8/2026. Food has gone down hill and the prices on the menu are not correct. Each time I order the same thing the price is different. When I asked the owner she said "just understand." read more

Love the food, great prices, and good amount as well! I my favorites are the beef and broccoli, house lo mein or just the shrimp lo mein! Love and the egg rolls are great as well ! Must try ! Fast service and nice clean quiet place. read more

So, I haven't had Chinese since moving to Burlington 3 years ago. I had a wonderful place in Raleigh that sadly didn't survive COVID. I have been craving for a while and so today for lunch, thought I'd give in to the craving. Now, full disclosure, I got delivery today. I have a few meetings I can't miss so I relied on a delivery service. I don't think it had anything to do with the food quality though. I ordered general tso's combo plate with a veggie roll. Additionally I ordered veggie lomein for tomorrow, more on this in a bit. The dish looked like Generals chicken, but had a weird smell. I tried a piece of chicken and was put off by a chewiness one doesn't expect with chicken. I thought it was just that piece so I tried another. Nope, gross chewy texture. The sauce wasn't spicy at all, but sticky sweet. Also, the rice had a very weird flavor. Blech. So much for that craving. The egg roll was actually pretty good if somewhat soft. The flavor was pretty decent. This is where we come back to the lomein. A single egg roll and 2 pieces of chicken aren't really enough so I was very grateful I ordered an additional dish. Sadly, the lomein was seriously soupy. Just over flowing with soy sauce. Just ..gross. Well, it's not the best health wise so I'm glad for the result. I am now completely off Chinese food. read more

This restaurant has the most delicious sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. Thank you, Cindy, for the meal you prepared for me today, Christmas day. read more

I love this restaurant because the owner is friendly and the hot & sour soup (my favorite) is good here. The dining area is chill too. read more

Yum Yum's - 21. Plain Fried Rice 17. Hot and Sour Soup H19. Chicken with Orange Flavor - Chinese Near Me - Mebane, North Carolina

I love yum yum's the food and customer service is always amazing, friendly atmosphere, everyone is always smiling and welcoming

I NEVER write reviews but I just threw away two whole containers of sesame chicken it's literally inedible. Every single piece I tried was stringy and dark brown--can confidently say it's not chicken, or extremely old multiple times frozen chicken. It's absolutely awful. Do not eat here, plenty of other edible Chinese restaurants in town. read more

I don't understand what the bad reviews are for. I think someone was just childish however, This place is great, not only are they local to where we are staying but they are so damn friendly and with the people you see working in restaurants it's a really nice change to see a friendly happy workers that are preparing my dinner. The food was brilliant we had the shrimp rolls, House Lo Mein and the happy Family, it was all cooked well and tasteful. I will definitely go back. Thank you for our dinner tonight and hope it cools down for you both. read more

Unfriendly, openly arguing with one another. The chicken wings had a funny smell. The rice and egg foo young was tasteless. Honestly, I wanted to ask for my money back. read more

We have eater here one other time 3 years ago and decided to try again. Got soup and an egg roll for lunch. Would rank them both 3-4 out of 10. Had to wait 30 min for the food and the man and woman working appeared to be arguing the entire time. The bathroom was closed- sign indicated it was not working. The noodles for soup were very stale. The soup was hot which is the best we can say about this meal. Never again.... read more

See all

Service with fast & the food with great! We decided to eat in, it clean & comfortable.

I love Yum Yum's! Their fried donuts are the best dessert i've ever had and my kid loves their chicken nuggets. Crab Rangoon is to die for and the egg rolls are so soft and savory. I go quite often so the owner knows me and she's just the nicest person, along with the kid that helps out! It's in a bit of a sketch place in mebane but i feel safe in there, it's awesome. read more

My wife and I are new to the area and really wanted Chinese so we took a chance on Yum Yum's and it was amazing! Food was hot and fresh, service was good and food was amazing. Will definitely be back read more

I have been enjoying this restaurant for a number of years ! The owners and their children are all great to deal with and are always going the extra mile for the customer !!! We always come to Yum Yum's when we are getting Chinese food! The family is so friendly, and we love all their options. Their sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon, and the hot and sour soup are my favorites! The meals are affordable and the portions are great for having leftovers. I also love how the store looks after they were able to do the renovations! Yum Yum's is a staple and I always recommend it to anybody looking for Chinese food near Mebane. read more

Husband gets cold sesame noodles here since it's the only restaurant that has it. The problem is the owner grunts loudly when you speak to him. Not friendly in the least. Wanted to try eating here but with his attitude, we just eat at home. read more

Other than the extremely rude customer service, I received disgusting fatty beef (in beef and broccoli), and a black burnt egg roll. Will not be going back. read more

Always delicious, from wings to crab rangoons with real crab meat, to the meals, it's higher quality and cooked better than any other place around! Absolutely love this place and the owners! read more

I order food from here quite often, and the staff are friendly to boot! I definitely would recommend it if you are looking for some good takeout. read more

It's hard finding a good/decent Chinese restaurant in Mebane. I love good Chinese food and for a short while I thought yum yum was it....until I had an horrible experience. I usually order broccoli and chicken. It's usually fresh and has the perfect balance of chicken and broccoli. You get a lot of food and the price is very inexpensive...Well this night my order was completely wrong and the broccoli was mushy. I tried to switch out the food but wasn't successful. The cashier was rude and totally disrespectful! I won't be returning anytime soon. Yum yum is located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking and it's easy to locate. read more

Just got home with my sesame chicken. It smelled amazing, it looked delicious but it was actually rock hard fried bits of batter. I can't tell if there's any chicken in there. I literally used a steak knife to cut a couple into bite size chunks and I really couldn't tell. It tasted ok but was seriously too hard to chew. I can say the sauce was delicious but geez! I paid $11 for rice with sauce. DH's sweet and sour was fine and thankfully enough that I didn't go hungry. We won't bother again. read more

I had big hopes for this place but it's a big no for me! 2 stars cause they were friendly but the food was awful!

My boyfriend and I love Yum yum, we always get crab Rangoon's, lo mein, orange chicken, and sometimes dumplings. Everything is always amazing, hot, and tastes great. We love them! read more

Had to throw away the egg roll it was really greasy and over cooked. One is too much!

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Nothing I ordered was appetizing or even edible. I had to end up throwing all of it in the trash. Very poor quality food. When I picked up my food, I had to wait because everyone was too busy looking at their cell phones. The Interior of the restaurant was not very inviting or clean. I will not go back there. read more

This was my favorite Chinese in Mebane, and now that I've moved I miss it. Try the Lo Mein!

Best Chinese food since I have came to Mebane. It's perfect. Delicious Chinese food. I will travel a bit further to get yum yums from now on. Friendly and efficient service :) read more

Excellent mei fun! Generous portions and nice staff. Beef broccoli and steamed veggies excellent!

The food is always fresh and tasty. The give great portions and i'm never disappointed. And the lady who runs the restaurant is one of the sweetest ladies and she's always super kind with a grin under her mask . read more

Cheap cheap cheap! I got the sesame chicken lunch special and 12 crab ragoons for about $7. Yuck yuck yuck! You get what you pay for. I ate my fill and threw the rest away. There was more sauce than food. Even though nothing was tasty, my food was fresh and piping hot even when I got home. I happened to glance at the buffet. About 16 items, all appeared disgusting. Someone else walked in while I was waiting for my order and he turned around and left after looking the buffet over. I would have too. The lady that took my order was nice and it was out in about 5 minutes. Two stars for affordability and the attempt. read more

Horrible ... The oil is never changed, and the tables seem to be cleaned with dirty rags. The food made us ill ... we threw it all out. They should have more respect for the cuisine read more

Grubhubbed this earlier today, and it was great. Everything tasted fresh, and arrived quickly. Not sure if something has changed, but if you haven't tried them recently, I'd give them another shot. read more

Very good Chinese and its definitely a lot better than the other horrible excuses for Chinese food in Mebane.

Under new management!! I thought the food was good before but wow!!! What an improvement!!! Highly recommended!!! Best Chinese in Alamance County read more

Best Chinese in Alamance! We have tried so many places and our favorites have gone downhill. They are a great family owned business. Egg rolls are to die for. Large menu and have egg foo young. Would definitely recommend!!! read more

So, this isn't the most upscale Chinese place in the world. Especially if you eat in, it can be a bit unappealing. However, the food is the best in the entire town of Mebane. I have tried all the others and was not pleased with any. There is only one other that I will eat when Yum Yum's is closed (which they seem to be frequently and randomly closed for vacations and such). read more

I have been to yum yum twice and both times the wings i ordered were over cooked and salty. The first time i went there the man who came in after me got his food before i did and the second time i went there i called ahead waited about 10 minutes then went over and she started cooking my food after i got there and paid for the food. Why say on the menu call ahead and your food will be ready when you arrive that's it for me i won't be going back i hate the service there and i hate having to wait for food to cook when i called ahead two thumbs down read more

Typical Chinese take out place, for the most part-- but the egg rolls were AMAZING. They are so light and fluffy and delicious, and probably the best egg rolls I've had in a while. This place also offers absurdly cheap lunch specials, which I sadly did not arrive in time for. Prices are otherwise typical. It was a pretty decent dinner. read more

This is my favorite place for take out Chinese food. Yes the restaurant itself is a bit unappealing like others have said, but the food is great. It beats the other place hands down. read more
