I have appreciated the service of Green Peat for several years. I had had a problem with ants in my house, and the traps that Green Pest provided were the only ones that proved successful in completely eliminating this problem. Also, I appreciate the safety of this product. I am not afraid to have my property sprayed even though my grandchildren visit. Carlos Hernandez was awesome today. I hired them to get rid of bedbugs. It didn't work. I spent close to $700 for nothing. I should have gotten a refund.

It is a scam!!! They hide where is says 13 month agreement. I have had more bugs since I have hired them. I have bugs I have never had before. No one else on my street has the bug problems I have. I lived in my house for 4 years. I called over carpet beetles and now I have ants, spiders, centipedes. I wouldn't even have a problem paying for 13 months of it actually got rid of the bugs but they do t they come back worst!! This is the worst pest control I have ever dealt with!! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star read more

Their products do not work. Annoying customer Service, always calling and telling you there is an outstanding balance when you paid in full. cancelled service numerous times and they continually call and harass you. noneffective chemicals and harassment is not the way to do business! read more

Tenant complained of hearing racoons in the ceiling. I was told they would be able to treat the issue. Unknown to me, they go spray the grass outside the house, dont speak to tenant about what is being seen or heard inside the house and just kept billing me. Now tenant is complaining that the racoon issue was never solved. And Green pest solutions refuses to cancel the contract. If you have me on record calling for service about racoons, how are you billing me when you did not treat the racoon issue!?This is a scam. read more

My Worst Customer Service Experience My advice to anyone considering Green Pest Solutions is simple: DON'T. I am writing this review to warn others about their business practices. They sign you up for an annual contract, which is fine, but they refuse to let you go. I started emailing them months before my contract was up to request termination at the end of the term. They simply wouldn't do it. Then, after my contract finally ended, they had the nerve to email me that they were keeping my service active on a month-to-month basis and had me on the schedule. I've lost count of the emails I sent and finally had to threaten a report to the Better Business Bureau if they contacted me one more time. And guess what, with no surprises, they called me again and left a message in my voicemail box. They did this despite the fact that my own outgoing message clearly states, "Do Not Leave me any messages." The complete disregard for a customer's wishes is astounding. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and felt predatory. You shouldn't have to fight a company to get them to stop contacting and charging you. I truly regret ever giving them my business. Other than that, They did got ride of a few water bugs, at the price of annual service contract around $700. read more

Who the heck knocks on someone's door repeatedly at 835pm trying to sell me a service?!

COLD called this service and was struck by their attention to detail and the fact that they had a man by the name of Chris at my house in less that 4hours. He was quite friendly, polite and knowledgeable. After a tour of the house and grounds he went right to work. He also explained what to expect from the company in the coming months, with follow up visits. We are very satisfied that we chose this company . read more

Comes the time for their salesman/service person to have you sign the paperwork, READ THE CONTRACT! Do not depend on the information given by the service person or you may be sadly surprised later finding yourself on a long term contract at a premium price. read more

Incredibly helpful and professional. They went the distance when it got tough, and were extremely empathetic when it became clear (after months, several treatments etc.) that I was not the source of the bedbugs. They started testing for entry points so that we could narrow down how the bugs were getting into my place, they switched technicians (just in case), switched chemicals, and even waived a few fees for me because of the nature of experience with my landlord. I felt like they had my back the entire time. The technicians were very professional and adaptable to my work schedule and my partners. Really appreciate them. read more

To be clear this review does not reflect the wonderful job the technicians perform. Every technician we've had was super nice and friendly did a nice quick job. The issue is with the administration here. Ultra aggressive sales tactics and conveniently "forget" to take notes on calls when you request to drop service. Would not recommend. read more

I contacted 5 pest control companies to remove a large wasp nest outside my house and was quoted from $879 - $150. I read the reviews for Green Pest Solutions on Yelp and was impressed, so I called to make an appointment. Jacob called me back immediately and offered to come out the same day. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, walking the perimeter of our home, where we both saw many locations with bee activity. He handled the wasp nest, explained a plan to attend to the other bees, as well as excessive spider activity and some mice issues that we were having. The next day, April arrived and attended to all of our other problems, locating and removing two more wasp nests. Like Jacob, April was incredibly professional and knowledgeable! All of our problems handled seamlessly for only $150! Both of these employees were so thorough and just plain nice! Don't bother calling anyone else to deal with your pest issues! read more

Chris Bennett came out to treat our home today and he did a great job! He took his time and was very thorough. Excellent, friendly, professional technician. I have used Green Pest Solutions for 5 years. Sam gave me more important information on how well the company was run from the owners, down to the supervisors, and technicians. The owners offer incentives for their employees to excel in their job. What employees are saying: "When an organization puts its people first, like ours does, it's obvious and creates a positive work environment." The chemicals used are safe for me (autoimmune disease) and my dogs. I hope that this company remains privately owned. This is how business should be done. Customer satisfaction is number one. Service personnel are friendly, respectful of property, prompt, and NOT grumpy and lumpy. :) Green Pest Solutions - Philadelphia Business Journal's 2023 Best Places to Work for the 5th straight year. I called this company, because we were having a stubborn ant problem that I tried to treat myself. Our home was treated by Justin G. today, and he did a great job! He arrived on time, was thorough, explained everything he'd be checking in my kitchen, basement, garage, and exterior! I explained that I didn't want to harm any honey bees and he assured me that we wouldn't. I would definitely recommend this company. Luckily, he only found evidence of tiny ants - what a relief! Thank you, Justin and Green Pest Solutions! read more

Dan showed up on time, listened to our problems and was very thorough in his treatment. We signed up for the quarterly plan, which seemed like a reasonable price. Even if it's on the higher side I think the customer service makes it worth it. read more

Beware of this company! They send fake bills and once they have access to your card they WILL PROCESS it. My bill came to 185.45, which I confirmed in writing from the company, to find later that same day they sent me a fictitious bill to my email for 304.95. They have no answer for it, transfer me back and forth, no one wants to deal with taking responsibility bc the employees know its happening. They are horrible and would have deducted my account the 304.95 had I left the card on file. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! Sad bc the man that came to my house was very nice and did a great job, its the company that is the issue not the employees who are doing the work on site. I have proof in writing of the real charge and the email the same day doubling it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

PETULANT AND CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE. Very disappointed because it is a local business. Don't know if it's because I don't live in Pennington! First treatment was re-scheduled because the technician "called out sick with a migraine". 2nd appointment (2nd time I had to board my dogs) the technician looked like he did not want to be there. I invited him in and tried to start a conversation as he was unusually sullen and silent for a consultant. (I asked if his "migraine" was better and he looked confused). I told him about my ant problem and pointed to the diatomaceous earth I had applied on my counter to originally address it. Immediately he condemned my counter for not being cleared off. He mentioned I had to clean off the diatomaceous earth as he didn't know how his solution would react with it and it was too cluttered for him to apply the treatment -- all understandable and yet I was aware of none of this preparation before the appointment. I told him about flies ("no, YOU need to control the flies"-- snide reference to my clutter) and wasps ("no we do not treat for wasps"-- website is misleading) Mind you, the "clutter" consisted of my microwave, coffeemaker, toaster oven, basket of CLEAN dishes, house plant, some dog treats in bags, and newspapers. (as opposed to exposed food) He surveyed my basement noted my card was on file and told me to "sign here". Welp, you best believe I was not going to hand over my money MONTHLY to such a rude service!! Matt, the salesman, had the audacity to leave me a voicemail saying he'd be happy to treat my house if it were "spotless"!! Yes he used that word. ** Update ** Bobby, the operations manager, did call and apologize for the technician's behavior and my experience read more

These folks are LEGIT. I found a brown bug on my pillow one night and instead of saving the bug like a rational adult, I threw my pillow and refused to look at it lol. I then convinced myself that I had bed bugs...but had the presence of mind to request some free inspections. Dennis came to my apartment, examined my pillow and mattress with a high powered flash light and told me I was good to go. He gave tips about how to recognize bed bugs and their droppings and gave me a quote just in case I ever had a problem...all for free. Like, he wouldn't even take a tip. Now that's what I call integrity! read more

It's no wonder Green Pest are rated so highly. They came in to manage a pretty bad bed bug infestation. From the moment I scheduled my treatments and throughout the process, they were incredible. Very, very friendly. The technicians were on top of everything and explained every step to me. They were ALWAYS on time, professional and respectful of me and my home. Matt Clowney was fantastic. Don't look anywhere else for your pest control problems. read more

I would not recommend this company. After the first treatment of exterior and interior I was told to give it a week or two to work. After two weeks the ants were actually worse then before they treated. Of course I called them back and they treated the outside again. Again after two weeks the ants are still swarming my deck and entering under my siding. I call another company, after one treatment there are no ants on the deck and I haven't seen one in my house since. I understand that some companies surely can be more experienced or better than others but my main problem is when I tried to cancel with green pest. It took them 2 months to acknowledge my cancelation request during which time they were threatening to send me to collections. Mind you I had already paid over $300 for two services. I was refusing to pay more because I wanted them to cancel all future appointments and cancel my policy and settle up with a reasonable amount. When she finally did cancel my contract she charged me the balance of the yearly contract and did so before explaining the cancellation policy. She left it to the fine print of their contract which apparently has nothing to protect the consumer from lack of satisfaction and regardless of the level of service you feel you received you are required to pay a year worth of treatments. Now I have paid near $1000 for two treatments that did nothing at all. For all I know they sprayed water around my foundation. Perhaps they have worked well for others but beware that their contract is written for the sole purpose of them receiving a year's worth of payments regardless of the level of service they provide. Buyer beware. read more

Called for ants they came around 6 times and never got rid of them. I had ants Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter with a house full of family. Called for possible treatment, but once identifying the bug they were transparent and said there is not extermination treatment for this type of insect. The person I spoke with on the phone (Wes) gave great advice, answered my questions, and even reviewed a photo to confirm type. If I ever need for future issues, they will be top on my list. Thank you! read more

Great customer service and they took care of my pest concerns in a timely manner!! I have not had any issues since I started with them!

No longer do I live in fear of the terrifying house centipedes (thousand-leggers) that used to appear spring through fall. After being sleepless for much of last summer because of these disgusting bugs appearing in my bedroom, I called Green Pest Solutions on the recommendation of a neighbor who used them for an ant problem. They send a nice guy in a clean uniform with a big shiny canister of .... poison, I guess? It's safe for pets and kids and the technician doesn't wear a mask, so that's good enough for me. Each technician has been very polite and professional. I got the yearly subscription (every 3 months) and it's been WELL worth it. I sleep easy now, knowing that none of these awful creatures will ever live long enough in the house to terrify me! read more
