a cup of ice cream with a cone sticking out of it

Beautiful day sitting outside Green Shutters listening to a wonderful live band! The outside has benches and picnic tables and lots of trees and shade. Not a large menu, but it has all the basics, hamburger , cheeseburger, hot dog, chicken sandwich, tenders, salads and 3 sides.... fries, onion rings and fried mozzarella. They had two specials.... sausage peppers and onions and philly cheese steak. We ordered inside and they brought it outside to our tables. Everyone enjoyed their choices. My hamburger was fresh and cooked well....lettuce, tomato and pickles finished the perfect flavor profile. The fries were thin, hot and crispy. The onion rings were a standout, with a beautiful crunch maybe from cornmeal in the batter. They have several sauces for dipping. The ice cream treats were prepared beautifully and were delicious. My root beer float hit the spot, milkshakes were creamy and rich, the sundaes were packed full. Service was amazing. Everyone was smiling and friendly and helpful. Everyone, including the owner Seb, worked so hard to make sure we were happy with the food and everything else. Just a note....their credit card machine does not have a place to leave a tip(I was surprised) but I left them cash as they worked so hard and deserved it. .

1st time at Seb's Green Shutters and it was a very pleasant experience other than they have a bunch of young people running the business that mess up your order and have an attitude when politely asked to get the right order. I ordered the buffalo tenders and they gave me one of the buffalo sandwiches, which I would've kept but it had blue cheese on it and I don't like blue cheese. In addition to messing up with my tender order, they gave me a shake that didn't taste anything like the shake I ordered and replaced. Mind you when asked to replace the burger with tenders the employee checked for price difference and had the intention to charge me for any difference when it was THEIR mistake. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the one of the girls were apologetic. Food wise, tenders were 4 outta 5 stars but the portion could've bigger. My friend got the burger and it was okay. Food doesn't come with sides, drinks are a little pricey, overall not the place to go if you're not trying to spend $50+ for 4 people and get kiddie portions.

Great people. Give them a break. Glad to see this icon of a restaurant reinvent itself!

Food is terrible and the service is terrible. Wouldn't eat here if it was free to be quite honest no wonder why the property is in limbo.

What I did know is that I preferred not to dine at a chain restaurant. Low and behold, I took a right turn and ended up Mattie Street, and to my left was a very unassuming green "house." Once I approached and read the sign, I realized it was a restaurant. The welcome sign stating that this was a farm to table establishment was all I needed to convince me to walk in. Upon entering Roseadah's, I instantly felt very comfortable. This eatery has a very laid-back, cozy vibe that I particularly enjoyed. My family and I were the only ones dining at the time, so I had the opportunity to truly soak in this lovely eatery. The ladies who assisted us were both so very wonderful. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who's also the amazing chef, and her personality alone won me over! Now, on to the food. Delicious, scratch made appetizers and entrees. I enjoyed every bite! Not only did we enjoy our meals while there, we also decided to order some food to take home for dinner. My personal favorite was their duck bacon wontons, so good! We also drooled over their freshly breaded mozzarella sticks. (we are fried cheese fanatics). When you visit, definitely do yourself a favor and order those appetizers before your main meal. If I didn't have a reason to return to Auburn, I certainly do now.

Friendly service! Quaint place with homemade foods. We got the specials and each dish was good…read morequality.

Really nice bar and restaurant with great food and good prices…read more It's a two page menu with a nice amount of options for vegetarians, although they made my inner-Buffalonian happy when I saw Beef on Weck on the menu. I had a veggie burger and it was pretty tasty! A good meatiness - if that's what you're after. The real star was the fried cheese curds from the specials menu - salty, a hint of sweet from the light glaze on them, crunchy fried outside, and ooey gooey cheesiness. The drink prices weren't listed on the but turned out to be very reasonable. I was at Parker's with a large group and they handled us really well. We happened to be there on night with live music and the two brothers they had playing were great and part of my group kept half singing along while the rest could carry on conversation just fine. The decor is nice- old wood and gorgeous stained glass ceiling lamps that are all different. Everyone had their own favorite. The bar has a patio area that can be opened up in nice weather. Car parking is in on the street. I didn't spot any bike racks nearby but there are sign posts that could serve. It's in a very walkable downtown.

Enjoyed another evening here in what has become an annual visit. the savory steak salad…read more(Char-grilled sirloin steak cooked to liking with spring greens, roasted red peppers, feta, onion, bacon bits, Kalamata olives and choice of dressing) was huge, loaded with steak done just the way it was requested. Companion had the fried fish sandwich, even tho we weren't there on a Friday. We shared 2 desserts: the turtle cheese cake and the pbexplosion cake (layers of chocolate cake and pnut butter mousse); the cheesecake was the winner here although both were very good. Actually we each felt as if we had too much chocolate; who ever says that?!
