So, this experience overall was quite uncomfortable. I know it's a gamble finding a professional/quality massage establishment that accepts walk-ins. I have a regular place I go to, but it was a Sunday morning. My regular was closed and I was hurting. I decided on Chinese Massage because it was relatively nearby and had okay reviews (or any reviews, for that matter). Though they accommodate walk-ins, you can book online (however from other reviews, it appears they don't track their online booking system well). I booked an appointment 15 minutes out, just in case, and headed over there. It's located in a strip mall off of Eubank, just north of Constitution. Upon entering, no one was upfront, but someone came to greet me. The language barrier was quite significant and she didn't seem to understand when I said I'd booked online. She understood I was looking for a one-hour massage, so she directed me toward the back into a room with a floor lamp that had a disconcerting red light bulb, security camera monitors glaring down over the massage table and curtains along the back wall that covered what appeared to be something like rice paper wall/room divider. She then told me that I had to pay before the service, which I have never been asked to do at a massage business. I was uncomfortable doing so (especially since I typically use cash when dealing with smaller massage businesses, because I've had a few experiences where they "highly encourage" you to NOT use your credit card, so they can avoid merchant fees....and that conversation is also uncomfortable). That said, Chinese Massage does offer the option to pay with credit card. As for the massage, all I had to cover myself was a bath towel. The massage, for the most part, was lackluster. It was mostly rubbing oil along my contours, but no actual muscle manipulation. My massage therapist also left at least twice to go answer the front door. She did a decent job when it came to my hands, feet, and scalp. Afterwards, I was offered a bottle of cold water. Finally, the cost was $60 for the hour. While relatively inexpensive as far as many massage spa/facilities are concerned, I don't feel like I got $60 worth of relaxation. read more

Hands down the worst couples massage ever! To start, my husband's massage started 10 minutes late but mine started almost a half hour late! Why? The "massage therapist" was not there! Even though we had appointments, they forgot about them!! The woman doing my husband's massage thought she could appease me with hot stones while I was waiting for the other therapist to arrive, but what that actually entailed was her putting a towel on my back and dropping (not placing) the large stones on my spine! Now my massage.... I have serious doubts that this man is even a licensed massage therapist! My massage consisted of nothing more than him putting oil on me and rubbing it on my skin! There was no manipulating muscles, no deep tissue, no pressure points-- in fact, at one point he took the stone and rubbed it directly on my ankle bone! He clearly had no idea what he was doing at all!!! This was a Groupon, and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, but I can honestly say that we did not even get that! I am appalled at just how terrible the service and treatment was! I would NEVER encourage anyone to go here! I would give them no stars if possible! We will never go back here again! read more

This was everything I could have hoped for!. 2 weeks ago I got a massage in California and the lady was awful.. I was sooo disappointed because it was over $100... So for me to spend an additional $100 I was really hoping for the best. The lady who massaged me went above and beyond!. I felt So relaxed and comfortable.. I read on the reviews how somebody didn't like the security display screen in the room, but I think it's awesome for the business owner to be aware who is coming in and out of her building while I am in there cloth-less... haha the music was relaxing and she used the full 90 mins. I'm truly disappointed to have to leave a bad review, however, my experience was less than ideal. I have no doubt that I would have enjoyed it if they had honored my appointment, unfortunately, I didn't even get a massage. Here's what happened. I called on a Friday to see if there was any availability for myself and a friend. The woman who answered didn't speak great English but we were able to agree that she had time at 2pm the following day for the two of us. I completely understand this. You can't always expect a place to have openings exactly when you want. Given the great reviews, I was very excited and I really needed a massage! So, my friend and I drove 30 minutes across town the next day for our 2pm appointment and when we arrived, the woman said she couldn't accommodate us. This place would have rated five stars if they had a receptionist. The masseuse I had stopped about five times to get the door so it made the experience a little less relaxing than I had hoped. However, the ladies were very kind and my masseuse was GREAT! You have to let them know how much pressure you would like because I believe the standard is deep tissue...which I love. :) read more

I give this place a 5 star because of their price and the quality of their massage. I have had neck pain and a sore deltoid for months. Anping the owner gave me the best 90 minute massage that took care of the pain the very next day. Anping has strong hands and worked on the pressure points and addressed the tensed areas that I pointed out all 90 minutes. Her rate is only $50/hour.
