They recommended a variable speed, air handler and heat pump, that could handle heating and cooling all in one unit. Since then, they've been super communicative about any maintenance and anything they can do to keep my unit running smoothly. They did such a great job, my neighbor down the street hired them to install a similar unit just after I did!

After reporting a furnace issue (ignitor continually activating after burner was ignited and blower…read morerunning) to my home warranty company, they sent a contractor technician. He diagnosed that the blower needed to be replaced. (I am a certified aero engineer, so am familiar with ignition and burner systems) When questioned about the continuously activating ignitor, he indicated that the continuously running ignitor was "normal." When I sowed him online that the continuously activating ignitor was not normal and could be dangerous, he didn't 52 minutes researching Google on his cell phone and did not change his diagnosis or estimate fir cleaning the fan and replacing the blower that was working fir an additional $240 over the warranty's initial service fee. I called highly recommended Air Systems Solutions in Ventura, CA who arranged for a technician visit the next day. He was very courteous and did a very thorough job and replaced the ignition panel. Aside from the part itself, the service fee was less than half of the original contractor's estimate. Highly recommend work from Air Systems Solutions in Ventura CA.

$700.00 AN HOUR Yep, a friendly serviceman came, did a basic…read moreair conditioning repair and he did a good job. But, I timed the visit, and it was a few minutes under an hour, and that included everything; the estimate and repair labor. The bill was $ 758.00 for that hour. I talked to the repairman about the cost of parts versus labor and he said they were not separated out. I talked to the business owner later on. He said that of the $758, the parts were about $80....although I found Amazon is cheaper. He did go through his costs with me, stating they were part of the job, but most had nothing to do with the repair but rather, costs of running a large corporation ......costs such as .....employee benefits ......travel time to and from the job ......office management ......payments on his fleet of trucks, my guess ......profit for the owner that the worker never receives. On the other hand, the costs of a self-employed serviceman would be parts and labor only, in his bill, usually $50-$100 an hour plus parts. So, bottom line, it was a simple job with cheap parts which I accepted ....trusting that it would require more time and cost than it actually did. My bad, I should have gotten another estimate, which means a second cost for a second estimate, but in this case I should have paid it. SINCE I KNEW THE REPAIR THAT WAS NEEDED, I SHOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO BARGAIN A BIT LOWER WITH SUBSEQUENT CONTRACTORS... SOMETHING I WILL REMEMBER IN MY FUTURE CONTRACTED JOBS. My view, everything was legal, but the service of a large air conditioning company should be noticeably cheaper or else it offers no benefit to offset the cost. I saw no such benefit. Finally, I would encourage you to talk to the owner, he's pleasant and well spoken. He will have a lot to say.

I would strongly recommend thinking twice before hiring this company…read more Their crew was doing work at my neighbor's property here in Camarillo, and apparently cleaning up after themselves wasn't a priority. They left screws, nails, sharp metal pieces, and other construction debris in the roadway -- exactly the kind of stuff that can end up embedded in someone's tire and cause damage or potentially create a safety hazard. The worst part is that I wasn't even their customer. I'm the neighbor who had to go out and clean up what their crew left behind in the street. I'm including photos with this review showing what I personally picked up after they were finished. This wasn't one stray screw or nail. There were multiple pieces of sharp debris left where vehicles drive. I also emailed the company about the situation and gave them an opportunity to address it. I received no response. Leaving potentially tire-damaging debris in a residential roadway, making a neighbor clean it up, and then ignoring an email about it says plenty about the level of care and accountability I witnessed. Based on this experience, I would absolutely not hire this company.

I feared it was the compressor and that it would a long time to receive parts having to go through a warranty claim and with current supply chain issues. He also gave me the option of choosing the quality of replacement parts, most folks will toss in a cheap overseas made product, but Matt carries quality made in america parts which I gladly went with. You can immediately see the difference in the quality of the capacitors just from visually seeing the parts. My service experience was great, Matt explained my options and also provided advice on things to adjust and add to the system in the future, that I'll certainly be looking into. I'm an engineer by profession, and always appreciate people that truly knowledgeable on their craft. He'll be my go to for any HVAC related issues or concerns moving forward. Call with confidence.

DO NOT HIRE - SCAM ARTIST…read more My father had an absolutely terrible experience. This so-called "air conditioner service man" is nothing but a scammer. He was paid in full-- over $30,000--for seven AC units, and not a single one of them works. On top of that, he stole over $8,000 worth of equipment that was paid for and never delivered. He never even connected the units to the power panel, making them completely useless. To make things worse, he left a massive hole in the wall, creating a safety hazard that we now have to pay someone else to fix. This man took the money and ran. Absolutely unprofessional, unethical, and should not be in business. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ripped off.
