In my update, I was going to describe them as rude. But a better description is downright hateful. Especially the woman who is always taking orders. They did add a plastic sheet to help with the spread of Covid. It's being held in place with buckets of water. If you can get past the hate she seems to have for all living beings, the food can be found decent. read more

Doesn't look like much. Got take out for Christmas. Only 2 people were working because of the holiday, I felt bad for them. We called in our order and it took a while. They were very busy but the food was really good. The lo mein was delicious. read more

Great Wall - Sweet and sour chicken meal and General Tsos Chicken. - Chinese Near Me - Graham, North Carolina

The best take-out in the area. The lady might seem snappy but that is just her personality. The food is amazing! I have never had anything bad here. Their Pu Pu Platter is awesome. The sauce they give for the steamed/fried dumplings can't be beat. read more

It is takeout. Food was cooked when ordered and was hot. I was very hungry. Sat in the car to eat. Chicken in the dish I ordered didn't look right. Thin pieces and correct color. Texture and taste not chicken breast. Maybe processed chicken. It tasted weird. I threw the chicken in the trash. I will not go there again. Much better Chinese restaurants in Graham to go for a meal. read more

The food is incredible!! My favorite food is there honey chicken & crab Rangoon. It's take out only but it's well worth the trip.

Not sure of the great reviews regarding taste but I ordered the general tso chicken. It is typical of most Chinese places you go to. A small sliver of 20% dark meat chicken battered with the rest of the 80% breading. As an avid cook, this is impossible to achieve this breading method without it being frozen. The sauce had the typical KARO syrup you would find in a bottle. The fried rice was ok and the broccoli was the only unprocessed non frozen item on my plate. The lady was a little short but I was fine with her. She had moments of pleasantness and I was un-deterred. As another pointed out regarding the space, it felt like a plastic enclosed Covid terrarium and reminded me of the nightmare of 2020. If you like processed fast Chinese food, save yourself a few bucks and hit the frozen section of your nearest grocery store. read more

The food here is amazing and the egg rolls are to die for!! If you're looking for a place to chit chat with the staff, you should probably go somewhere else. The staff aren't being rude, they are just focusing on their work and there is a language barrier to keep in mind. If you want great Chinese food with a good amount for your money, you should go here! read more

Great Wall - General Tso's Chicken and Egg Roll - Chinese Near Me - Graham, North Carolina

I love this place. The food is almost always amazing and feels authentic. Their crab rangoon is to die for! There isn't a place to sit and eat; it's takeout. I definitely recommend this place. read more

The lady taking my order was incredibly rude, and was rushing both me and my sister to get us out of her store. When the total she told me didn't make sense, I tried to ask her to elaborate and she yelled at me and called me stupid. Will not be back. The food was bland, the rice was old, the chicken was chewy, and I didn't get my drinks. Will not be back. read more

My first time eating here was last night and I must say... I'M IMPRESSED.! The Sesame Chicken & rice was delicious!! Even the brocolli was spot on. I will be ordering again read more

They make great Chinese food! I've loved almost every meal I received a great wall. There sesame chicken is pretty amazing. Plus, the lady at the counter is kind. They deserve tips because they stay busy for being a two person show! read more

We've been ordering from Great Wall since they opened, I believe. About 24 years ago. The food is excellent and they have always accommodated the Vegetarians in my house. What people view as rudeness is a language barrier. The lady does'nt make small talk, it makes her nervous and they stay very busy and are always focused on Work. My oldest went to school with their kids. They came from a Communist Government that only allows one child and it's the male that cares for the Elderly parents. So they came from a world away with nothing and worked day and night to have a business, home and put 3 kids(2 are female)through College and did it the "LEGAL WAY" and for the love of their children! They have'nt taken any handouts, just worked very hard for all they have but there are always those that love to tear them down. Many go in for food then gripe and moan expecting everything for free. God says if you don't work, you don't eat! I am in no way related to them and a even a quarter of a Century later, I still don't know any of they names but they are good, honest, hard-working Americans. And they know us. Sandra read more

Best Chinese food in alamance county. The lady up front can be very short with you but that is because they are so busy all the time.

I have been visiting this Chinese restaurant for over 20 years. The lady that runs the restaurant is very fast but short, sweet, and to the point. I have seen people describe her as rude or mean, but that is not accurate. She may come across as having a short temper, but people need to realize that this is part of their culture. I have watched as the children have grown up, helped in the restaurant, and now are gone, probably off at school. The whole family works hard to keep the business a success. For me, I think they set a good example for other businesses. Everytime I order food there, they knows what sauces I like, even if I haven't been in months they always gets the order correct. If I order chow mein they always ask if I know the chow mein and lo mein are different. This to me is good customer service. I would gues that ignorant customers have had temper tantrums in the past because they ordered incorrectly and then took it out on the staff. Everyone that has given this restaurant a bad review needs to understand that takeout Chinese is not supposed to taste like PF Changs. Just like a McDonalds cheese burger doesn't taste like a home grilled cheese burger. And the portions of food are plenty big for any normal person. I am not a skinny person by far and the portions are always big enough. As far as scallops, you would be crazy to expect "real scallops" from any take out Chinese restaurant if they are less than 6 dollars. And any reasonable person would not expect brewed tea in a take out Chinese restaurant. This is Alamance county for goodness sake. And for the complaints that it is 90 degrees in the lobby, so what! If you are there it's not like you are sitting down to eat. You go in, pickup your order and leave. Why waste energy to heat and cool a lobby where people are in and out the door constantly. Hats off to Great Wall, heres to 20 + more years. read more

This place has the rudest service I've seen. The first time I went I thought maybe it was just a bad day. I decided to give it another try. BAD mistake. You will get what I mean when you visit this place. They food portions are a ripoff. Definitely would NOT recommend. read more

Best Chinese food around, order whatever you want, it's all good. My fav is orange chicken, spicy, and crab rangoons.. Delish

They've got all the standards and they do them pretty well. I've had chicken with broccoli and general Tsos chicken and it was all good. It's not a high-end restaurant, but for carry out, you can't beat it! read more

Food was good and came very fast. Lots of different specials to choose from. Crab rangoon was very good.

Went here because I remembered it being really good, but was really let down. My boyfriend and I ordered the large pepper steak and were disappointed to find that the meal was mainly onions and green peppers with very little actual steak. Will not return. read more

The best egg rolls around!!!! Good food! Just 2 of them that work there, and they work there asses off! If you need to be babied then probably should go somewhere else! There there to serve you good food at a decent price at a decent pace! Great wall is the option for me in graham! read more

Worst Chinese resturant! It's is nasty and not clean at all in there. The fact that while I was ordering my food the man was blowing his nose and I never saw him wash his hands is disgusting. While I was ordering the rude lady buts in because her husband didn't seem to understand me after I told her what I wanted for like the sixth time she was so rude and said more vegetables you need I kept telling her no vegetables. I know am not that fit but why break it to me like that. Will never going back again. read more

We must've went on a bad day. This is THE worst chinese food I've ever had. I had the Four Seasons, it's not that it tasted bad...it had no taste at all. No seasoning whatsoever. My husband got the fried scallops. As soon as he opened it I told him they looked like something from the frozen food aisle at the grocery store and they tasted like fish sticks. We knew this place was take-out only, but we did not know the area where you wait was going to be about 90 degrees. They also only have tea in a can. I hate to be negative about everything and especially the person that waited on us, but she was not friendly. We won't be going back. read more

First order for lo mein was overcharged! Second time asked for spicy (chili) didn't get it! Third and ...last time... I explicitely asked for szechuan shredded chicken with szechuan cabbage, the lady said yes I know number 4. Drive home and found out this time she gave me some sort of sliced chicken with mixed veggies like chop suey. Drove back and they offered to put some szechuan sauce on it, then claimed "no, no shredded chichen!." Long story short what a hassle and bad attitude Buyers Beware of what you get and check your receipt and food. NOT RECOMMENDED!! read more

Bad, just bad. The only redeeming quality the polite attitude of the cashier. I would really not recommend this to anyone.
