Best place for a massage in my opinion. Shout out to Kelly my massage therapist, she was warm, welcoming and accommodating! She made sure I was comfortable and I loved their massage oil blend. I enjoyed a 60 min massage and was able to use the amenities before and after. I do recommend going early in the day. As I was leaving the ladies hot tub area was getting pretty noisy with conversations. The facility is clean and I love the complimentary lemon water, along with the coffee and tea bar. I went to this Spa for Labor Day weekend after my sister had been suggesting we go it was a gift from my kiddos and sister for my birthday I got a horrible infection from the hot tub soak went the very next day to urgent care the PA suggested I use hot compresses and it should clear up on it's own I finally went to my primary doctor today and found out I will need antibiotics oral and cream because I got what is call hot tub folliculitis it is a very painful rash from poorly maintained tubs so be careful. Needless to say I had cleaned up the room from trash and towels that were thrown around because I couldn't relax in the mess. I had to do this several times as my sister had to ask for clean wash clothes and water. Finally to add insult to injury I was told when I was done with my massage when I asked for tea that I should know they close at 5:00. My suggestion to that is not to book a massage @ 3:34 when it is 60 minutes long how do you expect me to shower dress and get ready to go to dinner at your casino in 15 minutes. I was a little worried after reading the reviews as we got squeezed in for the last appointment of the day on a Saturday. I was afraid the apointment might be rushed but everything was as perfect as I could've asked for. Because we were in Santa Fe being touristy before the appointment we knew we would only get to enjoy our 60 min couples massage & not any of the other amenities. It was a jammed packed weekend but I did peek in at all the areas & was impressed by how clean & high end the facility was. I did get a bit of time in the outdoor relaxtion area overlooking the mountains which was an unexpected moment of zen. Our techs were super nice especially considering it was our first time back at a spa since before covid. As a first timer, I was excited to get a 90 minute deep tissue massage after a very stressful week. Unfortunately I left more stressed than when I came in. Facility 10/10: parking is accessible and separate of the hotel and casino. There is a front desk for signing in. There is a gender separate area for bathrooms/showers/ wet and dry sauna/hot tub and cold tub. Lots of beverage options (free bottled water, hot water for tea, and cold water infused with lemon; and alcoholic beverage options). There is a fitness center and a waiting area that is co-ed. Also, a separate relaxation area (one indoor and one outdoor with four chaise lounges in each section). Customer service: 0/5 You'll be greeted by a staff person that will proceed to give you a very quick tour of the amenities and requirements. They'll provide you a robe and sandals. The customer service is what robbed me of my positive experience. My appointment was set to begin at 5:30 pm and end at closing time (7 pm). 10 minutes before my massage was set to end, music was turned off. 5 minutes before closing, bright fluorescent lighting turns on and brightens my treatment room while I am still receiving my massage face up. What a beautiful way to end a 90 minute massage (not!). My masseuse was not thorough and abruptly ended my session. She managed to get me out the door as fast as she could. When I was walking back to the locker area, another staff person stops me to say, " just a reminder, we closed at 7." I ask if I may shower? She rolls her eyes and begrudgingly says OK. I shower, go to restroom and when I open bathroom stall door, I find the same staff person and her manager walking away from the bathroom stall area. I can only assume they were trying to look for me. As I sat down to dress, the same staff person swiftly removes the borrowed sandals from my area as I literally took them off my feet. Manager hands me my eyeglasses I left behind near showers because I was rushing. Lights start to turn off. I wasn't given the opportunity to blow dry my hair or even get dressed in peace. I was literally kicked out the door. I was angry, disappointed and disgusted by the persons managing this spa. If they have a policy for their staff to be out the door immediately at 7, they should not schedule 5:30 pm appointments that are expected to last 90 minutes. Start at 5 instead. Give your customers time to wake up from the massage, and to shower and dress in peace. I managed to get out the door and pay by 7:15. I will NEVER again visit this spa nor recommend it to anyone. I will take my business back to Betty's Bath Day and spa where you are treated humanely and can actually walk out feeling better than when you arrived. read more

TIP ALERT!!! You do not have to go to the casino, or purchase spa services, or be a hotel guest to use this spa. You can purchase a day pass for access, which is a great deal! So a few details: 1. There is a co-ed communal relaxation area. Most people use this area when waiting for their paid spa treatments to begin. I used it to sit on the patio and decline in the comfortable chairs viewing the mountains to start and again at the end after I finished my self-care. You can use your phone, but no pictures allowed, sorry guys. 2. There is a Women's communal area where I completed my w of care. Phones are not even allowed to be out, as it is clothing optional. You are provided a locker which includes a robe (must be worn in co-ed area), towels, shower cap and razor. 3. During my self care, I spent 15 minutes in the hot tub (which you can activate by turning the knob on the wall) with the provided cool cucumbers over my eyes. 10 minutes in the cold lunge pool. 15 minutes in the steam room (which automatically comes on every 15-20 minutes). The attendant sprayed complimentary eucalyptus for my experience. 10 minutes in the cold pool. 15 minutes in the sauna (which you can activate by turning the knob on the wall. Finally shower areas with body wash are provided, as well as, Secret deodorant, blow dryers and disposable brushes. The staff are friendly and an overall amazing experience. So I am visiting from California to celebrate my sister's wedding....so naturally we decide to hit the spa. Apparently this is one of the better spa's in the area...so we make our trek here. We didn't make appointments beforehand so we weren't upset they only had 1 manicure appt within the time frame we were going to be there. No biggie, we decided we would only use their facilities inside. The staff was very courteous and accommodating...nothing special...just general demeanor you find from spa personnel. We hit the "hot pool" which is TINY...and the seats were too darn deep! Which meant I had to drown myself in order to sit! LOL!!! After, we decided to relax in the dry sauna, but on the way there we encounter a huge ass COCKROACH!!!!! I'M SERIOUS!!!!! The insect was swiftly dealt with, but come on! About a week ago, I attend the Green Reed Spa for the first time. I went in without knowing what to expect and I come out from my services feeling extremely happy. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. My hair stylists Melanie(whom I highly recommend) knew what I want and she definitely delivered what I had invision. The prices are very reasonable for hair services compare to other salons that I received consultantions with prior to visiting them. Their spa packages can get pricy but what they offer looks pretty amazing. Going back for eyebrow services next and I cannot wait. I am extremely disappointed and and angry! I booked a massage for my boyfriend and I nearly 2 months ago. My parents gifted me an hour and a half massage including tip for my 40th birthday. I received a confirmation call yesterday and promptly confirmed. Today I received a call that my boyfriend's appointment was going to be canceled because his therapist had a family emergency. Things happen, but nothing was offered other than a 30% discount on a day where it was going to be 20% off anyway. I was promised that I would receive a phone call before end of business hours for some sort of resolution. It is now 8:57 and according to their website they closed at 7pm. I have now left a voicemail for sandia casino general manager and for the green reed spa. Our new year's eve plans have been ruined and no one has reached out!!! I am so angry. They didn't even bother to call back at end of business today as promised by the assistant manager. This is completely unacceptable. Update to my review. Heard back from Michelle the manager this morning. What an even worse experience. She was argumentative and would not let me talk. Said she called in another therapist to do our appointment, but wasn't sure if she would allow us to come in if my boyfriend did not remove his review on Facebook. His review only stated what had occurred and that he was dissatisfied. It was not scathing or rude on any level. We actually didn't want to after all that happened yesterday, but she didn't give me the opportunity to say anything. I asked to speak to the person above her. She said he wasn't available, so I told her to have him call me. She said I can call him myself and hung up on me. I had the call on speaker and his kids could hear her almost yelling at me from their rooms. They even said, wow, that lady was super rude to u and wouldn't let you talk. I called the resort and Lam the resort and spa general manager reached back out to me. What a day and night difference of handling this situation. Lam was kind and understood why we were upset. He tried everything in his power to right the wrong. I had initially wanted a refund, but I am keeping my giftcard to use for something other than spa amenities. My boyfriend and I are both not comfortable going to the spa after the way I was spoken to by Michelle. Thank you so much for making this better Lam. Came here for a couple massage with my hubby. We booked the 60 minutes deep tissues massage. They asked us to get there 15 minutes early. When we got there, the hostess took us in a waiting lounge area, where they offered coffee, tea and fruits. They waiting lounge environment was nice and peaceful. After we finished our cup of coffee our masseuses took us into our private room with a private shower in it. Both our masseuses Amanda and Cecelia were great. I would recommend anyone who need a deep tissues massage to request them. They really have strong hands. After our massage we get to enjoy hot tub, steam room and sauna inside our designated locker room. Overall, very nice experience but minus one star for the price. Very expensive! read more

I was really impressed with the facility and their staff. My husband and I enjoyed a 60 minute couples massage. The massage room had a window looking at the Sandia Mountain, I loved that. I was disappointed in the fact that he and I were not able to enjoy a hot tub together, we could have paid an extra $100 for 30 minutes in a private one, but that is expensive. The prices are high, the amenities and service you receive are great. I really enjoyed the wet and dry sauna's. They automatically add 20% gratuity to your final bill as well. First and foremost, I would like to thank my massage therapist Sharayah Burden for the best massage experience I have ever had. I have had wonderful massages all around the United States from many luxurious spas (Hotel Andaz, 4 Seasons, 10000 waves etc) and her massage was hands down the best. It was as if she knew exactly what I wanted before I even had a chance to mention it. So I would highly recommend her as a therapist if you get the opportunity. That all being said the spa itself stacks up with the best of them as the dry sauna, tubs, and relaxation areas were nothing to disappoint. Very patient staff and friendly staff!!! WOW!! Since I live in ABQ I didn't even know this place existed until I received a gift card to visit. I called early on a Sunday morning to try and get in that afternoon. I was able to make the appointment at the time I wanted with no issues. I received the 60 minute message- which was wonderful. I then did an eyebrow and enjoyed the fact that they use soy based wax to minimize irritation. I highly recommend this spa for not only visitors but locals as well! read more
