We had the same cleaner for many years and sadly she recently moved away so I had to try to find someone new for our place in SF. I used the 'request a quote' feature on Yelp and Hugo responded within minutes with a competitive rate for our two bedroom, one bath (split) apartment in the Marina. Good cleaners are hard to find because the rates can vary, the level of 'clean' can vary and we need someone to come many times per month, often at the last minute since we rent our place on Airbnb. I've used Green Cleaning twice and have been very happy with both services. I schedule my appointments ahead of time through Hugo via text - he's very responsive and friendly to communicate with. He is usually able to accommodate my scheduling requests - there seems to be a fairly large team of cleaners and he will schedule them on an as-available basis according to my scheduling preference. The first service, I had two women. It took them just a little over 3 hours to clean my home. They were very thorough with their cleaning and took out my trash and recycling for me. For my second service, I was only assigned one lady (Barbara) so I thought that it would probably take her twice as long. Surprisingly, it only took her about 2.5 hours to finish her cleaning. Part of me was doubtful that she could be as thorough working on her own and finishing in less time, but after doing a walk through after, I was very pleasantly surprised by how much she was able to accomplish in so little time - very efficient! Payment is also quick and easy - you just Venmo the ladies directly. They never seem to expect any gratuity and are sincerely grateful if you do decide to provide a little something extra on top. The company markets themselves as using green products. This was a big seller for me as I have several pets as well as a baby at home and I want to make sure they're all protected. read more

I am not sure how this company has a such a good review but the cleaning service I received does not call deep cleaning. These are just a few samples of final result. The toilets were not clean as well and they said that's the maximum we can clean!! While 7 months ago another company (definitely more professional) came and cleaned them perfectly. Hire them! I am someone who cleans often, likes a clean space, and has high standards overall when it comes to cleaning. Two cleaners from Green Cleaning came this morning to clean a unit which had just had the floors refinished. The unit wasn't dirty, but there was dust everywhere. We paid for a post-constriction clean and it was worth every penny. We paid another company 25% more for a similar service last year, and we were disappointed in the results. Green Cleaning did not disappoint! There isn't a grain of dust anywhere, from ceiling to floor. Every bit of trim and fixture was taken care of. Everything is clean, sparkling, and smells great. I first want to acknowledge that this was my first time using professional cleaning services. It was quick and easy to book. I regularly clean my house, and the person who came from Green Cleaning even said, "this looks clean," when she saw my restrooms and other areas. What I requested and booked was deep cleaning for places that my own regular cleaning may miss. I even showed the corners of the floors and pointed to the importance of the cabinet areas - the outside surface (I did not expect inside). Overall, I recognize the work that was done on the bathroom floors (inside shower surfaces) looked better. The kitchen sink also looked better. However, the person skipped too many things. Those cabinet surfaces I showed were left with stains (see the photos that I took 'after' the cleaning); they were still dust and even spider nets in some places (indicating they were not touched). Even the floor around my fireplace (the stone area surrounding it and basically just near my area rug) was untouched. I also added an extra fee for windows from inside, and I couldn't tell whether they were cleaned as there was still much dust and other residues. During the cleaning, there was so much noise, and my toilet seat did not feel as stable, which looked like it was cleaned hard (applied too much force to it). Overall, gentler and more careful handling of materials would be much nicer. Also, when I booked, I was told they were going to use shoe covers, but the person who came did not use any. Especially after she cleaned the floors, she was wearing outside shoes/flip-flops inside (unless they washed under them after house cleaning and I did not see). However, she cleaned the floors so fast that my socks still immediately got dirty after they left, which to me is superficial cleaning, not deep. As an educator, I wouldn't pay ~ $230-250 again for such cleaning surfaces. I write so you know what to ask for. If you expect deep cleaning like me, verify they understand you want a deep cleaning. I recommend you ask in more detail what's covered and perhaps show them all the areas/corners you want to be cleaned. read more
