All of his song additions were well received, his segues were super smooth, and our friends can't stop raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Thank you, Style Matters and Ryan, for your passion and execution in making this the best night of our lives!

The guest gave the ring to the DJ, Ryan N who chose to not only make no announcement about the 'found' ring, but also not make any attempt to give it to the bride or groom, event planner or the parents who were all still present. Ryan states that he gave it to a catering staff member. Needless to say, the ring was never found. Additionally, Ryan gave very lackluster services with several guests commenting that he was the only 'weak link' at our amazing wedding What a disappointing experience I also think that the company should assign a DJ earlier than 2 weeks prior to the wedding when the bride and groom are inundated with last minute details

He was especially lively and energetic when announcing the entrance of our wedding party and really helped set the tone for the evening. Once the dancing started, John seemed to have a great feel for the room and knew exactly what songs would keep the dance floor packed and the energy up. He put together a great mix of upbeat dance songs and slower songs, and the music never seemed to lose momentum. One of the things we appreciated most was that it still felt like *our* music and our taste, just put together and managed far better than we ever could have done ourselves. Seeing so many of our guests out on the dance floor throughout the night was probably the best testament to how good a job John did. We couldn't have been happier with how the music and atmosphere came together!

We wanted to do a mix of traditional "classic" wedding songs people all know and love with our personal favorite genres (EDM, funk), and DJ Chicago surpassed our expectations in how well he got through our lengthy playlist and seamlessly blended all genres together with highs and lows that kept the party going all night long. We appreciated DJ Chicago's willingness to try something a little bit different, and received numerous compliments from our guests with how much fun they had on the dance floor / how much they enjoyed the music. Not to mention, DJ Chicago was always quick to respond, collaborative, and helpful. Cannot recommend Nick & DJ Chicago highly enough for weddings and other events!

We made our own dance floor playlist and were expecting the DJ to play it all after they said it was great. But, the day of the wedding, the DJ told my husband they were having Wi-Fi issues and couldn't access the playlist. He didn't know why the songs on the playlist weren't downloaded by the DJ before the wedding in case there were Wi-Fi issues. Guests also requested songs multiple times and were told by the DJ that they couldn't be played due to the Wi-Fi issues. Then when I asked why our playlist wasn't played, I was told "You didn't say the playlist was a must play". I wish we were told by the DJ that we needed to say that the entire playlist was "must play" during the planning phase. The DJ also didn't read the room and hype up our guests to get on the dance floor until the last song, so it felt a little dead throughout the wedding. The guests that danced were OK with the playlist, thankfully, but the DJ experience was pretty disappointing overall. If we knew the DJ experience was going to be sub-par, we probably wouldn't have paid our venue's additional audio tie-in fee.

Neither of us could imagine why anyone would choose a large entertainment company, where you don't know who you'll get, over this very personable and knowledgeable man. Although we've never been through the process of finding and working with a wedding DJ, what a difference it made to have someone so supportive and professional. We met Harsh at a tasting event put on by our wedding caterer at our venue. We had an instant connection, knowing Harsh could very well be our DJ. After discussing details (availability, price, etc.) we knew Harsh was the guy for the job! Yes, we researched other DJs, it's smart to shop around. But for the same price as a DJ from a large company where you never know you you're going to get, Harsh was the obvious choice. Our first meeting was at a coffee shop as Harsh made it a point to get to know us (i.e., likes, dislikes, wedding details, theme, etc.). Future communications were via email or text. We also invited him to our new home a few weeks before the wedding to go through the final details. Harsh even made sure our fur baby, Saki, was attended to as she would be our flower girl. Although I'm very organized (Ok, I'm as 'Type A' as it gets...), I'm confident in saying our experience with Harsh would have been as flawless and perfect even if I was a hot mess express. He left no detail unmet, he truly cared not only about our big day, but about us, and I feel like we walked away with a new friend.
