We love this place, we actually love this place so much that we used them for our daughter's sweet 16 party for 100 people. I was a little nervous after the party began because we had almost 150 people show up for the party that we had planned food for 100. They delivered our food on time and we set it up buffet style. We not only had enough food but we had some leftovers to take home. Our menu consisted of orange chicken, broccoli beef, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, lo mein and egg rolls. It was so fresh and delicious when it arrived we were so happy with everything! I recommend this family fun business to everyone in the DFW area you won't be disappointed! Food is good, cheap and plentiful. Love the egg drop soup. Most of the food is your standard American-Chinese fast food which is slopped into a styrofoam container together. I have no problem with this as I have enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The standard meal is 3 entrees, rice and an eggroll for $5.99. Great deal, quick, and if you know what you want they have a drive thru. Food seems to be always fresh - if you go inside you can see them making it in the kitchen. Awesome food. They have 2 menus. A quick service pre made menu where you can pick rice or noodles and 3 meats. Very reasonable pricing. Then they also make traditional Chinese food. I love their soups and their fried rice. They will make custom orders too. The ladies there speak good English sometimes they might seem pushy but they just talk very fast. Wonderful family. I'm from New York, and a huge fan of Chinese food. I have also lived in 5 different states and have visited all 50 states. I very often try out various Chinese restaurants on my travels and compare them. I have to say since moving to Texas last September, I have not found one Chinese place to my liking thus far. Some were outright awful. With that said, Great Wall Express was decent. Not great by far, but decent - better than anything else I've had in Texas and that's saying a lot. One complaint I had which I really feel would make a huge difference is if the food was fresh. I called in and ordered a beef with broccoli combo (comes with fried rice and egg-roll). This is a typical combo I try at every Chinese place I visit, among some others. The lady told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. (Which is a little quick, but I though ok maybe they're slow). When I arrived they scooped it out of the buffet food sitting under the lights and put it in a to-go container. This is the FIRST TIME in my life I've experienced this at a Chinese take-out. It's ALWAYS made fresh. ALWAYS. This to me was a huge dissapointment, and it showed in the flavor. It still was better than some other local places I've tried that were served fresh, but it could be better. I didn't eat the egg-roll as it was soggy, little, and didn't look appetizing. One small bite proved I was right and I discarded it. Last but not least was the service I received. I know it's only a small Chinese take-out place on a Monday evening, but that doesn't mean you don't have to smile and greet your guests. The lady barely looked at me - not even sure she made eye contact and was very distant and acted as if I was invisible. Not a great first impression at all. Several places I've eaten in South Carolina they will smile EVERYTIME you walk in and greet you and thank you. This place - and the rest of Texas needs to take notes apparently. Final judgement - Ok taste, could be much better. Poor service. read more

My husband and I ate there because we took the wrong turn to get home and were hungry. The food was pretty decent. But I refuse to go there again. When the guy in the back was making the tempura chicken the ones that fell on the ground, he picked them all up and put it along with the others. I was pretty grossed out by it, but didn't want to cause a scene and tell my husband. So I acted as though nothing happened, especially since it was a family business. Very rude! I placed an order online and she called me to tell me our card was declined. I told her I would check on it and call her back because I don't know why it declined. She yelled... Yelled at me, "What? You have no money?! No cash or anything?" I told her she could go ahead and cancel my order and she hung up on me. I don't know about the people of this area, but the Chinese cuisine here is horrible. I always hope that with each time I try a new restaurant that I will find something similar to what I am accustomed to, the rice is horrible it has no vegetables nor any type of meat and I have yet to see any of the restaurants sell chicken wings and rice. The food has no flavor or at least their rice doesn't, the food is bland and plain. The best type of Chinese food is New York style which I have been a custom to for the most part of my life and the best place to get it is in Miami or New York. Let's just be clear about a few things. This is a drive-thru Chinese restaurant. They are providing fresh food that tastes pretty good. We've gone inside and seen them cutting fresh vegetables. We've tried a few different dishes and they were all pretty good. You can't beat fresh Chinese food handed to you through a window. Totally serious. I love them! They're right off the 183 highway on Euless main next to McDonald's and across from Burger King. For $5.99 you get either fried rice or lo mein plus THREE meats AND an eggroll!! Newly opened remodeled Great Wall Express - Very disappointed :( I went through the drive through (my 1st mistake) the board did not list all the items on the menu so it was a good thing I looked at the menu before I left the house. They repeated my order back correctly but when I got to the window apparently the newly opened staff did not know the menu items and we had to discuss each item so he understood what I wanted (even though I called everything exactly what the menu called it). I was told a price and I thought it was a little high but paid it. Then I was asked to pull up (even though the new parking lot it too small to park and wait) when they brought my order I was told they substituted one item for a more expensive version even though at the window I told them I did not want that one. SO I get home and the container holding the sauce was open and it spilled everywhere. Everything was very greasy, some items were undercooked while others were so hot they burned my mouth so it was all hard to eat in one way or another and the item I did not want was disappointing and I felt I might have liked what I originally ordered much better. On top of all that I was not given a receipt so I looked at the menu online again and they overcharged me by about $5.00. read more

Never Disappoints. I drove past this place for 6 months when I moved to the area because it looked run down. I actually used to laugh everytime I saw the sign outside that says "Drive Thur Open". BUT every time I drove by there was a full parking lot so one day I was in the mood for Chinese and gave it a try. The food is so good I go back 1-2 times a week or more. For $6.50 you choose either Fried Rice or Low Mein and three entrees and you also get a small egg roll. I have been going here for a year and a half and have NEVER had a bad experience. I am a General Tso's snob and Great Wall's is the BEST I have ever had hands down. I have also tried most of their other entrees and they are all good. I am just a huge fan of General Tso's so I usually just get rice and all General Tso's. Don't judge this book by it's cover. Try it out. read more

We have ordered delivery twice and both times were great. Overall food is very good for the price and our delivery driver is soooo friendly. We freeze the leftovers for another dinner and they re-heat well. Please tip your driver because his professionalism is outstanding. A+ for making me enjoy Chinese takeout again!
