So when can I move in? I'll just hang out on the patio all day. It's the kind of patio where the time is going to pass and you have no idea while enjoying a tasty beer and yummy food. Glad I was sharing the tots otherwise I would've eaten them all by myself. No judgement if you do. I probably will at some point, but after I try a couple more things on the menu.

Nice convenient little brewery tucked away in Costa Mesa. Didn't have food but had their Japanese Lager feeling something light? It's a good choice. Service was quick and friendly. And their outdoor scene is nice and refreshing

Great vibes for a Friday afternoon! Brought dad and we just vibed in the outdoor seating area under the SoCal sun. Beer on draft served quick no line.

I've enjoyed Evan's beer since way back at that other brewery he worked at. I was excited when they opened the first Green Cheek in Orange and then we had to visit this one too! This was has the same amazing beer as the first but they also have some fantastic food.. like Smash burgers. We arrived early on a Friday evening and got in line to order a flight and a smash burgers. There was an only a few people in front of us and the line moved quickly. Our food was ready in a timely manner and was served up hot and fresh. The beers, of course, were fantastic as always. This was our second time at this location and the food and service were just as good as the first visit. We'll definitely be back when we're in Costa Mesa again.

The only negative about this place is the parking. There's not a lot of parking in the parking lot and it's just very limited parking around the area. It was my first time here and I ordered the Cobb salad and it was really delicious and a great size for the price! The ambience of this place is super fun. I met up with some other moms and we sat outside and it was really awesome! Service was great and our food came out really quickly. Lots of seating outside and some seating inside. Just a fun place to be!

Some of the best IPAS around !!!! While visiting from Vegas we love to stop in and get a beer flight and food . It is counter service so they give you a buzzer and you go pick up your food . The service is always fast and friendly. The double smash burger is the best !!! They also have vegetarian options . Also the Fish Bowl of Youth was awesome a 15% seltzer - heck yeah !!!!

There's a great selection of beers and hard seltzers to choose from. We only ordered the fries this time, but they were crispy and good. I loved the overall theme and design of the brewery, it has a fun, welcoming atmosphere. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside this visit, and it felt spacious and comfortable.

Loving their pet friendly patio! The burger was delicious just not shareable , perfect size for your own belly! We order to share a Cobb salad pretty good size to share! Parking could be hard to find!

I usually don't go to breweries because I'm not the biggest beer drinker, but if a place has other drinks besides beer, I'm always down to check it out. Came here the other day with some friends for drinks and food and honestly, it was such a good time. I really love the open concept here, especially the outdoor seating area. There's plenty of tables and open space, which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends and family. It's also super kid friendly since there's room for them to run around and burn off all that energy while everyone relaxes. But be sure to dress warm cause it definitely gets chilly at night . I got their Levy Lemonade and wow... I was actually surprised by how good it was. It has lavender in it, but the flavor wasn't overpowering at all, which I personally loved. The drink was refreshing, smooth, and not too sweet or bitter , just perfectly balanced. We also ordered the chicken wings and they were really good. I do wish they let you do half-and-half flavors because the lemon pepper was VERY lemony but still super tasty. The woman helping us at the register was really friendly and helpful when it came to recommending drinks. Honestly, the whole staff was welcoming and nice, which made the experience even better I can already tell this is going to become one of my regular spots. Thank you Green Cheek Beer Co. for such a fun experience !!! I'll definitely be back soon

Green Cheek in Costa Mesa is a lovely brewery that serves amazing food. It's located behind the busy area of The Camp in Costa Mesa. They have a small parking area, but it was difficult finding a spot around there in general. The service is pretty good. When I asked for recommendations, the person taking my order did a great job sharing some of their preferences. I ordered the 12 piece wings for $12. The lemon pepper flavor was solid. It came with ranch and ketchup, which really elevated the experience with different flavors from every bite. I also tried the $14 Buffalo chicken sandwich. The size was good and it came with a delicious side of fries. However, in terms of protein, I think I prefer the chicken wings. I loved how family and pet friendly this place was. They have plenty of indoor seating and an outdoor area filled with long tables. Water, napkins, and some utensils are self serve. Overall, Green Cheek offers affordable and delicious food. It's a perfect hang-out spot and is now my go-to for chicken wings.

Been to this place a few times and finally getting around to reviewing it. If you are looking for a good pint and eats with a chill vibe, this is it in Costa Mesa. You'll walk in and be greeted by a friendly staff. Check out their menu and options, walk up, order, and get your buzzer. Head on out to the patio area, where there are plenty of seats. If you want to stay indoors, there are areas for that as well. Great place to catch up with friends and vibe out. Food: Love the tater tots here. Burger is great too. Hard to go wrong when you have a good pint to wash it down. Pineapple slushie marg is pretty darn good. I would recommend that on a hot day. Parking is a bit tricky here, so heads up on that. They do have a lot, but most likely, you'll do street parking and venture over. It's best anyway because it'll force you to walk off your food and booze. Swing on in for a delicious bite and pint. It's a good time here.

Do they have a full bar?

Not a full bar, but they have hard seltzers, cider and wine too. They make slushies out of seltzers as well

They have plenty of tvs tuned to sports. I bet they'd tune it in for you.

Do you have board games?

The games I've seen there have been brought in by customers.

As of 2021, do you allow dogs outside?

Hello. As long as there is a patio the Health Department allows us to have dogs outside. So at our Costa Mesa location we currently allow dogs. Also our Orange location allows dogs since it is only a tasting room.…

Love your smash burger!! Would I be able to substitute the bun for a lettuce wrap burger?

Excellent beer...But why can I bring my dog into Crack Shack, but I can't bring my dog into Green Cheek?!

Because Crack Shack doesn't care about Health Department rules and Green Cheek does.

So how is their stout, like the coconut stout?

Better! They're using real toasted coconut instead of an extract. The flavor is incredible. Can't wait to pick up a crowler for quarantine!

Everyone always has a smile on their face and are ready to help you out. Upon walking in, you can order yourself or head straight to the counter to place your order. I usually sit inside where its cooler on these warm humid days recently. They offer combo deals right now which is a good offer for a burger, fries, and drink. Definitely check that out. I ordered a western burger yesterday. Think of the Carl's western burger but like a billion times better. So juicy and the bbq sauce they use is quite distinct. You can tell who is the manager - he's the guy sitting at a table with a "Stand" hat and tee-shirt feverishly entering data and looking at stuff on the computer. Why are managers always the one at the table with a laptop? If you go just down the block to Flower Child the manager is the one working at the counter handing our orders, or delivering orders to tables and interacting with the guests. Never saw him use a laptop but I'm certain he does. But the manager said goodbye to us as we left. A chicken sandwich with chicken and cole slaw was made with chicken that we very flat and hard, and had no real taste at all. I think we've been trained to get all our flavor from sauces - they had lots of sauces available and brought them to the table on request. A basket of sweat potato fried was undercooked and too soft. Not so good even with salt and lots of sauces. Of course we didn't eat the signature burger....that's what The Stand is known for...so we didn't really give them a chance for their home run. The place was about 25% full at about 3pm so ambiance was fairly quiet and service was quick. Not sure about a return visit. We're on the fence.

I ordered the Big Bargain Special, which comes with a cheeseburger and fries, and it never disappoints. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and tasted like a homemade burger fresh off the grill. I haven't had a burger in a couple of months since some oral surgery. Disappointment doesn't begin to cover my expectations. The sweet potato frys were SOGGY like In and Out's frys. They were almost burnt being so brown. They were cold. There was little flavor. I was in my van to leave, this was a to go order, when I decided to have one; I was hungry. I shut off the van, went in, put them on the counter and said "you eat this crap". Then I left. I was driving away and decided to start eating the burger on my way back to work. While sitting in the left turn lane, I took a bite, made a U-turn, made another U-turn, went into the establishment and put the burger on the counter. I said "you eat this crap too". Then I left. The bun was dry as if it was three days old off the sale rack. It was almost a crouton. It had RED onions. I don't like red onions. The girl who took my order didn't say red onions nor did the ingredients list on the counter that she pointed at when I asked what was on a burger. It just said onions. I asked her what the sauce was. She said thousand island. I said just mustard and ketchup. I like mustard. Just not a quarter cup. I couldn't even taste a pickle there was so much. The patty was obviously a generic frozen patty from a supplier. It was also cooked to the point I could repair my boots with it. I wouldn't even haved served this to a dog. IT COST ME $13.50 TO FIND OUT I WOULD RATHER EAT A BURGER FROM THE DEL TACO NEXT DOOR.

They do have them where I'm at in Las Vegas, but I have yet to visit any of those establishments. I was super hungry and thought I want to go try that rib sandwich. Place is easy to find right off 17th Street. You really can't miss it with that big sign. And the building is definitely unique as well so you shouldn't have any problem finding it Inside you can either choose to go digital and and skip talking to a real person. I'm old school, I actually like engaging with people. So I went to the counter. I ordered the rib sandwich without looking, and was a little shocked by the total. The sandwich itself is 15 bucks, I ordered a small fry which was $4.50, and a small drink which was $4. With a 15% tip my total came out to $28. Definitely a little shell-shocked by that. Now let's talk about the sandwich. It came to the table and at first glance it looked very small. When I picked it up there was a very generous portion of rib meat inside like a big chunk of rib meat. Huge pickles and a lot of sauce. It was a great sandwich. Do not get me wrong, what I ordered again? Maybe. They don't really have a meal deal that includes fries and a drink so it's sort of all a la carte. Now let's talk about the taste. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich itself was a solid 10. That being said, I would definitely feel more comfortable paying $12 for this sandwich, as I think 15 is a little exuberant. And you don't really get that many fries for $4.50. I can't imagine what the meal deal would have been, but I'm sure people would absolutely balk at that price. I would have given it a five-star review, but that is way too much for that sandwich. As delicious as it was, I just don't feel right spending that much for a sandwich. If it could be reworked, and the price dropped down I would be all in in a heartbeat. Bottom line? If you've been wanting to try it, I say go ahead. Just be warned that you could be unpleasantly surprised unless you know what the prices are you're getting into.
