I was worried they'd be overly spicy, but they weren't, though I do like spicy things. So if you like spicy/flavorful they're bomb. If you like spicy for the sport of spice they won't blow your skirt up. The Biang Biang noodles were better than remembered - wide noodles with a nice chew coated in SO much garlic and enough spice at the end to keep things interesting. The waitress recommended the Dan Dan noodles as the signature noodles weren't ready yet. They were good, but I look forward to a less "safe" option next time. Not her fault, she didn't know us. It was a solid, tasty suggestion. The hot black tea was served in giant steins with loose black tea leaves steeping in the bottom. It was delightful in it's presentation and I loved that wrapping my hands around the mug warmed me on a chilly afternoon!

Seasoning is below the low sodium order. It's really blunt and subtle seasoning. The kitchen was busy and I could hear they getting more calls over and over. So they tried to cook fast. But it shouldn't be the cause and effect. I wouldn't go back there for sure.

The food was flavorless and the Szechuan dishes I ordered had no spice. What a shame. I live close enough to this place and prices are so low that I would be a frequent customer if it were at least average, but it's some of the worst Chinese food I have had in this country. I give this place another chance every few months only to be disappointed. I considered giving a second star because of the good prices, but you're better off buying (cheaper) food from the warmer at the nearby Stewart's.

I was so impressed with the crispiness of their eggrolls, and the perfect vegetable steaming. My noodles are always tasty, delicious, and not over or undercooked. I have been a frequent flyer at this establishment ever since I walked in that door. The staff (family) are very sweet, gentle people, and are very gracious and accommodating. I will be a regular at this establishment for the foreseeable future, so kudos to Yip's Garden! They're sautéd with roast pork, bits of scrambled egg and vegetables. Then, I also ordered sautéd snow pea shoots with garlic, which are seasonal and considered a bit of a delicacy. It was a great meal. Cost more than I originally intended to spend but we wound up with delicious leftovers. I took the rest of the soup home. My friend got the Singapore dish. The service was pretty good. It took a bit long for the soup to be completed so there was a slight timing problem. The restaurant's decor is very pretty. I particularly like all of the light fixtures which help make for a nice dining experience.

By the time we were full, I could feel my face starting to sweat a little. That was fun. The restaurant is clean and attractive with a remarkable amount of seating. The back portion is reserved for hot pots which I have yet to try there. The staff is friendly, helpful and bilingual. They will make suggestions if you'd like. This restaurant generally gets a bit noisy because it's where large Chinese families gather when they want to go on the town. That's a good thing. There's also a large screen tv that plays cooking shows. With so much going on, the customers seemed pretty happy.
