order is perfect every time that would be embellishing.. (little things forgotten- like they forgot the sesame seeds) the food has NEVER been sub-par or bad. Perhaps maybe people are confusing it with The Tender Green in Orchards which is ghastly but not Green Tea Kitchen who is owned and operated by different people. It is true the outside is unbecoming, but they aren't a restaurant. They are a delivery place and the kitchen is clean, and from what everyone knows passing inspection perfectly. (look online) These are nice people who provide good food, in a fast and timely manner. Please try it for yourself. This food is the worst I have ever had. My whole family felt like we were dining on an old rawhide mining boot. The chicken was as dry as double smoked sawdust, smelled like wet dog tits, and had the texture of a striated planters wart. Basically, if you were to take a pile of whale turds strap them to a stick to use it to mop up an ox's kikkoman CUMM chow mien you'd have the flavor pretty dialed in. Great place! Never been to the restaurant but was thrilled to find a delivery place that offered something other then pizza. We ordered the 7 ingredient low mein, fried rice and sweet and sour pork. All were great. Had it delivered twice now and can't believe how fast. Less than 20 minutes for sure. We are a family of 5 with 3 very hungry kids and there is always leftovers.
