I have been using Green Cleaning SF for several years. Hugo, the company's owner is always responsive and helpful in scheduling visits. He sends reminders and is very professional in his communications. The pearls of the company, however, are Tiago and Zania. Not only are they fabulous cleaners, they are truly delightful people. They have been our regular cleaners for awhile, and never disappoint. We recently moved out of our apartment and put it up for sale. Punctual, thorough, respectful, and communicative. I got a regular cleaning + oven deep clean earlier this week and the cleaners showed up right on time. I appreciated that they worked around my schedule as I took meetings at home. Pros - The bathroom is spotless and smelled sanitized (a plus for me) - The farmhouse kitchen sink is somehow more white than before?? - I didn't even know what color the inside of my oven was until after the cleaning. Prompt responses, but curt and will basically tell you that you aren't worth their time. Speaking to the customer service aspect specifically, they won't even talk with you to reach a reasonable rate/conclusion. Just a quick write-off "No thank you." I am admittedly unfamiliar with cleaning services and rates and more than willing to pay $50-100 more for the 1 bedroom-1 bathroom I was inquiring about. I asked if $100 would be ok for these two rooms, and would have been ok paying $150+. I just am not familiar with cleaning pricing and they wouldn't take the time to work with me, despite them offering 2 cleaners for 2 hours at $240. 1 cleaner for 2 hours for $150 would've been even better for them.. read more

Tiago and Zania are the absolute best. I've never had someone clean so thoroughly and with so much intention. They spend as much time as they need to to get the job done well and I always come home feeling in awe of how incredible our place looks. I have a husky so the dog hair gets everywhere - and they're good at making sure nothing is left behind. On top of that, they're some of the kindest people i've ever met. Extremely disappointed with the cleaning. Informed Hugo and he refused to fix the issues even though he will say in posts that he offers to fix issues. Pros Guys were nice When we pointed out additional places to clean, they did them. Cons Missed a LOT of obvious cleaning spots such as spots on mirrors, corners, didn't even get up all of the dirt after sweeping multiple areas. Update to my original post: Not only was this the worst cleaning I've ever had, Hugo also flat-out lied in every part of his responses to my review. He says he would have fixed it if I had told him, and I did tell him immediately after and he refused to fix it or provide a discount. Attaching the texts and also his original response. He is implying my house was very dirty which is so offensive and also a flat-out lie. We get weekly cleanings in our house. I wanted a deep cleaning and we only do window sills in our monthly deep cleanings. Go to another cleaners! There are a lot of good ones that do not lie and will actually do the service they promise! Original post This is the worst experience with cleaners that I have ever had and I cannot believe that they have so many good reviews. I wanted a deep clean and they charged me $400 for what was not even a good regular cleaning. I paid for cleaning window sills and they completely missed 3 of them and others were still dirty. Initially, they didn't even clean the tops of doorways or the back of tvs. They didn't move furniture to clean under. They were nice and used my vacuum which I paid an extra $30 for (I didn't realize how bad of a job they had done). They didn't clean the laundry room which is connected to our tv room (which every other cleaner I have does). There were 2 here for 3 hours, so it's not like it was taking them soo long or it wasn't what they expected. It takes that amount of time for regular cleaners. I contacted Hugo asking to correct it or give me a discount and he refused. I feel completely ripped off by this service There are a lot of cleaning companies out there and I would highly recommend going with a different one!! read more

This was my first time hiring a cleaning service, and Green Cleaning SF is a fantastic service! Firstly, Hugo messaged me through the Yelp app almost immediately after I put in a request, and we got it booked for the following weekend. I was a little skeptical about having only 1 person clean, worried it would take them a long time or be a lot of work for 1 person. I still think it was definitely a lot of work for just 1 person, but I'm glad that they get to keep all their tips at least! Jacqueline helped bring life back into my home and she was very sweet, polite, and overall a pleasant energy. She also folded my towels like a hotel and made a rose out of my toilet paper! I thought those were sweet touches. She organized along with thorough deep cleaning and I love being in my home so much more now. I can't thank her enough. She's amazing! I think the price is the best you're going to get for the quality service in SF, so I highly highly recommend them! It was a $150 flat fee + I tipped her as well. Rating - 3.5 The initial process was smooth, and the pricing was transparent and fixed. The cleaning was a bit of a mix. They did a great job on the basic house cleaning, cleaning the floors and windows. Floors and windows were great, and they also cleaned window sills well. However, this wasn't thorough work and was a huge miss in the kitchen and additional space for which they charged additional (they did tell me beforehand). In the kitchen, they left most of the cabinets uncleaned. When prompted, they cleaned a couple of cabinets and a corner at the end of the inspection, but they left pretty much all the cabinets. Also, there are some marks on the dishwasher that may not be removable. I'll recommend them for basic cleaning but not deep cleaning -- anything outside of plain view. read more
