I wanted a complete overhaul and fix-up of my sprinkler systems and some extra bits added in. A lot of the work is OK, BUT one month later I went out to assess, and found several problems. I just repaired three sprinkler heads and fixed a leaking pipe. Also had to adjust pressures and angles of multiple other sprinkler heads. And there are still heads that are randomly spraying water in the wrong direction. The also repaced valves. To be fair those are working well, though there was disagreement about the installation process which ended up costing me more money that originally quoted. I paid what I thought was a professional company to do the work because I wanted a professional job. The work was substandard. read more

TL;DR: COMMUNICATIVE, CREATIVE, HONEST, HARD-WORKING, KNOWLEDGABLE, GREAT VALUE -- THE BEST! I had been needing to completely redo my entire front and back yards on my rental for a decade -- a HUGE job -- and Moses made the entire process not only simple and stress-free, but also FUN! Moses and his team of capable, good-natured, and hard-working guys did EVERYTHING front and back: installing drip irrigation, xeriscaping, building a wood-burning fire pit, installing planter borders, mulch, and gravel, and consulting on which plants to choose and where to place them so they'll be happy for a long time -- and then planting them too! I never had to worry with Moses. He was always there when I needed him, would be on site the entire time, and responded to texts and phone calls with lightning speed. I know I probably messaged him too much but he never seemed annoyed. He's always smiling and I could tell he really cares about doing a quality job. He is earnest, sincere, candid, and trustworthy. In the few times I wasn't available to consult on an idea for something when a problem would inevitably arise (as is part and parcel when doing any kind of construction), Moses would always figure out some creative way to solve the problem without missing a single beat. Some people might look at Moses and see someone who is young and therefore inexperienced -- but that's not the case! He is young, but he ABSOLUTELY knows what he's doing. And he's fair. He isn't like all the other contractors I met with (and I met with 6 total because choosing a contractor can make or break a project--and the bank!). With Moses, I felt like I was his top priority and that he truly valued my business, rather than how all the other contractors made me feel as if I was wasting their precious time (returning my texts and calls days or even weeks later, missing or canceling appointments at the last minute, and trying to charge me double what the job should cost, as if I must be a dummy who doesn't know better possibly because I'm a young and petite woman?). With Moses and Green Crest, there was none of that; just honest and reliable communication and fair pricing. Because of the beautiful landscape work done by Moses and his fantastic team, MY PROPERTY RENTED IN ONLY TWO WEEKS! DURING COVID! Everyone who saw the place could not stop gushing about the front and back yards. The new tenants said they were absolutely bowled over by the yard and knew immediately this was the house for them. It's all thanks to Moses and Green Crest. They did such a great job with everything that I decided to hire them for regular gardening and upkeep as well. They suggested doing more than just replace our old leaking valves, but to also get to the source of our high water pressure issues and add regulators. We have had leaking valves for a while, and now they no longer leak! We also converted our backyard sprinkler system to an automatic system and it's been great. I liked that they considered the future of our backyard and gave us a control system with spare controls in case we add more lines later, which we had been thinking we might. OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend. Moses and his team did an excellent job under very difficult circumstances that arose at the last minute given the storm and rain Sunday night into Monday (Feb 5 & 6th). We had an emergency flooding situation during this massive storm with water pooling in the backyard and intruding into the master bedroom by Monday morning. The water would not stop and towels were not enough--we were another day of rain away from this being an even bigger problem. Except for Moses. Given the rain, his crew was not working, but after I told him the emergency problem, Moses got all of his guys together and they were here within 90 minutes of our first discussion. Moses quickly assessed the problem and built temporary drains throughout the yard to stop the flooding and water intrusion to the house. Great job and reasonably priced! So thankful that he was able to come out right away and help us. I will update this review after he comes back next week to put in the drains. read more
