Turns out, those roofers were calling a substance rust that wasn't rust and I didn't need a fix at all! Jay Jr literally saved me $4k on the spot (with photo evidence and all) by pointing that out. I learned so much about our gutters and roofs from that first meeting, he was a wealth of knowledge. Right there, I knew he was our guy. I didn't need Jay to fix the slate anymore but since I was so impressed I happily hired him to do some gutter fixes we needed done and painting a small portion of flat rubber roof white. He did a fantastic job with both. Jay was also the person in charge of our project and doing the work himself. He texted to give me a heads-up before he arrived each day and gave me a recap after each day to share progress and findings (with photos). Over several days of work he found a bunch of previously undiscovered but significant problems that he fixed without charging me more. Jay's integrity is unmatched - he knows that by working on your roof/gutters that his name is forever on that roof/gutter and he takes that very seriously. He came as a referral and I'll hire him again in a heartbeat. He'll surely be the only roofer I refer to others and my first call in the future. THANK YOU JAY!

I contacted Jose about having some prep done for a patio we were planning to build. We had a family…read morefriend who would lay pavers, so we really just needed the site to be dug out, base put down, compacted, and screeded. Jose came out and gave us an estimate that included burying the downspouts to avoid water dumping on the new patio. He was prompt, communicative, and gave us an estimate in a few days. We scheduled them to come the following week. He and his brother showed up right on time, and promptly began digging things out. I was impressed with what they were able to do in a single day. Because rain was in the forecast, they were flexible on coming back a second day to screed the final paver base. It rained particularly hard and it became clear that there was an issue somewhere. When they came back a few days later, I pointed it out to Jose and he promptly dug out the spot and ensured it was properly filled in and compacted. They finished the job and cleaned up. After the first day, they left the site relatively clean (considering they knew they'd be back). Overall, I would 100% recommend these guys and would love to have them back to do additional projects at our home. They were responsible, competitively priced, and wanted to ensure things were done right.

I initially hired them to clean my gutters and while he was at my house, he noticed my deck needed…read morework and he said he could do the job. I was in the middle of gathering quotes to re-do my deck, and their quote was the lowest. We were extremely disappointed with the work. It does not look good at all and our friends and family constantly criticize it for poor craftsmanship. Main Issues -Boards are extremely uneven. Some are so close together that water does not drain and it warps the boards. Some were extremely far apart and we had them come back to fix the boards. Very uncomfortable walking barefoot because of the poor craftsmanship. -Terrible paint work. He did not paint the boards through and there's missing paint throughout the deck. They only did one coat and it's already chipping off after one year. They painted on a day with a rain forecast and it poured within 6 hours of them painting the deck. They should have done it on another day, since paint should have at least a day to dry. -They didn't do any paint prep, so they sprayed white paint all over our house, pool pump, and the gas meter. -Nails and screws are sticking out and it's extremely unsafe. They did not put wood fillers over holes even though we requested it, and the pictures speak for themselves. -They ran out of screws and began using nails on my deck to hold down the boards, which is not sustainable and will need to be replaced. We live less than 5 minutes from Home Depot. Lack of attention to detail and consideration for doing the job right. -He did not remove any of the old wooden boards that he replaced even though he said he was going to do that and it was listed in the quote. We were extremely unsatisfied with the work and requested John to come back. It took over a month for him to come back and fix up the deck. He was clearly in a rush and did a very poor job fixing the errors associated with the deck. We brought up 8+ issues and he only addressed a couple of them. The biggest eyesore is the holes from the screws. I purchased wood filler and he said he would fill in holes, sand, and paint over them. He never did. He knew he did a poor job and he left without doing a final walkthrough the second time around. He also didn't seal any of the paint cans before he left. Very unhappy with the deck and it will cost thousands for us to fix it.
