Had to contact them at least 4 times before I finally got a response - a phone number for Powermatic. Contacting Powermatic, I was told Ultimate Tools is the distributor and thus has to deal with it. I received a single possible solution (replacement board), which did not fix the issue. It is now April/22 (about 4-5 months since my initial contact), and I'm still without a working air filter. Powermatic has not returned a single of my 5-6 voicemails, and getting a reply from Ultimate Tools is not much better. I'd understand if I bought a $20 fan, but this is a $1000 air filter. I don't say this lightly - STAY AWAY!!!!!

Where do I start? Installing a pool is like doing a house renovation. There are many moving…read more parts, many things to consider outside of the original goal, and licenses and permits through the roof to deal with too. And that is why it is critical to have an excellent working relationship with the contractors. In this case, ARIA. From the first moment I met the team, I felt comfortable. They understood what I wanted, and how fast I wanted it, and were willing to work within the very strict parameters of the site itself and my often quite strong demands. The team behind them, especially the project manager, Jen and the site manager James, went out of their way to find solutions and to accommodate my wishes. This was not an easy build. It was on an existing property and had no rear access. So everything came down the side of the house, and for the pool (fiberglass) itself, OVER the house! That was an incredible sight. Note that damage to existing structures is inevitable but miraculously only a bit of concrete was cracked due to the weight of one of the trucks. Aria repaired it without a thought even though it wasn't their error. The digging of the pool started mid-February and by June 1st I was swimming in it and that included the landscaping. There were a lot of hiccups along the way especially with the sub trades but every time I needed them, ARIA showed up, or chased people down. This was an outstanding level of customer service and customer care and I'm grateful to my son who found them in the first place. Because there are so many components to the construction of a pool, especially mine, I can't give the process a 5 out of 5 stars, but can I give the company 5 out of 5 for truly working hard to make me happy at a reasonable price. Their staff are all super pleasant and they did a great job of keeping me updated on every step of the way. They came back to make sure to train me on how to use all the equipment and when I have found any issues they are back within the week to have them fixed. They were the one and only pool install company that got back to me during the late covid pool install / construction craze. Most telling me they wouldn't even be able to quote me for a year after my call. Pro west showed up to take a look at my yard and provided a quote they were able to stick to. They started my pool install before the other companies said they would be able to quote. They handled everything from getting my permits in place to getting them closed. They knew what the city would require so I was able to have everything passed on first inspection. When I have any questions, they are only a text away, from pre construction through construction and now a year out. My pool is a liner pool and the liner install causes about 24 hours of a noisy pump while the pool fills to hold the liner in place. That upset neighbours, but Pro West was able to explain to the neighbours and showed up with gift cards as an apology to them as well. I have other neighbours with pools who said "oh, we should have warned you, we totally expected that" so it's not just pro wests's pump its all liner pools. Pro west also set me up with a landscaping company to help me design the yard around the pool. They were able to communicate and work together with that landscaper all the way through the project. I highly recommend prowest pools, Thank you Ken, Tyler and Kris and their crew for a fantastic job.

Last summer we had a period of very dry weather when ProWest was installing a pool across the street. I just had my windows cleaned and paid $500. We had a light wind storm and I noticed that beside not watering the dirt to keep down the dust they also left all the loose dirt uncovered causing havoc to my home. I went across the street to speak to the workers and they said they cannot water down because it is just to much work with all the drought. I asked if they would at least cover the pile of dirt because my screens and windows were covered with dust. Later we had a horrific wind storm that blew over to my home. Some of my windows were so dirty with dust it looked like my windows were not cleaned for several years. I asked my neighbor to approach the pool company for compensation to have my windows re-cleaned and the owner advised that they cannot be responsible for the neighborhood. I do not understand that a company can do work and not take responsibility for the damage they do. After paying a whopping $500 for the season I had to look at filthy windows for the entire winter until this spring when I could clean my windows and not worry about Pro West Pools. I would not use a company that had no respect for the neighborhood they are working in.
