Andrea and her team at Greater LA Escrow were hands down the best escrow experience I've ever had. They were in constant communication through the whole transaction and never had me wondering what was going on. Their response time to phone calls and emails, along with response times on any documents needed were above par. I would highly recommend them for any of your escrow needs! read more

Nope nope nope nope nope. I had no choice as the buyer. Greater LA Escrow forgot to sign and submit forms so that the seller can get away with shady activities. By law escrow companies are supposed to represent BOTH seller AND buyer. So I guess if you want to do some illegal stuff and get away with it, this is the company to go to! Too bad it screwed me. read more

I recently worked on an escrow with Andrea representing the buyers in the transaction. One of the more stressful aspects of being a buyers agent is having no control over the escrow company you work with. I was blown away with the work ethic and response time from Andrea and I was so happy to work with her. I am a very picky and organized Realtor so I have high standards and expectations for anyone I work a transaction with. Andrea easily met those standards- she was so kind and gracious in dealing with my clients and even assisted after the fact with putting the property into a trust, a little something extra that she did not have to do but happily volunteered to help with. The entire process was made that much easier by the complete transparency and diligent work ethic of Andrea and her team, which I appreciated. Not a single item was missed and we closed right on time with even a last minute change of one of the buyers being out of the country! She helped with the power of attorney documents we needed to close with one of the clients out of the country and made what can be a stressful situation just a breeze. From start to finish Andrea was a pleasure to work with and I would happily work with her in the future and definitely recommend her as an expert in Escrow and customer relations! read more

My seller had selected this escrow, I had a horrible experience with these guys. They charged way too much for everything and had to follow up with them for all. They even didn't send closing docs and house docs after closing escrow. However they charged me upfront for sending those docs in mail. Finally got my docs after my real estate agent talking with them. So find a better escrow!!! read more

James Lough from Greater LA Escrow is super knowledgeable and helpful. I'm really glad the seller picked him to manage our escrow. Questions were quickly answered and requests were diligently resolved. I highly recommend James to manage your next escrow! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Greater LA Escrow several times. Andrea and her team are amazing. She's knowledgeable, professional, courteous and most of all very helpful! On my last transaction, we had a major problem with docs needing to get to the title company after hours, Andrea personally drove them across town on a rainy Thursday to make sure we could record the next morning! After using other escrow companies, I have found the best one. Thank you Andrea and Greater LA Escrow. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Abigail at Greater LA Escrow. I have been through many real estate transactions and almost always there is an issue here or there within the numbers and paperwork...not at all with Abigail. She is extremely sharp and beyond that, very helpful and responsive (key when you're working against deadlines). read more

My name is Rich, I'm writing on behalf of my mom, she wanted to write a letter to Greater LA Escrow, but I felt writing a Yelp review would be better served. Speaking of better service, my mom was so impressed with the service at Greater LA Escrow, we needed to let others know. She finally after years of wanting to buy a house, became a home owner! She was scared and hesitant, but most of all not understanding the process and stressed out! Andrea, her escrow officer sat down with her on day one, explaining what to expect every step of the way. Since my mom is elderly she still prefers calls over emails. Andrea was kind enough to call her every week or whenever necessary to give her an update, she made my mom at ease, her friendly yet professional attitude was much appreciated. It's nice to see there are still people who care about their customers! You will be getting my business when I'm ready to buy a house too. Andrea thank you, thank you!!! read more

As a Broker/Owner of my firm, I thought it was time to write a review coz I have been working with Greater LA Escrow for several years now. I have been in the Real Estate business for a long time and have worked with many escrow companies but none come close to Greater LA Escrow. Lots of them have officers who have long experiences and knowledge, but not much out there in addition provide excellent service. I must say service is very much lacking in our industry and I myself provide good and fast service to my clients and expect my vendors to do the same. Greater LA Escrow does just that 7 days a week. Keep up the good work! you have my business 100%. read more

Andrea and team are really great. Use them for all my escrows. On time, organized, knowledgeable.

Lots of Illegal deals happens in this place, I ended up losing 25 Thousand dollars because they did not disclose it to me until after the escrow was closed. use a more reputable escrow to save yourself trouble read more

I am a Loan Processor in Burbank, CA and I have been using GLA Escrow for over 4 years now and I must say, they set the bar pretty high for the rest of the escrow companies out there. Andrea and Jessica are extremely efficient, knowledgeable and most importantly...FAST! If you are looking for a new escrow company to use; I would definitely recommend giving Andrea at Greater LA Escrow a call. You WILL NOT be disappointed!! read more

We used Greater L.A. Escrow on the sale of our home. Our escrow officer Abigail was excellent. She handled things quickly and efficiently and made the process easy for us. It was a quick escrow so things needed fast handling and she and her company did a great job closing on time. Would highly recommend using them for your home selling process. read more

I love working with James. He is one of the easiest escrow officers to work with! Communication is quick. You can count on him to get the deal done. I definitely recommend him! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Without question the worst escrow company I've ever dealt with and one of the least professional, most disorganized and sloppy companies of any kind I've worked with. They "handled" escrow for my new home and their errors nearly caused the transaction to fall through MULTIPLE TIMES. They literally weren't following parts of the deal and key issues, use outdated modes of technology, are not responsive, do not communicate clearly or accurately and missed several key steps. And best of all, the documents they sent me included somebody else's personal financial information which of course left me wondering: who has received MY information? We are 45 days AFTER closing and I'm still untangling mistakes they made on simple basic stuff. If your agent or the other side's agent wants to use Greater LA Escrow - fight like hell to get them to use a different one. And if you end up stuck there and are assigned Martha -- demand that someone else manage your escrow. Your purchase/sale is legitimately at risk with this company. read more
