Hired and fired after one cut. Man showed up , I walked out and said hello! He just stood at the foot of my pr and stared at me. After a second hello, he said....hi. Being the first time I wanted to go over a few things, he was less than receptive. His lawn equipment was fair at best. The lawn didn't look professionally done either. Absolutely destroyed my yard. It is going to cost thousands of dollars to repair the damage they did. I have gotten quotes from other companies, who are appalled at the condition my yard was left in. They didn't complete the job as promised either. They refused to come back and fix the mess they created. This is after I paid them thousands for a huge job. I would never recommend them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. We scheduled an appointment and the cost. I called 2 days in advance when I heard they were forecasting 8 inches of snow. GREEN GUYS NEVER SHOWED UP. I tried calling them the first day and they didn't return my call, I called 3 times the 2nd day and they didn't have the common curtest to return my calls. I know that they had my name and address because they emailed me a proposal. I ended up having to call another snow plowing company and it was hard trying to get someone at that point. My first vendor review. They charge as they like. Had to get bank involved due to fraud over $1000. They hold your credit card and charge as they like. Lawn care was atrocious as there were at least 5 different technicians at my home over a one season period. I actually had a tech say he didn't know the side yard to my back yard was my property. Blamed it on office staff. Terrible communication. All this with my handicap ramp at front of house. I'm a young 67 year old, 22-year Navy veteran and a prior 15-year property manager. Please be smart if you hire this company. The fraud section of my bank credited all the bogus charges thankfully. Careful on giving them credit info for 'file' . They will not go into a contract unless they have your card on file. Don't let those shiny trucks fool you. I'm now whole but what a ride. read more

Do not use, I reached out via email and phone to them multiple times to ask for an ETA as to when they would start coming to mow our lawn and never received a response. When I left a message that I no longer wanted to use their service (they never did anything), then they called me back and the woman said they were have issues with their phone and email service, SURE... This week I received a bill for a spring clean-up they NEVER did and they charged my credit card. I contacted them multiple times again telling them it was fraudulent and I was putting it in dispute and never received a response. read more

Henry of the Green Guys RI, showed up early this morning, Oct 11, 2024. We did a walk through. I showed him that my neighbor was adding a fence, to be careful. Henry did a Great Job mowing, edging the driveway and front walk, and at street level. Great job Henry. I'm very pleased my lawn looks real good, after the morning cold temperatures. Quoted us $125 for the work, came and did work we did not ask for, did not send us a bill within the 24 hour period that you can dispute the work, and billed us for $1,000. Do not believe their estimates and beware that you will have no information to act upon within their dispute deadlines. read more

This scam company 'quoted' me $109 dollars for a cleanup. They showed up 2 weeks late and then charged me $1000. They didn't even finish the job. I had to call another compan to come finish the yard. DO NOT under any circumstances hire this company. They will take your payment information before they even see your property, charge you 10x what they quote and tell you to pound sand after. I'm surprised they haven't been sued out of business... yet. read more

Horrific company. They do not have the right equipment in order to do the job. They cleaned the leaves out of the yard in our neighborhood and instead of removing them, they placed them onto just cleaned city property to blow into the neighborhood. When I called to inform the company owner he said yeah well the homeowner told us to do that. So I told him that its their responsibility to remove the leaves and that it will be reported to the City and he truly didn't even care. Run away! Worst service and communication ever. Work was done by untrained staff and managed by uncommunicative supervisor. When I pointed out the crew ripped up two down spouts with the line trimmer and asked to review work by supervisor, they stopped answering texts. I paid the invoices and glad to never see them again! read more

Short Story.... 1. They do not follow through with estimates and services that you request. 2. To speak with someone, you (1) call the office, (2) they take a message, (3) you wait for a callback (4) Hope to God you are around when they call or you're back to step 1. Not an efficient use of your time when their services are supposed to make your life easier. 3. Seasonal cleanups are mediocre - and they only send one person so if they are charging by the hour, well you can do the math! 4. They auto-invoice and auto bill. Their billing system or business process is not sophisticated enough to prevent invoicing/billing when services aren't provided, so babysitting their invoices and fighting about whether services were actually provided is going to become your new part-time job. 5. I do not believe they provided me with the services that they billed me for. If they did in fact provide winter services when I believe they did not, then they haven't done a very good job. I can't even tell they did anything which begs the question, what am I paying for? That's a problem either way most reasonable people would look at it. 6. Lastly, by not doing what they say they will do, not billing appropriately, and not following up on customer issues expeditiously - I could not recommend this company. read more

Paid for a load of dirt on Wednesday to be delivered on Saturday. They never showed up. I called four times and left messages, no response.

We scheduled a yard clean up and got spectacular service. Dillon really took great care of our yard he was courteous, hard working and the result was amazing. We cannot say enough great things about Green Guys. Looking forward to our next project. read more

Everything was easy. Requested a spring cleanup quote online and (for my mother's property) the estimate came back quickly. Within a week, they came and worked efficiently and the two men who came were friendly. It took them about three hours and we thought it would take much longer given that it's a larger piece of land. They do not have the right equipment to complete the job efficiently! I still have debris and hedge trimming all over my yard. My beds were not edged as states in contract. Poor customer service! Came right out with a quote. I should have gotten a written quote, verbally agreed to front and back yard work. Andre told me that the front yard would take 4 yards of loom and seeding. He even asked if I would be able to water daily. Remainder of backyard to be cleaned up. They dumped mulch on my front lawn (I could have gotten that free at the transfer station myself). After about a month, I got a call saying that my bill is overdue, but I never got one. Funny how they could contact me to tell me that it wasn't paid but they couldn't figure out how to get it to me in the first place..... After going back and forth about what they did and didn't do, I sent pictures. That was June 3rd. Next thing it's 1st week of July and another call that I haven't paid. Never got a second bill. The "amended" invoice had not changed. Andre got extremely rude, speaking to me like I was an idiot. I had to just hang up. I sent a check for my estimation as to what was done in the backyard based on prior work (albeit with anther company) and told them to take me to court if there was a problem with that. In his response e-mail he rudely stated that I had confirmed verbally my e-mail and that their billing system was handled by a different program. Not my issue if I confirmed it once and their office staff was not bright enough to correct it. My advice? Do NOT use this company and if you do- get EVERYTHING in writing and take before and after pictures. If I could give less than one star I would. read more

You hire professionals to use the proper equipment to do the job right. I hired them to aerate a 2000 sq feet small yard and they used an attachment hooked up to the back of a riding mower and NOT A GAS POWERED CORE AERATOR TO DO THE JOB RIGHT LIKE A PROFESSIONAL LAWN CARE COMPANY WOULD DO. I watched as it bounced over the lawn and not aerate it. The driver had to stop to adjust the weights that were put on the back of the aerator which was a sign it was not the best of equipment. I was home and thought they would knock on my door to see if I was satisfied with the job when it was completed but they did not. I texted them that I was not satisfied with the job they did. They told me the aerator they use "USUALLY" does a good job (Do you hire professionals to "USUALLY" do a good job?) and offered to come back again to fix the problem but when I asked them to use (previously hired professionals used)A GAS POWERED CORE AERATOR SO THE JOB COULD BE DONE RIGHT, they did not come back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If they do not have the equipment to do the job right and cannot do a simple job like aerating a lawn properly, you would be crazy to hire them to do a large job! 1/2 star is too high of a rating for the job they did.
