Primarily due to the fact that I normally pick up fresh eggs from my bestie in Derry, I ended up searching for a contingency plan in the event she was already sold out on her end. Such was the case today. First, a caveat: if you're happening by this store southbound, the parking lot entrance will be the second turn on the right just past the store itself. It can be a little confusing due to the second logo sign on the side of the warehouse building which, to newcomers, may appear to be an entrance point. I have no idea if and what they keep back there (probably just extended storage), but from what I could ascertain, the main store is the smaller building in the center of it all. Naturally, the interior is (like I said) small and pretty unassuming, if I'm being entirely accurate. What you see is what you get and this is a good thing. Because everything looked pretty fresh and tasty to me. I possess neither the space nor memory to recall every last item they have here. But in addition to extra large fresh eggs, they also feature baked goods (to include my all time favorite - FUDGE!!) and real maple syrup. That's right! None of that synthetic, overly sugary crap for us true New Englanders. This, and other grocery stores like it, are the places we go when we want true, authentic maple syrup. So anyways, I was here for the eggs. Now, I may be writing this review prematurely since I haven't exactly tasted the eggs yet. But from what I can tell, this place is legit. They even have Apple and Google pay, which actually surprised me. The Yelp page didn't list this as a viable option at the time of writing this review. I will certainly be submitting an update recommendation to the powers that be. The staff were quite friendly and approachable. Didn't really stay long to chat or anything though. Those were just my first impressions. The location is tucked away, but easy to get to. It also appears they have quite the local following. So, I definitely will return. At some point, I'd really like to get my hands on that peanut butter fudge and genuine maple syrup. Can't really recommend this place any harder for picking up fresh produce and treats. Sunnycrest Farms is worthy of 5 extra large farm fresh eggs served any style out of 5.

I got some lamb sausage for a chili and it was quite tasty. There's a tiny shop that is chock full of fun items such as gorgeous sheepskins for $60.00, black or white, pricey colorful wool, sweaters, cat toys for $2, etc. Good stop for Xmas shopping. Express interest in the animals and you will probably get an impromptu tour of the farm animals including Rio, the llama who protects the sheep...for a while, anyway.

I eat plenty of eggs a week (who cares about…read morecholesterol!), and I think I have found my new source! :) Contacted Jon at Dowie Farm for 2 dozen to start off with ... which, oh by the way, is 4 lbs! :O I met him in between, and boiled a few eggs just earlier today to make some special festive bunny eggs for a get together. Thank gawd I boiled a few more... I had 3 boiled eggs to eat , which is probably equivalent to 4-5 chicken eggs! Soooo yummy = sooooooo happy! :D The yolk was rich and creamy as I last remembered (2 years ago?) and the shell is thick and strong. I approve!!!! Very nice owner to the business... he's open to delivering locally if need be! He moved from NY farmland and now living in semi-farm-like-some-areas Derry. Seems very knowledgeable and cares about his customers. He currently doesn't have stands at farmer markets... so calling is best bet or email. Hope he will expand further with other sorts like chicken eggs, veggies, etc! I will be calling or txting with my next order! PS Ducks eggs are best for baking (compared to chicken eggs, etc), but I LOVE them boiled and pan fried :D I just love eggs!
