Made an appointment for two of us at 3PM today. I was in and the massage was in within minutes. $60 for an hour deep tissue massage. It's so well worth it too. Ting gave me my massage, deep tissue. Used her knuckles, knee, elbows and thumbs. Ting leaves you for seconds and a minute to get the washcloths and the hot stone. I do like that they use a wash towel to clean off the excess oils after massaging your arms, legs, neck and back. The hot stone was hot, used for part of the massage as well. One stone was placed on my lower back after massaging with it some and allowing it to cool some. Ting also used her knees and calves as she climbed on me, asking if it was okay first. I do feel like I got a true deep tissue. My shoulders and neck feel less tense. I felt so relaxed afterwards. A deep tissue is the only way to feel relaxed from a massage for me. I was in an out in just over an hour. Ting made small talk but didn't talk to me throughout to allow me to relax. I already want another massage for tomorrow. read more

Awesome, deep massage in Albuquerque! This will definitely be a place I frequent going forward. Being relatively new to ABQ, I didn't really know where I could find good, deep massages that won't break the bank given the limited budget/play money I have :). At one point and after massage hiatus, I gave in decided to check out Ting's massage because my back/shoulders were bothering me from the unintentional stress I put on my body (likely due to a combination of stress and poor body posture). The staff there was friendly and the place was clean. I went for the 90 min massage and felt quite refresh coming out of it. Celia did ask me the depth of the massage that I preferred..and I told her deep...because I'm not the one who goes for wooshy washy massages :) Celia did deliver. The pressure was strong throughout the session. She also did discover a huge knot from stress that I carried on my upper right back and really worked on it. As expected from trying to rid a huge knot, it was painful..but I sucked it up and felt it was definitely worth it after the session! Bonus was..they also did do a foot soak, hot stone and hot towels on you, too..so that was a nice touch at a more than very reasonable price you pay ($80 for 90 min of deep massage!!). I've been receiving Ting's wellness massages for almost two years now. Though I don't check-in on my app, I'm attaching pictures of my frequent visit punch card here. Ting loves to keep her place clean and quiet. Her years of experience working in a busy hospital in China gave her understanding of human bodies and skill set to help alleviate pain, stiffness, etc. I see her as someone who might be equivalent to a P.A. in an orthopedics clinic with a massage therapist's training. There is a slight curvature in my thoracolumbar area which causes muscle stiffness on the left back. The left leg would appear to be shorter than the right due to unlevel pelvis. This is one of the main things Ting helps me to therapeutically correct regularly. The hot stones included in her massages are nice surprises. Getting massages on a regular basis is part of my personal wellness plan for the past 12+ years. I have been to several therapists in town. Once I find someone whose skills fit my needs, I am consistently loyal until the therapist becomes hard to schedule or takes a different career/life path. Had a wonderful 90 min massage with hot stones and aromatherapy which was $110 not including tip. I find that very reasonable. The staff was very welcoming and professional and my masseuse was kind and thoughtful in her questions to understand how to best help me. She made sure to focus on parts I asked for, as well as providing a full body massage that left me feeling very relaxed. I've been going to Ting's for a few years, and I'd always seen Annie. She's pretty good. On New Year's Eve, I decided to start the New Year out with a relaxing massage, because I was a little tense. I went after work on NYE, but had to book with Ting, because Annie was on vacation. I booked a Swedish massage for an hour and a half. She was distracted, and at one point, jerked my arm up sharply, and there was a snap. I winced, but thought maybe it was just my shoulder popping. When she was done, I was feeling a sharp pain and asked her if I should use ice, or warmth. She said both would be fine. I went home and the pain got worse and worse. I rang in the New Year, laid up in the couch with ice packs on my shoulder. I couldn't sleep, the pain was so bad and ibuprofen barely touched it. At 5 am I emailed her and told her I was in horrible pain. She wrote back and apologized and admitted she'd felt a big pop in my shoulder, but it was "normal". By mid morning, New Year's Day, I couldn't take it anymore and went to the ER. They did an MRI and determined that I now had a torn rotator cuff. I let Ting know, and requested she pay my copay of $250 for the ER. She refused and backtracked, saying there was no way it was her and brushed it off. I was on strong pain pills for a few days, now I have to go see an orthopedic surgeon and meet with a physical therapist. I went to Ting's because of the cheap rates, but learned my lesson. If I had not been cheap and had gone to a better place, I would have ended up saving Thousands of dollars. read more

My mom was the one who had heard of this place. You can book online through facebook for during the week (we had to call for an appointment on a Sunday). The place wasn't busy at all- $35 for 30 minutes (but they probably gave us a little longer). The walls are a little thin if there's multiple sessions going on at once. He was able to find all the sore spots in my back and shoulders and used hot stones on me. I was even sore the next day, so you know he did a good job. I feel more relaxed now and it was a great way to start off my vacation, but I feel I would need another session to finish off these tired muscles. My mom showed them her sore sciatic spot, which turned into more of a chiropractic session than a massage and painful after the years of strain put on her muscle, so she didn't have as relaxing of a time. Most massage places always mention to drink plenty of water afterwards and there was a bowl of candy and snacks that you could grab (though the dude that came in afterwards for a detox took the last Almond Joy). 2021 #54 read more

Absolutely 12/10 experience! One of the best massages I have gotten in a LONG time. I went with my friend and we got the 90 minute massage (only $90!) and it was truly outstanding. It includes the neck/back, arms, legs, feet, and hot stones. I usually choose a fancy hotel spa or similar but there is truly no need when Ting's exists - I only wish I lived in Albuquerque so I could go more often!
