Kamila and Livia arrived exactly on time and did a beyond phenomenal job of deep cleaning my apartment in an impressive feat that took almost 5 hours to complete (I got some extra add ons, like fridge interior cleaning). They went above and beyond my expectations, scrubbing down my window sills and baseboards. dusting my shelves, getting the grime off of things I didn't even know had grime on them. Giving a 2nd star as the owner Hugo is very responsive to questions and any issues that pop up. Originally choose this business due to it is one of the few, that is licensed and bonded for their business. Was able to obtain an appointment within a few days, but it was once the appointment was set, that the problems started. 1) Confirmed what was required for the deep cleaning and what areas to focus on. An approximate time of 3 hours area given and this is a "flat rate." 2) Informed it was part of the job description, the areas I wanted them to focus on. Mop all wooden floors in home, all bathroom floors, kitchen, and clean kitchen sink. I shouldn't worry. 3) Cleaners, day of names are communicated at appointment and receive a reminder text day before of scheduled day and time appointment. Great! 4) The day arrives and they're late 10 minutes and no apology or mention of tardiness. Not exactly thrilled but willing to overlook as excited for the cleaning, as it's been many months. 5) 2 hours and 50 minutes go by and the cleaners leave. Looks like, great job, but no! First, didn't get the ten minutes for the full 3 hours. Mopping not done in any areas in the house, that was requested and confirmed, prior before appointment is set. Basic dusting is only 1/2 done, whereas one section of a table is done, but then left the other 1/2 dusty? How do you do that?!? This was consistently found throughout the house.. Hugo reaches out to schedule another cleaning for the next month, but I'm now sending communication and pictures of the Non-Mopped Floor to show that this wasn't done!! Work out that they come again to finish the job next day, and now they're early by 45 minutes. Luckily, it was doable. Came and stayed 15 minutes and mopped the wooden floors, but never mopped the bathrooms or even pick up the debris that was there! Agreement with Hugo, that payment rendered after 2nd trip, but it was just as bad! This was the 2nd chance they wanted and satisfaction for a job well done. Again, communicated to Hugo, that bathrooms not mopped or even cleaned! Offers a 10 percent discount for a 3rd trip or next cleaning. Honestly, forget this business that can't do just what is being requested and noted on their website, as included in the cleaning routine. read more

From beginning to end, my experience with Green Cleaning SF was grand! After a busy few months (holidays included) without being able to do a deep cleaning of the house, I requested a quote from Green Cleaning SF via Yelp. Hugo responded fast, gave me an easy quote, and told me they were available to do the cleaning on the date I requested. (I say, "easy quote" because he gave me a hard dollar number instead of the annoying "need more information" that some businesses on Yelp give.) He told me who was coming (Ana and Rodrigo). On the day of the cleaning, Ana and Rodrigo came a couple minutes early. They were very pleasant and got started right away. I watched them work. They were so efficient - thorough and not rushed (2 hours for a 2br & 1ba home). I was so impressed. I also noted some things about them that I did not like about other cleaners. 1) they took their shoes off and wear socks around the house! 2) they clean from top-down. 3) they clean kitchen first (from clean to dirty). 4) their attention to detail is impeccable. I'm a health inspector by trade, so this for me is key for a great house cleaner! I can't stop raving about them. I've hired 4 other cleaners before this. I never hired 3 of them again because I didn't like their job. I always thought I could do better than they did. And 1 stopped responding to me even though I liked her job. However, Ana and Rodrigo blew me away. They did such a great job. (I hope they like their tip. :)) They even messaged me after they left, thanking ME. I'm blown away. I truly felt I was left with a clean home! I feel I can relax, now that the house is so clean. I can tell Hugo is organized, and he responds to messages FAST. He's very pleasant, polite, respectful, straightforward, and has a great attitude over Yelp messaging (unlike other cleaners who ask you too many questions, are too picky, or talk too much nonsense). I can tell Hugo only sends cleaners that you can trust to do a good job. I've already inquired with Hugo about regular cleaning! The house still looks and smells clean, and I'm already looking forward to the next time!!! read more

I paid an extra $50 for interior window cleaning, and the total came to $250. Their service rate is quite reasonable and more affordable than other places. Claudia and Flavianne were the team members who cleaned our house. Personally, I felt comfortable with seeing a female member. I expected two big guys, but they seemed like a married couple - although I apologize if that's not the case. I just wanted to mention that they were very nice and made you feel comfortable. My husband and I were not fans of strangers coming to our place for cleaning, but we can trust Hugo's team. I'm amazed by their team's cleaning skills. We hired Green Cleaning SF to clean our new condo. 1) Hiring Hugo was super easy -- he was super clear with what was included/excluded, pricing, and expectations. He was super responsive and easy to book. Was not the cheapest quote we got, but based on other folks reviews, we decided to spend the extra few hundred. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! 2) Hugo was super flexible with timing. Our home close got delayed and he was able to accommodate last minute changes in our schedule. Updating after Hugo's response: The below was the one and only time we've used his company's service, and obviously, we clean our own home regularly. In no way was this a once-a-year clean. We treated ourselves to a professional deep clean after our son was born, and this is what we got. His response is shameful. Compared to the other reviewers experiences, I guess we were just unlucky. We had cleaning service a year ago. Hugo sent Ranielly, who arrived 30 minutes late and was here for 5 hours. She did an amazing job on the kitchen, and then everywhere else was just ok or basically untouched. In fact, she didn't clean a single thing in my son's room, literally just walked in and out, yet we were still charged for it. She also broke two items in our kitchen. The entire time she was here, it was as if she was trying to be as loud as possible. We tried to engage her in pleasant conversation but she was in a foul mood and very standoffish. It was uncomfortable. Finally, she was about to leave, and instead of mopping the floors, she just squirted a line of scented stuff down the hallway and wiped it off as she walked towards the front door. To say we didn't get our money's worth is a massive understatement. Before even giving feedback, Hugo let me know Ranielly had been let go. I then told him we were unhappy with her work, and he offered no remediation. Now, a year later, I am seeking quotes for a move-out clean and Yelp automatically requested one from Green Cleaning. Their prices have increased and the customer service is still just as bad. Think twice before hiring these guys. read more
