I would like to recognize the outstanding office team that supported us throughout the sale of our home. Breanna was incredibly helpful with all of the administrative work, documents, signatures, disclosures, and scheduling. Selling a home involves a tremendous amount of paperwork, and she always stayed organized, responsive, and patient. Whenever we had questions, she took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, making the process much less stressful. Zoe was wonderful throughout the marketing and transaction process. She helped coordinate open houses, inspections, photography appointments, walkthroughs, and many other important details. She was always professional, friendly, and dependable. No matter how busy things became, she never hesitated to answer questions and explain the next steps in detail. What impressed me most about the entire team was their professionalism, communication, and willingness to help. Every interaction was pleasant, and everyone treated us with respect and genuine care. It truly felt like we had a team of experienced professionals guiding us every step of the way. The success of a real estate transaction depends on much more than just the agent, and Dennis's office staff deserves recognition for the excellent service they provide behind the scenes. We are very grateful for all of their hard work and support throughout our home-selling journey. read more

Our second transaction with Dennis and his team at The Agency was exceptional! Dennis, Breanna, and Marlin prioritized our family's needs, placing personalized advice at the forefront of every step. They fought diligently to secure the best deal and provided clear, supportive guidance throughout the process ....and of course, answered our never ending questions. We know exactly who to call for our real estate needs and highly recommend their dedicated and professional services! read more

We had a privilege to work with Sarrah - she is phenomenal! We met at the private showing in the first house we toured with my husband and ended up purchasing! Not only was she knowledgeable and accommodating but extremely efficient and responsive whether it's a daytime or weekend evenings. She made a whole process like a walk in the park. We originally haven't been picked from a pool of offers but she structured the offer the way that put us in a first backup position which ended up happening as the escrow with original buyer fell through. We are so grateful that we were able to work with her on it because no matter the question, Sarrah knew the answers, gave extremely valuable tips that worked, and hooked us up with best inspectors and lender possible. Thank you Sarrah for making our dream home become a reality we live in. We are your clients forever now! read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my Mother In Law, Yadira B. I'd like to thank Steven Ejoifor, Helen Hillo and the Chernov team for all of the help and support given to my Mother In Law in the sale of her home. They went above and beyond with kindness, compassion, and patience. They took great care in explaining all details involved when it comes to the sale of a home. I'm very grateful. Thank you very much! This is a wonderful group of knowledgeable realtors and I highly recommend them for any realty needs. read more

We recently worked with Barrington Malcolm from Chernov Team in purchasing our new home, and we highly recommend him in all aspects. From the beginning, Barrington demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and dedication. Throughout the entire process, Barrington was always available to answer our questions AT ANY HOUR and provided detailed information about the home and invaluable insights into the local area. Barrington went above and beyond in coordinating inspections and handling all the paperwork with ease. His excellent communication skills kept us informed at every step, making the entire experience essentially stress-free. Barrington also has a friendly demeanor and positive attitude that made the home-buying journey a pleasant one. Also, Barrington has a tremendous network of contractors and trade professionals in the Sherman Oaks / North Hollywood area that we leveraged for all our additional home projects - whether our residential or rental homes. If looking for a realtor who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, I would go with Barrington. He is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. We are incredibly grateful for his assistance and couldn't be happier with our new home. read more

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Barrington from the Chernov Team to purchase our new home as well as sell our primary residence and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, Barrington was professional and truly went above and beyond to help us find the perfect home. He took the time to understand our needs and preferences, and was always available to answer my questions and address any concerns I had throughout the process . He was very hands on with both transactions. His expertise in the local real estate market was evident. He made sure all the inspections were done correctly and that all the changes or updates needed were completed. We really had no concerns because he made sure to communicate with us and simplify anything we didn't understand. Not only did Barrington help me find a home that checked all our boxes and I mean all of them, but he also negotiated a great deal on our behalf for our purchase and sale!! I highly recommend Barrington to anyone in search of a dedicated, trustworthy, and knowledgeable real estate agent. Pick Wesley Edberg as your agent! Been searching to buy a house the past few years, and so glad to have a chance to work with Wesley as our agent. From the start, he was a cut above other agents I've worked with. Incredibly responsive, professional, and most importantly knows how to ask selling agents all the right questions and that allowed better information to inform me if the property was a quality listing or not. Wesley helped us first time buyers out through the whole process, giving easy to follow deadlines, Dos and Don'ts and reminded which forms needed to be signed. Communication was A+. I could email, text, or call seemingly any time of the day and got a response back immediately. I would recommend Wesley to my friends and colleagues, and I would easily choose him again when it comes time for me to sell! read more

Have received numerous soliciting phone calls from this office as they attempt to get our home as a listing. I've explained more than once, over the phone and in text message, that we are not interested and yet they continue to call. They even had the audacity to send a low ball offer to our house. There is absolutely NO respect for homeowners, they are just concerned about collecting their commission check! Totally not appreciated and extremely disappointing. read more

Dennis and the whole team were amazing! They made the whole process easy and comfortable, holding our hands every step of the way. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! read more

We had the pleasure of being introduced to Dennis back in 2017 when we bought our home in the Valleyheart neighborhood of Sherman Oaks. We were a young couple looking to move "over the hill" as we were expecting our first child. Dennis was the selling agent and a family member represented us as the buyer's agent. From day one Dennis was a staunch professional. We were a contingent sale offer so not highly desirable but Dennis was able to see our commitment to the purchase and worked with the sellers to accept our offer. The purchase was incredibly smooth and our agent kept expressing how impressed he was working with Dennis. FYI - it's not always common for the seller and buyer's agent to get along so well and have such high respect for one another ;) We lived in that beautiful home for the last 7 years, expanding from a family of 2 to a family of 4. Post pandemic we found ourselves also working from home and needing two offices. We tossed around the idea of moving but loved our house so much - we really stated looking for fun. Somewhat on a whim we attended an open house at a beautiful new construction property in Encino earlier this year. Our family member has retired from real estate and we didn't have an agent, but wanted to explore the idea of making an offer more seriously. We reached out to another friend of a friend in the biz who is very well known in the reality TV world of real estate. We simultaneously reached out to Dennis based on our prior experience with him. It was night and day! Dennis got back to us almost immediately, even after having little/no communication over the last 7 years. He also had very clever ideas about how to structure the potential purchase as we were carrying two existing mortgages (a rental and our existing primary - both with attractive interest rates). Dennis gave us an honest opinion of the property and asking price, instructing us he believed it to be overvalued and not in a desirable location. Six months later he was proven correct as the price has dropped by almost $1million! He also believed going from a 2,800 sq ft home to a 7,500 sq ft would be too large of a leap (spoiler alert - we are now in a 5,000 sq ft house so he was 100% correct... again). Although he didn't believe it would be the best fit for us, Dennis entertained our dreams of purchasing this house and scheduled a viewing for us to see it for a third time. It was at this viewing that we were able to meet the builder and learn about another property he had in a more desirable area, of more reasonable size, and much more realistic in terms of price. We toured the property numerous times while under construction and through his guidance made an offer market offer that was accepted with ease. There were a number of challenges that presented themselves in the final months to closing but Dennis always kept us informed and updated, proactively reaching out to check in. I can't even count the number of times he took us to see the house while we were in escrow! We could feel his genuine desire to ensure we were confident in our decision through the whole process. While in escrow on the new house, we toggled back and forth about selling or renting our existing house. Dennis gave us comps and reassured us he would help us with either decision. Two weeks leading up to the close of our purchase he asked if a client of another agent on his Team could tour the house, as he felt it could be a good fit for them. Turns out it was and they made us an off market offer. Not having to prep/stage and market our house while dealing with moving into our new house lifted so much off our shoulders! The buyers closed early and the sense of relief was immediate. There is no way we could have accomplished so much on these two transactions without Dennis and his vast network. Between his Team who was available at all hours to coordinate logistics (thank you Breanna, Melanie and Nicole), to his relationship with builders and other buyers, we could not have asked for a better partner. read more

We listed our first development/investment property with Sarrah Gallegos and Dennis Chernov. I am going to keep this short and simple with a small shameless plug at the end! They are legitimately a TEAM and not just a brokerage/agent. Dennis has put together a team that can handle any task and Sarrah is the best agent we could have possibly asked for. I can keep going on and on about the different ways they helped sell, promote, navigate, and all else things in the home selling process. All I will say is that they secured a record setting sale with our home which is all we could have possibly asked for! SHAMELESS PLUG, you can see the build/sale/whole process on our YT channel "SE FSU". read more

A huge THANK YOU to Sarrah for selling our home this year! We were faced with the difficulty of having to quickly sell our home since we were on a time crunch to buy a home in another state. Sarah was phenomenal throughout the entire process as she went above and beyond for our family. Not only did she sell our home ABOVE asking price, but she even helped connect us with another agent within her company in the state we were moving to. This way, both our home selling and buying experience was seamless and speedy. Sarah and her team went above and beyond for our family and we can't thank you enough! They even sent us a thank you basket after escrow closed, which was so sweet and thoughtful. From the high quality photos/videos taken by her team to her professional open houses and communication skills with the buyers' team, she was very awesome throughout the entire process! We will recommend her to any one looking to sell their home in the LA area. THANK YOU SARRAH! You're the best. read more

selling my house through the chernov team is the biggest regret of my life. Dennis was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He played games and lied about our listing price. Ended up selling our home in a booming market for $300k under asking and under Zillow estimate. Lost our favorite offer by refusing to customize a response. instead he insisted on playing a game with the other offers and it back fired. I had to involve a real estate friend and lawyer to coach Dennis and his team to save the sale. He was very discourteous the entire time. I've written this review twice now and he keeps having it removed. Do your research, this team is bad. read more

Sarrah Gallegos was truly an amazing agent for the entire home buying process! From the very start, she was very in tune with what we were looking for and showed us so many properties. She answered all of our questions at literally any time of day, and worked relentlessly to find us our dream home. Once we were in escrow, she fought and protected us - we were in such great hands. Plus, she's such an absolute pleasure to spend time with! We plan to use Sarrah for any future real estate endeavors, and would recommend her to anyone in the home-buying process! read more

Let me preface this review by saying I have had 2 previous real estate agents in the past. I just assumed all agents had the same low level of work ethic and enthusiasm until I worked with Sarrah with the Chernov team. She went above and beyond what I expected, sent me homes I was actually interested in purchasing and had a super quick response time when I had any questions. She was very patient with me asking 1 million questions and always maintained a positive attitude. She was always doing things for my best interest, not just what was going to make her the most money which is so rare nowadays. I recommend her to anyone that is interested in buying or selling, she's truly awesome! read more

Best. Team. Ever! I could literally leave it at that but I won't. Dennis, Kevin and his entire team are such superstars. They guided us so brilliantly on the sale of our home and concurrent purchase of our new home. Their expertise from listing pricing, photos, social and marketing was the best of the best I've ever seen. I've been involved in at least 15 real estate transactions over the past 15 years and they were the most professional and easiest I've ever worked with. Do not even consider anyone else. Thanks to Dennis Chernov and the entire Chernov Team, I sold my house quickly and smoothly at top price and found my new home in this tough market of bidding wars and over asking offers. We met Hovik Pakhanyan of the Chernov Team at an open house he was holding in Encino. While we didn't get that house (lost out to an NBA star with lots of cash), Hovik assured he could sell our house quickly and find us the home of our dreams. We had a feeling this guy could deliver what he promised, and he did that and more. We didn't want to list on MLS and have a lot of people traipsing through our house, so Hovik and his team brought in six qualified buyers, and we had a deal at our desired price within a week. Not only that, but they found a buyer who was willing to wait until we found a new house. In a tough winter market, it took us about four months to find our dream house. Hovik managed to get us in to see a house that was just about to hit the market. The minute we walked in, we knew this was the one. Somehow, he managed to get the sellers to accept our offer and not show it to anyone else (beating out many other high powered brokers). From the time we saw the house until the day we moved in, it was exactly 31 days. Hovik and the Chernov Team were with us every step of the way, and made the process go smoothly and efficiently. We gladly and highly recommend Hovik and the Chernov Team to anyone looking for their dream home. read more

After working with the Chernov Team to sell my home, it is obvious why they are top year after year. The entire process was seamless! Thanks to everyone at The Chernov Team. They are called The Chernov Team not "Dennis Chernov" because you get an exceptional team. A team that works 24/7 to help sell your house (I'm sure they're just as diligent when helping you buy). Selling a house is stressful and there's a million moving parts. That's why you need a team with an effective leader to make sure your house is presented in the best possible way, that every showing is professional. When you get your offer the deal gets closed. If it doesn't close I'm confident in saying it's not because of something The Chernov Team did or didn't do. If you're concerned like I was that these guys have so many deals they'll be too busy for you, fear not, these guys work equally hard for all their clients.
