I literally told him "I like 90's, 2000's, and ratchet music." He understood and SLAYED MY PARTY FOR THE GAWDS. I booked him because I heard him spin at Awesomely Luvvie's 8th blogiversary party and he was so amazing. Then I went to a School Daze party at the Promontory specifically to hear him again before booking. He was off the chain both times. I love how he mixes songs, he plays a good amount of each song before moving on to the next one (I hate when a DJ cuts the song short right before your part comes on), and he pays attention to the party--for example, at one point he started playing Rihanna "BBHMM" and my wonderful friends pulled out their hard earned money and started making it rain on my head. He let that song play until I got ALL MY DOLLARS!! You cannot go wrong with DJ Bonsu. I'll be booking him for all of my future events. He's super nice and talented. Your party NEEDS him.

Both are true professionals with years of experience and we didn't have to spend hours sorting through song lists as suggested by some other companies we considered. Neil was easy to work with before the wedding and provided advice whenever we asked for it. He made sure to have the specific versions of several acoustic songs for the ceremony and timed other special moments well. We did have a few bumps when a toast-giver was mistakenly introduced to give a blessing and the sound went out once during the ceremony. If there was one thing we would change is we would have gotten the attendant to help with the photo booth process, but that was on us.
