She said it was one of the best days she has had in a long time! The blueberries were huge and so yummy! We of course had to try a few at each bush we went to just incase they were not sweet, needless to say they all were amazing! We ended up giving 5 bucks to the jar for those we ate since we felt we ate many! Lol the guys were great with explaining the difference in the different varieties of berry and informed us what rows to use. This place is so big with so many options to choose from. Even though it rained some Sunday it really was the perfect day for us all! We will be back for more believe me.

I was visiting my brother and sister in law over the weekend and convinced her to take the kids blueberry picking. I had researched online trying to find the best and most appealing local place for us to go and we decided on Bartlett's. We pulled in and there seemed to be a LOT of cars parked there and a line of people waiting to pay. I remember thinking...this place must be one of the best if its this popular. Boy did I think wrong...where do I begin?? The first word that comes to mind is RUDE. We walked up to get our buckets, and were instructed to go to the area where the netting was open and that someone would be with us shortly to tell us where to go. I found this a bit odd, but whatever. So we walked over...and were greeting by a young man who asked us to hold on while he took care of the people who were in line in front of us. At the same time, a guy pulled up next to us in a white pick up, who was apparently the owner, and told this young man that "baby carriages were not allowed" as he glared at my sister in law. We were pissed. What kind of family establishment is this??? There was a guy in a motorized scooter a few rows back, did he tell him scooters werent allowed?? There was plenty of space through each row for even the largest wheelchair or baby carriage. So finally the young man showed us which "bush" we were allowed to pick from, and if we wanted to move, we needed to ask him first and he would move us somewhere else., but to try and limit our picking to only one bush...also odd...so we were irritated, but started picking. As we picked, we could hear pickup truck guy (the owner) conversing with other customers. Yelling at someone who was apparently not picking from the right bush, someone who was in a "closed" area, and we heard him respond to a woman who was seen eating some blueberries with "thats fine, if you want to take money out of my pocket!" Seriously could you be any more of an A-hole??? I understand that the farm might be his livelyhood, but c'mon, everyone is going to sample. It occured to me that maybe theyre trying to maintain some sort of order, but I dont think yelling at customers is the right way to approach it. After that we decided it was time to go and that these people did not deserve our money. The teenaged girl at the register was nice enough, and cashed us out. 2.63 a pound. Ive had better and cheaper. Not worth the money for being treated so rudely. I will not go back. These people were blueberry picking nazi's and although I tried to figure out why they run things the way they do, there is no excuse for being rude to a paying customer.

We met the owners and had a wonderful chat before grabbing a large web sack for apples Sue wanted for several apple crisps she had planned on making. Though the orchards are relatively small in comparison to something like Butternut Farm, it's just a beautiful setting out there. I had a great time dragging the wagon along behind Sue while she gathered up her quota. We ended up buying a large pumpkin as well, had a great time, and would drive up here anytime just to walk around. It's just beautiful. Check it out!

This is such a fun place to visit with so many activities that are family-(and friend)-friendly!…read more My friends and I went apple picking here! You can start off by taking brown bags or berry cartons at the entrance storefront. There are TONS of fields to explore: we explored fields of raspberries, elderberries, blueberries, and then you get to the apple orchards. There are SO many varieties of apples. I would make sure you have some good shoes because in some areas of the apple orchard, there are some steep inclines. If there is rain, it can also get slippery. There is also a HUGE pumpkin patch, flower fields that are available for picking, and a CORN MAZE - the latter is $6 entrance fee! Again, so much to do. Unfortunately I did not have time to experience the corn maze because it started raining by then. If I could make a suggestion, It would be nice for some of the trees to have a suspended net around the bottom of the tree (maybe this isn't optimal for weight purposes). But so many apples fall off the tree- or people drop them while picking. It seems a shame to go to waste, so would be cool if there were a way to catch them before hitting the ground and bruising/ resting in dirt. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. It was a ton of fun to visit the farm with so much to do, and delicious apples. PLUS Mac's Maple is also down the road so that was our next stop!

All in season, all fresh. All literally fresh picked because the customer makes the selection at the tree or bush. Getting there is easy. Couple of miles off Exit 9 on I-89.and once you're in the vicinity, signs are clearly marked. The road up to the farm and the view from the farm itself affords incredible views to the North including the White Mountains. Spectacular scenery. Then there's the farm itself, a quaint and beautiful place, quite extensive, with numerous crops. We spoke to the supervisor and asked to pick blueberries. By the way, they have a large selection of harvested fruits and vegetables already at the sales kiosk for those who don't desire to partake of the picking. But we were here to spend an hour or two for the fun of it and we told the supervisor. So he took us along to apart of the farm where we were the only ones in about a 300 foot radius. There were others in several other locations in the blueberry section but we never saw them, the place is so large. He left us alone with our bucket. The blueberry bushes were gigantic and packed with ripe blueberries, beautiful, and huge. Some of the bushes had so much fruit the branches were on the ground from so much weight. It was a joy to pick so many high quality berries. We collected close to 8 lbs of blueberries and after a couple of sodas, we paid $19. We're going to have blueberry pies, muffins and blueberry Belgian waffles for some time to come. A delightful experience. Great customer service and awesome views and outstanding product.

I found Wild Berry Farm from by doing a Google search on "farms with wild blueberries" and I'm so glad I did! I spoke to Nancy, the owner of the farm (who is lovely) and arranged visit. I don't think she planned to be open the day we went, however, she graciously accommodated my husband and I. When we pulled into the property, we were greeted with the most gorgeous farmland scenery and 2 friendly frolicking border collies. Nancy gave us a tour and some history about her wild blueberry orchard and then showed us where to pick. I have never seen so many wild blueberry bushes with tons of ripe fruit in one place. Nancy also has PYO delicious red and pinkish colored raspberries. It turns out that my husband, who is allergic to raspberries, can eat the pinkish ones without any problems- I think they are called "Queen Anne" raspberries. Nancy also sells some other nice items including wild blueberry sauce and a delicious wild blueberry syrup that I used to make a nice craft cocktail. Picking the blueberries was a peaceful and kind of a therapeutic activity that we really enjoyed. We chose the smaller bucket size and had plenty to use 5 cups on a delicious pie with some left over for yogurt, salad, oatmeal, etc. We HIGHLY recommend a visit to this unique wild blueberry farm located in the beautiful Lakes Region. We are definitely heading back before the wild berry season ends!!!

The owner was standing outside and was more than happy to still let us come in. Appreciating that he let us still come in, we parked with 150% intention of buying a pumpkin. As soon as we started walking out to the field he started giving us a hard time about a camera we brought to snap a couple photos of our daughter if we wanted. He started lecturing us about how we weren't "doing a photo shoot in his pumpkin patch all because we didn't grab a wagon because our plan was to get ONE pumpkin. Not 45. As we explained we weren't doing a photo shoot just taking a couple photos of the baby he tells us "you aren't getting it" if you aren't buying a pumpkin from my pumpkin patch then you don't get to take photos". We never gave him a hard time about just said we wanted to take pictures of our baby picking out her first pumpkin. He definitely could have been A LOT nicer than he was but he had no problem harassing us. Honestly the pumpkin patch was not even "photo shoot worthy" if that was our "grand plan". This guy didn't do us any favor by letting us in 3 minutes after they closed either. We should have left as soon as that happened. And after that he disappeared and we didn't seem him again after that. I get why this place has barely a 2 star rating. 10/10 don't recommend and will never be back. It's not how you treat people. I feel bad for his son and who he looks up too.
