Friendly service in a nice farm setting with homemade ice cream. There is a pavilion in front of…read morethe ordering window with picnic tables underneath. There are a variety of ice cream options to choose from and three of the four in my group chose to get flights. I love when places offer flights of things! This flight was four 2oz souffle cups placed in a nice wooden board with a handle; easy for carrying. It also came with the reasonable price tag of $6. The girl working got herself a little confused scooping the flavors on the three different flights so they didn't come out quite right. Also, we were given no directive as to which flavors were which. Both of the aforementioned could be remedied with a simple, small piece of paper with 1 - 4 listing each flavor left to right. This did make the ice cream tasting more interesting trying to figure out exactly what we got. We think one of the flavors wasn't one any of us ordered. I seemed to get all the correct flavors. I tried the blubarb (strawberry rhubarb), checkerberry (wintergreen), Jamaican nutmeg and shakin' bacon. Three of the four flavors I have never seen elsewhere and I've tried a LOT of ice cream places. All of the flavors were decently creamy and tasted good with my top two being the Jamaican nutmeg and checkerberry. The checkerberry was nice and refreshing and would be great as a palate cleanser in between courses. The Jamaican nutmeg had a good amount of real nutmeg flavor and reminded me of winter time. Everyone else in my group enjoyed most of their flavors... There were two, which we're not sure which ones they were, that they were on the fence about. But, as they say, different strokes for different folks. If you're an ice cream lover, an adventurous eater or just looking for a sweet, cool treat, get yourself to Richardson Farm in Boscawen for their homemade ice cream!

I bought an apple crisp, small size about 5 by 8 for two of us. Also available ice cream, apple cider, eggs. I think they have drinks made to order, too. Open in the winter Fri, Sat & Sunday. Free seeds from last year.

Incredible staff. Cannot say more about how friendly and knowledgeable and efficient this group of…read moreemployees is. WITH THAT, this stand has continued since my own mother was a child, as an active distributor/supplier for the Manchester community of beautiful, fresh, clean, LOCAL & farm-rooted items such as, but not limited to coffee, fruit, veggies, (potato/garlic/ginger/cilantro, etc.) nuts, bread, chips, floral arrangements + by 1x stem flowers daily, dairy (milk/cream/cheese). It's unbelievable that we have this type of produce to fuel our families from such locally sourced places! FLOWERS, PLANTS, AND POTTED PLANTS - THE PRICES ARE PERFECT. Would recommend stopping by here before Home Depot if you're looking for some *In-Season* plants or flowers - potted or not. Trader Joe's is beloved, but again, local, quick, easy, and kind - stop by if you may have forgotten a lemon, and check it out for yourself. ENTREPRENEURS: Kathy & Team have seamlessly and wonderfully run this place for years -- high-achieving high schoolers (bound for success & our future) who help manage the stand continuously as the most friendly environment to stroll, with (or without) your puppy dog, you're promoting new organically created initiatives from a BUSINESS standpoint and would welcome your product on their check out aisles...ultimately, there's no other spot that can give you an authentic sense of home. THE Best for Manchester folks, and even BETTER for those passing through on a drive.
