Although this may be possible for some, in my case, there is severe bone loss making this approach very high risk. In spite of he talking directly to other specialists I found who recommended a more conservative approach, he still insisted on on what he wanted. In addition, his approach would cost me $60K compared to the conservative approach of $20K. A friend of mine went their recently because his kid chipped a tooth. Dr. Pollack wanted $5K and was extremely invasive! My friend went to another dentist and it cost about $500 and you can't even tell it was chipped.
