1st time here, got a deep tissue massage by Lucy and it was beyond amazing! The place was clean, calming, and I was seen right on time. My head, neck, and shoulders were so locked up I was in so much pain. Lucy, as petite as she is, has the strongest hands and helped me rub all the knots out. Shes knew where the pressure points were and worked through my whole body until it loosened up. Note for what to expect for newcomers: 1) come and take off ALL your earrings and jewelry so you can experience the massage without snags 2) they may ask you to take off your clothes down to undies (unless you get foot only massage), and yes they may move the flat sheet cover down a tad to half your buttocks to massage your back and behind. I was totally fine with that, it was not weird at all. Plus, the room was dark anyway Im liking Concord so much more because of this place and highly recommend Green Leaf for massages. I am going to be listing my honest thoughts and reviews of my personal experience. Based on other reviews, I must've had an interesting experience as most clients requested to see Mia or Lily in which who I did not have as my masseuse. PROS: -Clean area -Products felt great on the skin -Relaxing ambiance CONS: -The pressure was too hard for me even after asking to lower the pressure -I felt more uncomforted than relief even after the massage was over -When checking out, I was told to tip more in order to reach 20%. Personally, I didn't enjoy my experience, so I chose to tip less than 20% Based on my experience, I felt like my concerns were not listened to and to give more of a tip in the end was uncalled for. I have never had a massage ever, in my entire life. I just never thought to get one, but my muscles were tight from lifting something heavy earlier that week. My husband goes whenever he is sore so he suggested a massage. I made an appointment online which made it very simple, and had some tense lower back pain. I didn't need an adjustment, but some working out of my muscles. Lisa was very efficient in the way she worked on my back. She also did things to get the blood flowing in my body, but was still somehow gentle around my injured area. She was quiet and calm, the room was dark and peaceful. My husband and I have been coming to this massage spa for almost 2 years! We started coming while I was pregnant. They do amazing prenatal massages. I don't even have to tell them where the aches and pains are. I was having sciatic nerve pain which was gone after my massage! After I delivered I continued to visit the spa and found out how amazing the spa really is now that I could get a real massage. I work on my feet a lot and have a lot of aches after a long day which is completely fixed after my visit! Any mom can tell you having mastitis is the most painful thing to go through after birth. I visited the spa and with one visit (painful but worth it) they were able to help with a hot stone massage. Must try! Great prices too! read more

I absolutely love this massage/spa location! The spa is located in a small shopping center with ample parking. The location appears deceivingly small but there are plenty of massage chairs as well as private rooms. What I find the most convenient is the ability to book directly on their website where you can select exactly the massage you want as well as the massage therapist. Don't be discouraged if you cannot book with your favorite massage therapist because they are all good. Mia and David are on the my top choices of therapist because they have heavy hands (which I prefer) so consider yourself lucky if you book with one of them. I also appreciate the payment structure they have (venmo) which makes it very convenient. The location is conveniently located, clean, prices are fair, and the staff is friendly. My husband and I went to have a couples massage. Was it a winner? No. Let me describe the issues: 1. My masseuse had rough skin on his fingertips. That's a no no in my book. If your fingers are on my skin they shouldn't be rough. 2. My husband's masseuse continued to speak to other workers that weren't in our room, over the wall. Another hard pass. A massage should be calming. Listening to her yell over the open ripped room was not relaxing. 3. The receptionist continued to pressure us for a tip. Not only was the massage itself subpar (so we already weren't leaving a tip) but the extra pressure meant the tip was never happening and this review would certainly be penned. 4. The receptionist didn't tell us that there was a fee for the credit cards. One of my biggest pet peeves is being charged and then told AFTER the charge that we've been charged more. No signage, no warning, just an extra fee. Needless to say, we will not be back. read more

Went today for much needed massage. We had a foot reflexology for an hour. It was Wonderful and relaxing. My muscles were tight. Definitely will be coming back again. This business has potential. I was able to squeeze in an appointment for my mother and me in the afternoon and the receptionist was cordial and respectful. When we got there, we immediately noticed that the location is a bit sketchy; it's right next to a Cigarette shop, but I wouldn't hold that against the business. However, the reason why I found my experience to be lacking is because of the price vs. the quality we got. I paid $110 + $20 tip, which is quite pricey considering the fact that the rooms were open (you can hear EVERYTHING) and that it was a bit worn-down. Their massage beds were uncomfortable; the sheets were clean but rough, and the face cushion stunk a bit like sweat. Those factors made the experience a very uncomfortable experience for me. Looking past that, the masseuse was great! She followed the sanitization guidelines and wore a mask. Towards the end of the massage, I felt relaxed and even managed to doze off a bit. My mother's experience was the same and she enjoyed the massage; they're experienced at what they do. However, at the beginning of the massage, she was talking to another masseuse in a different room for several minutes. I did not appreciate that. Overall, I felt the quality versus the price was not worth it. Some recommendations I have for the company are to have sheets that clients can fill out before the massage, so we could let our masseuses know whether we want the pressure to be soft, medium, or hard and to let them know about the areas on our body that we want them to pay more attention to. If they invest in better massage beds, sheets, lotions, or decorations for the rooms, it would make attract more clients and make them come back for the future. I would recommend this spa for those who just want a massage, but I would not recommend this spa for those who want to truly immerse themselves in relaxation. read more

I'm so glad I read the reviews on Yelp! This spa is incredible! I loved that I could schedule my appointment online with no hassle. All of the descriptions of the services are clearly laid out. You can see each price for each type of massage as well. I booked my 60 minute massage with Mia who also happens to be the owner. She was very welcoming and asked questions about my body, where the pain is, and what I'd like to have the focus on. She could easily find the spots that needed attention just by feeling my body. The deep tissue massage felt wonderful and the communication was wonderful. She allowed me to relax, breathe deeper, and stretch out those muscles. $45 for 60 minutes is our if this works for the quality and care of this spa. I'll be back! read more

I called today very late notice in need of a deep tissue massage. I've been suffering from sciatica and knee pain They took me in within an hour and a half of my call. Maggie was my therapist. She did a very deep tissue head to toe massage that I desperately needed. Although I know I need more, she relieved a lot of my pain today. It was very clean and the rooms were very peaceful. The price was $60.00 for an hour and I tipped her $10.00. I paid twice that much at Massage Envy and didn't receive as much care. I highly recommend this place! read more

Just what I needed! I literally found this place on yelp this morning and booked an appointment for the day of. I needed a really good massage BAD!!! I had the 2 hour deep tissue with Lucy and she was amazing. I just had a preemie 6 weeks ago. I was sick in the hospital before and after the baby was born and she was in the NICU for almost a month. The amount of stress and tension I was holding in my body caught up with me. My body was aching so bad. I could hardly walk prior to my deep tissue massage with Lucy. Lucy is super strong. I found this place through Yelp and Google. It was my first time here & I used the online booking system. I've never gotten a reservation at a spa for a massage this easily. I got the 60 min Deep tissue body from this wonderful lady named Lisa. Lisa took care of my problem area which was my shoulders & targeted my knots & stiffness of my muscles. She was very reassuring, kind, and asked if I was okay with the pressure of her massage. For the rest of the massage, she used soft to medium pressure since all I wanted to do was relax and I walked out of there feeling amazing! I recommend her and this place for a massage! read more

As a long time regular - for years - my experience is always consistently positive. Mia is a very kind person and does her best to make the client experience positive and so does the rest of her team. Massage is a very personal experience. After all, who wants strangers touching your body? But Mia and her team are amazing and maintain a very clean and relaxing facility. Plus the prices are very fair. But the number one reason to go is the quality of the experience. My advice for anyone new is that if the pressure is too light or too hard, just say so in the moment, until it's good, not in a review. I got to Mia when I was 6 months pregnant for a prenatal massage and it was the best massage I got the entire pregnancy! Even before I got pregnant I would go to different places to get a massage and this place is BY FAR my favorite!! I'm still going on almost weekly basis, I would give up on a good restaurant or new clothes just to get a great massage and It will be only at this place! I've tried only with Mia and Lily they are wonderful! I have to say Mia is just unbelievably gifted and a wonderful person! Super recommend!!!! This establishment is in a small plaza right off the freeway with a large parking lot. There is a community space that can be separated by drapes for the foot massages/reflexology and they also have individual/couples rooms. The linens are fresh/clean and the restroom is always stocked/clean as well. The staff are super friendly. I always make an appointment prior to coming in and usually are pretty accommodating. It's very rare they can't get me in when i want. During my massages i can hear how busy they get so I'd recommend making an appointment. Also, this isn't exactly a day/zen spa, so if you're going to be annoyed about them trying to run their business/multitask answering phones, greeting clients and massaging - please don't come here or any of these type of reflexology spas. This is just how they run. The massages are not that expensive but they put in very good effort to make you feel better and help you relax. But if you want absolute peace and quiet, feel free to pay $200 for a 50 minute shiatsu massage. I've gotten; Body massages (private room, clothes off, with oil/hot stones) - i personally don't like the feeling of laying of the massage tables. I trust the staff but don't feel comfortable laying down in the position for too long. These are good for whole body massages and if you like the soothing feeling of massage oil, long massaging strokes and less focus on areas but all over sensory relaxation. Legs, back, shoulder, arms, head. Foot massage/reflexology (communal space, no oil, minimal lotion, clothes on/socks off roll pant legs up) - They soak your feet in a bucket and put a blanket over you. The massage focuses on your feet/calves. Chair massage (communal space, no oil, no clothes off, seating in ergo-massage chair) - these are my go to. The focus is usually shoulders/back but they also do light arm, lower body and head work. They elbow to the shoulders/trap area is the best. Overall, since moving out here, this has been my go to massage place. Every time i call, Mia greets me so sweetly by my name (i love that!). And for the most part, she knows what I'm coming in for and who i want. I almost always ask for David. If he's not available I've also had another petite Asian woman who also has pretty strong hands. I'm used to going to reflexology massages in various places and I've tried so many different ones. This is by far the best one in the Concord/Pittsburg area. The service is great, it's clean and it's fairly affordable. I come here on a weekly basis. For myself and my husband to get two chair massages for 30 minutes each, i usually pay $90 including tip. Mia accepts venmo so that's helpful but i always tip in cash. Also, these are great people that don't half ass the massage.. if you're getting an hour massage for freakin' $30.. don't be the jerk that really only tips $5. By default for reflexology places, I usually tip about $10/30 minutes for whatever type of massage I go with. read more
