Moses and his crew just finished a project at my home. They installed a drain pipe from my back patio to the front street gutter and they expanded and replaced my concrete driveway with pavers. The job was done in the time promised, the crew was always on time, and they cleaned up after themselves. The pricing was fair and Moses was great to deal with. I expect to have a long relationship with this great company. read more

Moses was very responsive, priced very reasonably. He and his crew came the day scheduled. He removed the tree with such precision and care. He did what I requested. His crew was very respectful of my property and cleaned after they hauled the tree. read more

Moses was great. Him and his team did a great job. The work was done quickly and the did a good job cleaning up. Highly recommended

I wanted a complete overhaul and fix-up of my sprinkler systems and some extra bits added in. A lot of the work is OK, BUT one month later I went out to assess, and found several problems. I just repaired three sprinkler heads and fixed a leaking pipe. Also had to adjust pressures and angles of multiple other sprinkler heads. And there are still heads that are randomly spraying water in the wrong direction. The also repaced valves. To be fair those are working well, though there was disagreement about the installation process which ended up costing me more money that originally quoted. I paid what I thought was a professional company to do the work because I wanted a professional job. The work was substandard. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Green Crest today. Had a leak in our main sprinkler valve and they squeezed us in and fixed the problem. Honest and worked hard to help us. read more

Moises and crew are easy to work with, attentive, respectful and produce a professional product at a very reasonable price. Moises listened to our thoughts and desires for relandscaping both our back and front yards, giving us constructive guidance, recommendations and choices to meet our goals while providing options with cost differences. They provided a completely new drip irrigation system (WiFi app controlled with adjustments based upon local weather) and new low voltage lighting. Moises regularly asked us for input about anything we felt could be adjusted and responded graciously. This was a fantastic partnership and enjoyable experience that resulted in landscaping that is ideal for our needs and desires. We highly recommend Green Crest Inc with the knowledge that they will deliver professional results that will provide years of enjoyment at a reasonable cost. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars! read more

The backyard grew in so well that we asked Moises and his team to come back for a bigger project. This year he turned our front yard, sidewalk and side yard into a great drought tolerant landscape using California natives and Mediterranean plants. His suggestions really helped us improve our curb appeal and we love the result. It's appealing, practical and incorporates our requests at a great value. read more

We hired Moises at Green Crest after an exhaustive search for the right Landscaping company to replace our front and back yards lawns and above ground sprinklers with a drought tolerant solution. We researched every company operating in the Los Angeles area, studying their online profiles, pictures of past work, and reviews. We met with more than ten of these companies in person, solicited bids from six that we liked, and decided to hire Green Crest. This decision was based primarily on four factors: 1. Quality of past work 2. Ability to deliver on our artistic vision 3. Price 4. Style - who we thought we could work with best Having completed our project, I enthusiastically recommend Moises at Green Crest and his team. The work is excellent, performed professionally, on time and with minimal disruption to our day-to-day routine. The look of the landscape is beautiful and exceeds even our ambitious standards and expectations. The price was as agreed, not the cheapest (nor the most expensive) bid, but a fair price for the nature of the work that was done. From a style perspective, Moises is an ideal partner. He listened to all our concerns and was extremely responsive to every need. He gave regular updates on status, made changes as requested and agreed, and did so with a positive attitude. We give Moises and his team at Green Crest the highest possible recommendation. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Moses was a pleasure to work with planning out our new backyard. He always had a plan even when a problem came up. They gave us a brand new lawn, a new drainage system for the floods we had been getting and redid turf a previous owner had made a mess of. They arrived right on time and were in constant communication. The work they did was so neat and beautiful. I wish I had more projects for them to do but I'm sure I will in the future! Thank you guys. read more

TL;DR: COMMUNICATIVE, CREATIVE, HONEST, HARD-WORKING, KNOWLEDGABLE, GREAT VALUE -- THE BEST! I had been needing to completely redo my entire front and back yards on my rental for a decade -- a HUGE job -- and Moses made the entire process not only simple and stress-free, but also FUN! Moses and his team of capable, good-natured, and hard-working guys did EVERYTHING front and back: installing drip irrigation, xeriscaping, building a wood-burning fire pit, installing planter borders, mulch, and gravel, and consulting on which plants to choose and where to place them so they'll be happy for a long time -- and then planting them too! I never had to worry with Moses. He was always there when I needed him, would be on site the entire time, and responded to texts and phone calls with lightning speed. I know I probably messaged him too much but he never seemed annoyed. He's always smiling and I could tell he really cares about doing a quality job. He is earnest, sincere, candid, and trustworthy. In the few times I wasn't available to consult on an idea for something when a problem would inevitably arise (as is part and parcel when doing any kind of construction), Moses would always figure out some creative way to solve the problem without missing a single beat. Some people might look at Moses and see someone who is young and therefore inexperienced -- but that's not the case! He is young, but he ABSOLUTELY knows what he's doing. And he's fair. He isn't like all the other contractors I met with (and I met with 6 total because choosing a contractor can make or break a project--and the bank!). With Moses, I felt like I was his top priority and that he truly valued my business, rather than how all the other contractors made me feel as if I was wasting their precious time (returning my texts and calls days or even weeks later, missing or canceling appointments at the last minute, and trying to charge me double what the job should cost, as if I must be a dummy who doesn't know better possibly because I'm a young and petite woman?). With Moses and Green Crest, there was none of that; just honest and reliable communication and fair pricing. Because of the beautiful landscape work done by Moses and his fantastic team, MY PROPERTY RENTED IN ONLY TWO WEEKS! DURING COVID! Everyone who saw the place could not stop gushing about the front and back yards. The new tenants said they were absolutely bowled over by the yard and knew immediately this was the house for them. It's all thanks to Moses and Green Crest. They did such a great job with everything that I decided to hire them for regular gardening and upkeep as well. Green Crest's attention to detail is important. I know they won't leave a single weed behind and I trust that Moses' team will make sure my investment (all the expensive plants!) won't go to waste and will be healthy and happy for years to come. I cannot recommend Green Crest highly enough. If there were more stars to give, I would give ALL of them! read more

My wife found Green Crest for her mom's home in Northridge. My mother-in-law needed front and backyard landscaping and hardscaping. Moises and Jesus took excellent care of my mother-in-law. Moses did lawn, DG and sprinklers in our yard. He did a great job and worked so hard every day he was here. The best thing was his communication - very nice, honest and reliable. I was really happy with Moses and his crew. I added new drains to our yard and Moses was knowledgeable, had great ideas and executed flawlessly. His pricing was much more reasonable than other estimates. He poured new concrete and it fits in seamlessly. He took his time making sure everything was done correctly but still got it all done quickly. He left the job site clean each day. He was responsive via text and phone. We had Green Crest come out to repair our front yard sprinklers and they did a great job! They suggested doing more than just replace our old leaking valves, but to also get to the source of our high water pressure issues and add regulators. We have had leaking valves for a while, and now they no longer leak! We also converted our backyard sprinkler system to an automatic system and it's been great. I liked that they considered the future of our backyard and gave us a control system with spare controls in case we add more lines later, which we had been thinking we might. We are so happy with the work done. They did a great job! read more

Moses and his team did a fantastic job adding new mulch to our property, cleaning up all the greenery, and adding some new sod and plants. We got quotes from four companies and Moses took by far the most time listening to what we wanted and explaining his recommendations. His price was fair and his quote was detailed -- we were totally clear on what his team would be doing, what we'd be charged, and how long it would take. Moses had excellent communication throughout the project, and he and his team did a great job of wearing masks and keeping Covid-safe. He went above and beyond, even checking in a week later to see how the new plants and sod were doing. We will definitely use Moses and Green Crest again for our landscaping needs. read more

I am so impressed with Moses and the team at Green Crest & Company! I had them do a complete overhaul of the irrigation at my Mom's home. Moses and his team are simply wonderful. Our backyard desperately needed an overhaul. Irrigation system, dirt, grass, plants, trees, gravel. Moses met with us several times to discuss options for fulfilling our wishes within our budget. He was kind, patient, timely, and attentive. No hard-selling or pressure, just good conversation! When changes or surprises in the process occurred (they always do), Moses let us know right away and offered helpful suggestions that in many cases made it better than the original plan! We're so happy with our new backyard oasis and find ourselves spending more time there every day. Thank you Moses!!! read more

OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend. Moses and his team did an excellent job under very difficult circumstances that arose at the last minute given the storm and rain Sunday night into Monday (Feb 5 & 6th). We had an emergency flooding situation during this massive storm with water pooling in the backyard and intruding into the master bedroom by Monday morning. The water would not stop and towels were not enough--we were another day of rain away from this being an even bigger problem. Except for Moses. Given the rain, his crew was not working, but after I told him the emergency problem, Moses got all of his guys together and they were here within 90 minutes of our first discussion. Moses quickly assessed the problem and built temporary drains throughout the yard to stop the flooding and water intrusion to the house. Great job and reasonably priced! So thankful that he was able to come out right away and help us. I will update this review after he comes back next week to put in the drains. read more

Moses and his team are downright superstars. They actually want to hear your ideas, kindly offer some of their own too, and they are flexible with all sorts of constraints (ie our toddler has some stranger danger issues and we wanted them to work while she was away from the home). They're so gentle and yet so extremely competent. What a pleasure and a privilege to work with them! I'm excited to plan out other outdoor projects now! read more

My wife and I hired Moses to redo our landscaping. He did a great job helping us pick out the best options for our growing conditions and gave us really fair pricing. He didn't try to sell me on unnecessary irrigation work which was nice.
