Jason is a fantastic realtor! After being told with *very* little notice that our long term rental…read morehome was not going to be renewed due to the owner's intention to sell, I had to scramble to find a new place. I was in such a stressful spot... I found a rental home that I really liked and wanted to check out. Friends recommended that I reach out to Jason Heffron who had helped them navigate a couple of sales and purchases in the neighborhood. I didn't know if he would be amenable to futzing around with a small potatoes transaction but he showed up within 10 minutes with a smile on his face and a ton of ATX knowledge. Well, as these things happen, that rental was not the one and he helped me evaluate property after property until I came across a place that would be perfect for me...except it was for sale not for rent. The best laid plans of mice and men, am I right? The house had everything - a great lot, a great pool, a great aesthetic, a great layout and it had not yet hit the market. I wanted it bad. So, I decided to buy. As luck would have it, Jason's great reputation within the community and prior professional contacts and warranted reputation as a reliable straight shooter allowed me to get it under contract the *day* before it hit the market with no icky wrangling. There is no way this transaction would have happened off-market without his stellar rep for getting things done and getting things done right. I was soooo grateful. He has a great staff and team to make it all happen, too. He was a pleasure to work with, got me my ideal Austin digs, and it all started with him being rad and going the extra mile with me when some others might have found my call annoying or not worth their time.

Dave is the best!!…read more My husband and I were in the market for an investment property in the Austin area, but we live out of state so we were a little worried about finding the right agent who would not only understand our vision, but also be our biggest advocate (especially given we are out of state clients). Let me tell ya, Dave was everything we had hoped for and MORE! We interviewed many different agents in the Austin area who specialize in working with investors, but Dave hands down blew the rest of the competition out of the water. From the very first time we spoke with Dave, we were extremely impressed with his market knowledge, real estate experience, enthusiasm and transparency. It was clear that he truly cares about his clients, and we knew right away that we were going to be in good hands. Being fairly new to real estate investing, we needed a lot of hand holding though this process and Dave made sure that we understood exactly what was happening every step of the way. The property listings he sent us were right in line with what we were hoping to find, each with a cash flow analysis so we knew that these were deals would be good investments. Dave ended up finding us literally EXACTLY what we were looking for within our budget (when the other agents we interviewed told us we would not be able to find). Yea Dave!! We felt comfortable enough to put in an offer on the property without actually seeing it in person, which in itself is a testament to Dave's communication skills and trustworthiness. From the initial offer through negotiations with the seller and beyond, Dave hustled on our behalf and we could not be happier! Another thing that sets Dave apart from the rest is his service. We live on the west coast (two hours behind) and often work late or are traveling, but Dave always made time for us and never made us feel as though we were a bother. We even were on an international trip a few days before closing (ha... ) but Dave was working on our behalf the entire time, ccing us in on emails to let us know things were getting taken care of. If you are looking for a rockstar genuine agent who provides 5 star service and will hustle on your behalf, Dave is your guy. We know who we will call the next time we are looking to purchase in the Austin area! Thank you Dave for all that you do! Kassy&Dan

We were referred by a friend to work with Tom and we are very happy we decided to work with him. We moved into Austin, TX from out of state and as new comers to the area Tom was a perfect person to work with. While we were shopping for neighbourhoods and houses he also introduced us to the city of Austin and let us know about many events, restaurants, and places the locals prefer. Working with him is a great way to acclimate to Austin and you also get a house in process. It's a great deal. He is well connected and it is a valuable thing to be part of his network in Austin. Whenever we needed to find a professional to help with anything we would ask Tom and he would guide us to the best people around. He is very direct and honest in telling you why the house you are looking at is or is not a good house to buy. In fact, he talked us out of several houses that we wanted to buy and once we were done with house buying we ended up with a house that we are much happier with than some of the earlier houses we thought we wanted. So he is not in a hurry to sell you a house and get get paid. He wants to make sure you get the right house above all else. He also knows very well how the system works and what needs to be done to get your offer to be the top offer when you do find the house you want. He makes great effort to be the preferred buyers agent to work with for the seller's side and give you the best chances of getting your house. It was a great experience working with him even in the frustrating Austin housing market where inventory does not meet the demand for the number of buyers.

We connected through a Homes.com search--ran filters for realtors with the highest volume of buy & sell transactions over the last five years--and he was at the top of our list. We had a few referrals from our network, but Chris was incredibly responsive, and our first call was solid. Long story long, we moved to Austin around that time, and Chris was there from the very start. He's direct in the kindest sense of the word, and he 1000% loves what he does. He figured out what we liked and didn't like, but that honestly didn't matter much because we had no idea where we wanted to live. Throughout the holidays, we went into escrow--then had to pull our offer days before closing due to the inspection. Chris's response? "If you guys want to change directions, we can start looking for new properties tomorrow." This was after he spent two hours inspecting the place himself, pushing the builder to add new gutters, fix the lawn's grading, and leading the blue tape charge on 3,500 square feet. Later, he talked us through properties that looked great in person but wouldn't appraise on paper, and ultimately, he helped us land the perfect place. Frankly, the guy knows every aspect of a real estate transaction inside and out. I don't know if he's so well off that time doesn't matter, but he had to lose money on us. He over-invests, and odds are, you'll make a good friend in the process--like we did. There are a bunch of other stories that highlight Chris's dedication, the depth of his network, and how ridiculously motivated he is. He's an awesome negotiator, incredibly patient, and an even better person.

Most agents are eager to close a deal, but he took the time to truly understand my situation and gave me advice that wasn't in their own immediate interest--they actually told me not to sell.
