She does this every step of the way. One time I had a follow up appointment that she had to move due to a death in the family. Of course I had no problem moving my appointment - she actually sent me a THANK YOU NOTE for accomodating her request. When was the last time you got a thank you note from a doctor? My experience here has been an absolute physical and financial nightmare. Critical Issues Faced:Severe Pain Management Neglect: During a single session, they extracted all of my teeth and placed four titanium posts in both my upper and lower jaws. They refused to prescribe any pain medication, instructing me to use only Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Because of my history with decaying teeth, I have a high tolerance to over-the-counter pain relievers. Even my primary care physician was shocked by their refusal to manage post-surgery pain and stepped in to help.Unprofessional Staff: One of the staff members was repeatedly dismissive and exhibited a highly snippy attitude when I raised concerns.Failed Restoration & Poor Bite Alignment: I specifically asked them to fix my bite before leaving. Originally I wanted to do veneers but I have a problem with my jaw that would cause the veneers to break in less then a years time. I went to many dentists that told me they will do it for me only to lie and take my money when they knew veneers wasn't an option for me. I went to another doctor that told me that I first needed to fix my jaw (possibly with invisaline) then after that was fixed veneers could be done properly. Leaving his office disappointed I told a family member about it and she instantly told me about Dr. Alathari. She told me to try Dr. Humam Alathari to see what he would say. I went to him and I told him I want veneers. Right away he told me that I'm not a canadite for veneers unless I fix the problem with my jaw. He carefully explained to me why he didn't want us to go that route and assured me that I would only be wasting my money and would not get good results. He offered me options to reach my veneers goal. The best option was to start my invisaline to fix the problems and then after the course we could do veneers if I still want them. He showed me 3D pictures and videos of my mouth before and after the invisaline. He is not looking to just take your money he wants to preform good work and he gets satisfaction out of seeing his patients good results. Usually patients constantly call their doctors for follow ups on how they are doing but Dr. Humam Alathari cares about his patients so much that he personally reaches out to them to ask them how they are doing. My mom is also a patient of Dr. Humam Alathari now. She previously had work done with another dentist over 7 years ago and they messed up and caused her to have infections that have caused her pain for years. She's been to many dentist in the last 6 years trying to fix the problem and to stop the pain but she has never found one that was able to permanently help her. Called the day before, and was told I'd be charged $100.... for a practice that has never treated me. No empathy, no communication, no professionalism. They clearly care more about collecting fees than treating patients with basic respect. Save yourself the headache- go anywhere else.
