Even though we were in town for just a few days, I contemplated going back again before the end of our trip. Coming to the "quirks". Scheduling and the phone conversation was not particularly clear. Their open times, the different types of massages they offer, the price of the massage. During the start and the course of the massage, it was also unclear what was expected in terms of clothing since we chose a foot reflexology which also included some body massage. Typically this is a clothes on massage at other places and it seemed to be the same case here based on the initial conversation. But later we were told you need to undress for the full benefit of the massage, i.e. it was no longer optional. Which, after the massage, was clear why but it wasn't what I was told/expecting going in. There was a little "tucking/folding" of the under garments to massage your lower back but without warning, lol. Again, the after effect of the massage was great so I'd suggest keeping an open mind if you decide to come here! Overall, I would return because now I know the quality of the massage and what to expect!

I made the drive from Fresno and my body wasn't happy with me. A quick Yelp search for massages near me and I found this place. I'm always a bit skeptical of massage places on Yelp when they don't list services or prices. But I chose this place because it was one of the few places that listed their services and prices. Don't be intimidated by it's hole in the wall appearance. If you can muster your courage, you'll be treated to a gem of an experience The massage was great!! Hannah worked out all my knots!! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! A great massage at value prices. I got an hour long, full body massage (Swedish) for under 60$. What?!?! They accept walk-ins but I made an appointment just in case covid capacity had to be considered. I don't know if they require masks, but I wore one even though I'm vaccinated. I figure if staff are still wearing theirs, I might as well wear mine and be mindful of their cautiousness. Just be aware that their business hours may now reflect 10am-8pm. I tried to book an 8pm appointment because Yelp said their hours were 10am-10pm. But still 12/10 experience!! Ask for Hannah

I picked HYH because they had easy scheduling online..and the other places I checked out online either didn't seem to have easy appointment making process or just were not open/didn't have last minute availability! I ended up booking my 90 minute full body massage appointment at night that day after I was done with everything! I was so glad I chose HYH. I arrived 30 minute earlier because I wasn't sre about where the place or what the parking situation was. But...there was nothing to worry about at all! Safe parking area, etc! Once I stepped into a place, a staff greeted me with water. I waited a bit and once I was there, I already felt a little relief from the peacefulness there. I had a male massage therapist and he was good! He did check in with me quite a bit on how I was doing and what I preferred. Honestly, with all the hot towels, warm pillows, hot stones, and all the massages all over, I felt on cloud 9. The prices were extremely reasonable that I felt so glad I chose to treat myself well that day! I definitely will be back at this place given all the right experiences about this place and the fact that they seemed more flexible with hours and open early/late, too!

I also love that you can customize your massage with a different scented (or unscented if you choose to) oil as well. For me, I picked therapist's choice because I was so indecisive..so I let Kristy picked for me. She combined rose and peppermint scent and I thought it was wonderful. I was quickly disappointed. The environment seemed old and dirty when I walked in. It also had a very strong smell in the room I was getting a massage in. It's smelled of cigarette smoke along with a strange smell almost like a pet groomery. It made me feel sick through out my whole massage. (My fault for not saying something and leaving, but I really needed a massage!) However the smell was so strong and stuck to my body that I had to shower the minute I got home. The massage from Brenda was decent. I did ask her to concentrate on my upper and lower back. I feel like she didn't focus on my lower back at all, but did a good job on my upper back/ neck. I did feel a little uncomfortable at times as some of the massaging got a little too close for comfort in some areas of my body. (Yikes!) Needless to say I don't think I will be going back.
