We cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Shane and Green Line Talent! From the beginning, communication was fantastic, and they truly made us feel like we had a partner throughout the entire process. Shane was incredibly collaborative and really listened to what we wanted. He encouraged us to create Spotify playlists for inspiration and used them to curate music that felt completely reflective of us as a couple - from old-school '90s country to yacht rock during dinner. He even created a custom '80s and '90s family sitcom theme-song mashup for our family to enter the reception to, which had everyone laughing and was such a fun, personal touch. Once the dance floor opened, Shane's energy was unmatched. He was amazing on the mic, rapped, danced, interacted with our guests, and kept the dance floor going all night. He knew how to read the room while still making sure the night felt like us, and we received so many compliments about both the music and his energy. Ending the night with one of my all-time favorite '90s country songs, "Neon Moon," and then giving us an encore of "Sandstorm" at my drunken request truly made my heart so happy. Shane completely understood the assignment from beginning to end. We could not recommend DJ Shane and Green Line Talent more highly. He listened, collaborated, brought our ideas to life, and made our reception feel completely and uniquely us. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! read more

I loved working with Green Line Talent from the start. They were always super prompt and professional with their communication. We were matched with Zach Jackson and he really impressed us. We had a few calls ahead of the event to make sure we were on the same page about the logistics and vibe for each element of our wedding reception. He asked the right questions and had great attention to detail. When the day arrived, I couldn't have been happier. We had a full dance floor all night. So many of our guests approached me to compliment the music! read more

Everyone needs to hire Zach Jackson for all their musical needs!! He DJ'ed our wedding and we could not have dreamed of a better experience from start to finish!! From the moment we met, he worked hard to truly get to know us. He listened and asked great questions and all of that led to him building a solid understanding of who we are and what we were looking for. As a result, every part of the wedding that involved him was perfection. Zach J is an awesome person and an incredible DJ. We can't recommend him enough!! read more

As two people who fell in love partly due to our music taste, we knew that the DJ was the most important vendor for our wedding day. Shane was everything we could have hoped for and more! He was beyond flexible dealing with a type B bride during the planning process; He was always very easy to reach and a joy to speak to. On the wedding day he kept everyone dancing, and did a great job of playing off our playlists, while adding in songs that fit each vibe. He made us incredibly comfortable, directed the day perfectly, and gave us one less thing to think about so we could really let loose! We couldn't be happier with DJ Shane and GreenLight Talent as a whole, and will be recommending him to anyone we know who is looking for a DJ. Thank you again for everything, we will always look back at what a fun party we had with the help of Shane and GLT! read more

We are so grateful to have booked Green Line for our wedding!! Natalie and Imani were amazing in helping us find the DJ that was right for us and in generously making up for when the original DJ we booked went on paternity leave. Shane, our DJ, was such a joy to plan with and when it came to the dance floor - he kept it GOING. We had a mixed bag of guests in terms of "inclination to dance" and his set did a great job of giving everyone something to dance to! We had a few specific moments with the food, cake, and remembrances that he did a great job MC'ing as well. We also had the joy of having Marcus, our live saxophone player, come out and surprise all our guests a half hour into the set .... and then riffed off of what Shane played the rest of the night. The moment we did NOT plan that will live in a very special place in our hearts was our exit. Shane and my mom coordinated a sparkler exit without me having to do a thing - one minute we're finishing the last dance and the next Shane is telling everyone to grab a sparkler and line up and then we're running through a tunnel of our favorite people and swirling lights while Viva La Vida is playing in the background.... Absolute magic. Shane and Marcus, we are SO grateful for you and all the moments you created on our wedding day. read more

I would give Daniel from Green Line Talent 10 stars if I could, and would recommend him to any of my friends. He was incredible to work with and truly went above and beyond. Daniel was an absolute delight to work with from the very first conversation. His collaborative nature, creative ideas, and genuine enthusiasm made every planning meeting something to look forward to. He generously devoted his time and expertise well ahead of our wedding, ensuring that every detail was thoughtfully addressed. One of the standout moments was how Daniel went above and beyond to transform our wedding processional. At our request, he crafted custom-edited versions of our songs that flowed perfectly with our timing--giving the music a clear beginning, middle, and end. This level of attention not only elevated our ceremony but also added a deeply personal touch that we will always remember. Moreover, Daniel's seamless coordination with our other vendors, including the photographer and coordinator, ensured that the entire day unfolded flawlessly despite a few curveballs the day threw at them. His professionalism and warm demeanor resonated with everyone involved. I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel to anyone. Thank you Daniel!!! read more

Our DJ, Zach Jackson, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He did a great job in our initial meeting understanding our vision, was incredibly accommodating with our must-play songs, and his mixing kept the energy exactly where we wanted it all night. He also seamlessly integrated music into the speeches and toasts, which elevated the entire reception. Truly top-notch and highly recommended! read more

Hire Zach B for your wedding. My husband and I have a generally similar taste in music and vision of how we wanted our wedding to feel, but we were having a hard time narrowing down what would actually play and how to balance some of our differing tastes. Zach met us at a coffee shop for an hour and a half and pulled out of us exactly what we were looking for. He also accommodated our bizarre requests (like playing Atlien's, Creed remix "One Last Dance" for our first dance, masterfully balanced Jewish songs for the Horah, made sure to play ENOUGH Beyonce for my liking, announced that I wanted to have a Limbo Competition mid party, AND played my husband sleeper hit requests like "I'm Blue"). Our guest's reviews said it all - months later friends and family are stilling coming up to us noting how great Zach was and how much fun they had. Despite a venue that was super hot in the middle of a heat wave, that didn't stop our guests from truly raging - thanks to you Zach! read more

My wife and I worked with Elio Baseman for our wedding this past August. We met with Elio via Zoom a month or two before the wedding, we talked through everything we wanted, and then on the wedding day it all happened seamlessly and amazingly. Elio was a joy to work with, was very good at their job, and if we were going to plan another wedding, I would hire Elio again with no hesitation. Thanks Elio! read more

Green line Talent truly did us the biggest favor when they matched us up with DJ Matt Griffo. He took the time to get to know us and really feel out our music style- I don't think my husband left the dance floor once! He did an excellent job keeping the guests engaged and read the room beautifully. We had multiple check ins throughout the process. He also played the piano for our ceremony while his colleague, meena, played the cello! A week before my wedding, my maid of honor delivered some of the worst news possible. She has a new baby who was dealing with unexpected health issues and she was no longer able to make the trip from Florida to Chicago for the wedding. We were devastated. When I told Matt, he immediately started brainstorming ideas. He ended up broadcasting her through the speakers and had her on his lap tap through FaceTime. She was able to give her speech in real time and was able to see me, the guests and the rest of the venue. He went above and beyond! If you want someone that truly cares about every aspect of your special day, and doesn't just treat this role as a "job", you have got to book with Matt Griffo read more

DJ Elio was so GREAT to work with!! They worked with us on our music taste and even helped us figure out how to incorporate a custom song file for my dad to sing to. Elio also helped us keep our wedding day flowing in the absence of a wedding coordinator with announcements throughout the day/night. Above and beyond no doubt and every interaction with them was comforting and reassuring. And the dance floor at our wedding was full all night to no surprise. Thank you Elio!! read more

Elio was an absolutely fantastic addition to our small wedding and I genuinely can't picture what the night would have been like without them! They were highly communicative and easy to work with throughout the whole process. They were able to take the general music framework we provided and run with it, all while reading the room at the same time. I would absolutely recommend them for any event, big or small. Thank you, Elio!! read more

We had an absolute blast working with Green Line Talent and Daniel for our wedding in Plainfield in July 2023. Daniel took the time to ask us all the important questions (our music tastes, do not plays, would love to hear, etc.) before our wedding day and nailed it on the day of. Our guests had so much fun with all of Daniel's song selections! He really brought our reception to life. Everything went smoothly and we would HIGHLY recommend Daniel and Green Line Talent for your upcoming events! -Nicole&Chris read more

DJ Zach Bain is a phenomenal person and we don't have enough words to describe his efforts and strong character. He made sure to connect with us very early on to get a good idea about ours likes in music and genres. Come wedding day, which was in an outdoor setting, we experienced an inclement weather situation in Chicago's summer months. But Zach, being a trooper, came through and managed to keep the mood of the party uplifted. He is the reason for the party to go on smoothly without any interruption in entertainment. Zach is not only a superb DJ but a strong willed and selfless person who goes above and beyond to make sure the client and their guest are enjoying the party. I would strongly recommend to have Zach as their DJ at any event they choose to have in future. read more

Zach @ Green Line was THE BEST DJ we could have asked for for our wedding. From setting time aside to meet with us IN PERSON and discuss what we wanted and how/when to the actual day/night of our wedding it was very apparent that Zach cared about the entire event. Not only did he respect our DNP list (we've heard horror stories), but the list he put together from our preferences was *incredible*. He read the room very well and EVERY song was a banger. read more

Wow, we can not recommend Green Line Talent more strongly. Ryan Cash was our DJ for our wedding in Austin, and our family cannot stop talking about how magical the dance floor was. The music was a perfect blend of artists we requested, slow songs, dance songs, and some new favorites! Ryan did a truly amazing job with the ceremony music as well, from start to finish it was perfect. Thank you for making our special day even more sparkly! read more

A great dancefloor was my top priority when planning our wedding - it was the first thing I booked - and Zach made sure the dancefloor was going the whole night. I had a lot of opinions for the wedding music and was able to coordinate ahead of time along with day-of changeups. Zach accommodated my vibe suggestions as well as playing several deep cuts from my wedding planning playlist throughout the night. I may be biased, but this was the most consistently lively wedding dancefloor I've experienced. I had to do a lot of running around on the night, but every time I made my way for 90 seconds of dancing, the crowd and music was perfect. Zach is a huge reason why. I don't plan on having another wedding, but if I did, I'd hire Zach again in a heartbeat. read more

We had a great experience working with DJ Zach J and Green Line Talent! The office staff was always super communicative and easy to work with. We met with DJ Zach J twice prior to our event in order to nail down all of the details and explain what we were looking for. We provided Zach with a inspiration playlist and explained our music goals for the evening and he took it and ran with it! He mixed in the perfect amount of all of the types of music we were looking for and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Would 10/10 recommend working with GLT and specifically DJ Zach J read more

DJ Matt Griffo was nothing short of amazing! He worked with us prior to our wedding to get an idea of our musical tastes, and he matched them perfectly throughout the night. He even played a couple of surprise songs that were so great that my husband, who never dances, got out on the dance floor with me! He read the crowd perfectly and had the best demeanor. Not only was the music perfect, but Matt was incredibly thoughtful throughout the night, checking in with us to make sure the music was what we had in mind, asking if we needed water or a drink, and taking great photos and videos for us to capture moments. He was worth every penny and more!!! read more

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Green Line Talent and Gabe for our wedding in Chicago in May 2023. Green Line was super responsive and easy to work with. They listened to our preferences and shared playlists of DJs that fit our vibe. We ultimately chose Gabe, who made all of our wedding day dance floor dreams come true! Gabe was super attentive and even went above and beyond for us to create a special mix we hoped to use for our first dance. He took into account our requests and do-not-plays, while flexing his artistry and skill. Of all the complements we received from guests, the overwhelming majority were about Gabe and how much they loved the dance floor! I am not exaggerating when I say that every single song was a banger! I remember reading many DJ reviews before going with Green Line where brides remarked that the dance floor was full all night, but I was always doubtful. Well, now I'm one of those brides, but I hope you believe me when I say that our dance floor was packed all night, thanks to Gabe and Green Line! We had the time of our lives! read more

GLT was wonderful to work with! My husband and I used them for our November 2018 wedding. From the first email all the way to our wedding day the team was so easy to communicate with and made the process seamless. Erica & Elissa were always available to answer any questions we had and made the effort to make sure everything was running smooth. Zach was our DJ and he was also very easy to communicate and took the time to meet-up with us to discuss exactly what we wanted at our wedding. He accepted our goofy request (honestly goofy, a song from the Goofy Movie) for a walk-in song and was so accommodating to my mother-in-law who wanted to make the Mother/Son dance a surprise for my husband. On the day of the wedding, he was ready to go with the music for both our ceremony and reception. He followed our music suggestions/must-plays to a T and we couldn't have asked for anything more! I would definitely recommend GLT to anyone planning a wedding or event!! read more

Matt was a great communicator both throughout the planning process and day-of, and I appreciated his flexibility and collaboration to keep the day running smoothly. Kyle Dj'd our wedding, and he really crushed it. We picked him from his sample on the website. I'm not a dancer, and his mix had me dancing around the kitchen while we were cooking dinner. Contracting was easy, he showed up and delivered everything as promised. Ive heard from guest after guest about how much fun they had dancing, and how the DJ pumped out hit after hit. I'll definitely be recommending him and Green Line Talent to anyone who asks! Thanks for helping to make our special night super fun! read more

Our wedding DJ, Matt Griffo, through Green Line Talent, did a truly amazing job performing and selecting music for our big day! My husband and I cannot recommend his creative talent enough. If you are looking for someone to perform for your upcoming event or your big day, our loved ones were absolutely raving about how fun the music was and how there was a great balance of something for everyone! That included Polish and Italian selections that got some of our more stubborn family members out on the dance floor, too and was so special to see! Matt is truly an outstanding musician, as he played the piano during cocktail hour for us and truly added to the magic and sense of ambiance that started off our wedding reception. He is incredibly talented as a pianist and a musician in all regards, though this musical ability truly added a special touch to our cocktail hour. When it came time for dinner and introductions, Matt was enthusiastic and jubilant in a way that our guests leaned into as well! He did a great job setting the tone and getting the positive energy going right away. Matt's musical selections for the dance floor were, however, especially notable as all of our loved ones were dancing the whole night all the way to the point that we had to leave the venue! Matt's talent for music and truly knowing an audience as well as his genuine understanding and consistent check-ins with us throughout the evening made things run super smooth and made our big day an incredibly fun and successful event! Matt even shared some amazing video footage he got from his angle on the stage with us before we even left the venue and we were laughing and smiling at all of our family and friends interesting and silly dance moves after we left the reception hall. It was so special he went out of his way to share those videos with us right away! He truly cared about making our wedding day extra special and was willing to go out of his way to do so. Beyond the day of, Matt was great at coordinating and collaborating with us and was attentive to our questions as well as our suggestions in order to ensure our day could be personalized but in a way that was well-guided by his expertise! He was beyond flexible and even called to check in and verify the details prior to the night of. The DJ John Norman made my wedding day such a blast! First I got put together with John after talking to Elissa who was so patient with me as I am very particular about music. She suggested John and working with him was a blast! First off he offered to meet my Fiance and I to talk through the music and what info we needed to give him. He also ended up giving us so much helpful advice for planning at the meeting. He was friendly and personable but always remained professional. He was really great at the event about checking in with me about when I wanted thing sto happen etc. He actually I think did a lot more work than our Day of Coordinator to be honest She kinda dropped the ball but he would just come over with a smile and ask about when we wanted to do the speeches/dances/etc. The dancing was the best part! He was great about keeping the floor moving! I had given him a list and he was good about balancing songs I wanted (I think there were a few songs where only I was dancing! but he knew I wanted them haha) and what he knew the crowd wanted. I could go on and on about John because I really want to do him justice because he really gave so much energy to our wedding and our music and I'm so grateful for that! Pick John from Greenline for your wedding and you will not be disappointed. Thanks John! -Liz & Mihai read more

Zach was our DJ for our wedding this past June in Chicago. He was great to work with, and was very positive in checking in as we had to postpone our wedding 2 times. We hired Zach from the very beginning and he was with us till our new wedding date 2.5 years later. He would respond promptly to emails and took our vision for our music during ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and reception. He did not disappoint! My husband and I never left the dance floor for more than a few minutes! Our guests were dancing the night away as he mixed newer and older music to get all ages to the dance floor. We were so happy with the music all night and would hire him again! read more

Greenline talent was an incredible company to work with. Extremely communicative, kind and responsive and let me tell you GABE was INCREDIBLE! He had our guests dancing the entire night, literally not a dead moment on the dance floor and guests left saying it was the "most fun wedding they'd been too". He not only had an incredible read on the room but made it extra special by working some live music components in with our friends throughout the night. Hes a must book dj!! read more

DJ Kyle was excellent, courteous and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better setup than the one he provided. Helpful to the bride and groom. Did not ever make it about himself. We used Green Line Talent for our wedding on 7/28/2018. I don't even know where to start, bc they were just absolutely amazing! We honestly didn't know where to begin when looking for a DJ bc we have not been to a wedding in the city. We decided to check with our venue, Salvage One, to see who they recommend. I went on the GLT website, and it was just so easy! I was able to check out each DJ's samples, and just listened for hours. Emailing with Erica and Elissa was wonderful, they were always so quick to respond. We decided on Kyle based on his samples, and I can't say enough good things about him! Right after we booked, he emailed us with a very detailed questionnaire, and mentioned we could meet or chat before the big day. But to be honest, his questionnaire was so amazing, thats all we needed to feel confident about the music for our day. And let me tell you, he exceeded any and all of our expectations. The day of, we came to the venue early to take photos, and thats when I met Kyle. I just remember introducing myself and how genuinely kind and happy he was, so I felt even more comfortable from that moment on. Everything, from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to the dancing was PERFECT. My niece and nephew danced the night away, and keep asking me if we can go back to the day of the wedding to dance some more bc it was their favorite day ever! I will continue to recommend Green Line Talent to anyone I know who is planning a wedding (or any event). Thank you guys for making our day even more special! read more

We used Green Line Talent for our wedding in October 2018. Having a good crowd on the dance floor all night long was important to us, but I was definitely nervous about our ability to choose music that would appeal to the whole guest list. Also, getting married in the outer fringes of the suburbs, with a smaller budget, I was a little worried our only options were going to end up being someone's uncle or a DJ whose influences are solely 80's hair metal bands. I mean, there's a time and place for everything...but with Green Line Talent & DJ Zach, we were able to have music that felt true to ourselves, but still had a little something for everyone, without sacrificing quality or spending an arm and a leg! Getting a quote was easy and had all of the info I needed when making initial comparisons - no back-and-forth, hidden fees or pressure to book. I love that the "roster" section of the website has MULTIPLE sample mixes for each DJ - I saw so many other DJ companies that just don't do that. Meeting face-to-face to get to know Zach and talk about music tastes and preferences was great, despite the fact we weren't the most prepared couple at that time (pro tip: don't schedule your DJ meeting for the day after your bachelorette party)! read more
