It's exactly what I have been searching for: great Chinese fast food at a great price. The reason for the 5 stars is their Jalapeño chicken, now known as hot pepper chicken. It is everything you could ever hope for and more. My go to is the sub 10$ combo with steamed rice and all hot pepper chicken. The other options are good and their sides are what you expect. Service may be a little slow right now since I believe they underestimated the customer response to their reopening, so may not have had enough staff to handle the overload. We have been a fairly regular customer for a number of years. Unfortunately they have lost my trust. While in there last night 4 of 5 employees were not wearing masks. This place never lets me down. Some of the negative reviews on here are extremely petty. Great Wall Express is always consistent. I got there around 3:30pm. Hours after the lunch crowd, food was still fresh and delicious. You get a lot of food for your dollar. One plate can feed 3 people. read more

I stopped here because the line around Burger King wrapped around the building. I ordered the C2 special at the drive-through. When I got the food home, the rice was like oatmeal due to the juice of the entries. It didn't taste good either... like it had been sitting in a buffet all day or two. Tough, bland... I only ate maybe a third of it. I was turned off enough that I threw it away and cursed myself for wasting $8. The next day, the $hits were pretty nasty and they lasted all morning long. OMG terrible service, the girl couldn't leave her cell phone alone long enough to service food. Then I asked for spicy oil. The special was $7.99 , but I paid $9.30 yurns out they charge for the spicy oil. She didn't even inform me that there was a charge. Then i get home to eat the food, its terrible. The doesn't even look or taste like it was made by them. The looks and taste like an Uncle Ben's rice , asian flavor. I'll be feeding it to the dogs. I will not be going back. read more

If I could post a negative star I would. They served me burned chicken and called it crispy. Argued with me when I called to ask for a replacement. They had a screaming match with me just for me to only get SOME of my refund and no dinner for me tonight. Never again will I be a customer and I will make sure everyone I know hears about my experience. They told me "all day same chicken, no one complaint" I said "so same chicken all day? Best Chinese food Ive had in a long time. Its kind of like Panda Express where you choose rice or noodles and your 2,3 sides. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. Most importantly though the food is fantastic. I spoke to one of the employees and he said they had just moved their business from New York...and as most people know.. New York is well known to have great Chinese. So give this place a try you wont regret it. read more

This was our first time here. Over all great experience. We went the through the drive-thru and ordered 3 entrees. The C8, C11 and chicken fried rice. The portions are huge especially for what you pay. The only reason it's a 4 star and not a five star is because my sweet and sour chicken was missing the sweet and sour sauce. I had actually asked for extra sauce but got the opposite. I'll be more clear in the future. We will definitely be back!!! read more

Use to come here a lot for the portion they use to give for its price. But went in there today with some friends and we had already gotten our food. A family comes in and was waiting for fresh food to be made one of the food handler walks into the restroom (with gloves) minute or two passes and comes out. The father of the family was asked by food handler if he was ready the guy said u gonna change ur gloves the guy said I washed my hands. The guy said why u close the door if u just washing them. The food handler stormed off to the back ain't seen him the rest of the time I was there. Later my buddy told me the took out the trash when we were pulling up. Went here with a friend, wanting to try Chinese food in the area and we were both VERY pleased. The food was great, that style and cuisine you would expect with an experienced Chinese place. And the portions compared to pricing are VERY pleasant. They fill you up and you pay about the same price as fast food! Speaking of fast food, it appears that it's an old Taco Casa or Taco Bell building, so they still use the drive through which is convenient. I haven't used it, but in the event I'm just looking for a quick drive through I won't hesitate to use it. And if you don't know what you want, inside the food is set up like a buffet. They have the menu options above it for you to look over, but you can see exactly what you're getting and it all appears to be cooked fresh. Also as a note, be sure to try the crab macaroons. My friend got a batch, they're cheap, and SOOOO DELICIOUS. HEAVENLY. The only downside is that it's kinda hard to get in and out of this place, and it also looks...run down. They seem like a business that gets by okay, but I can't help but wonder if maybe they could polish the place up a little or renovate. Normally you would be nervous to try it without the positive reviews just by the looks of the place. I'd even wonder if they could make the menu look a little more professional or newer. read more

Usually, they get my order correct. The owner lady, doesn't do a good job in the drive thru. Thats all I've ever done since started going to this restaurant. You have to repeat several times what you want, then she still doesn't get the order right. I wanted a beef Lo Main spicy with two times the beef. I got everything but the little kick of spice. This has happened twice since I've been going there. Her son does an awesome job and gets my order right everytime. My food is good cause it's always cooked fresh. Now my husband his food varies. Sometimes the chicken to the sweet n sour chicken is fresh mostly I ask them to make sure the chicken is fresh. NOT from the line. read more

Finally found a good Asian food place near me! Really good food and I love that there is a drive thru.

The food is okay nothing super fancy but would make me come back. The reason why it gets two stars is because the service is awful. I've gone to this location about 3 times and the drive through person, the young man or older woman are always super short and rude. They look like they don't want to be there and are mad that you are there as well. Wish the customer service was better would be a 3.5 star if it was. read more

First timer. Placed my order for a C2 combo at the drive-thru then pulled around just in time to watch a lady at the window eating through the tinted window. She finally opened the window with her mask on her chin to take my card for payment. This was disturbing to me. When I drove the few blocks to get home, I opened the box to find the food was barely warm and the meat was in clumps. There was only 2 strips of beef in the broccoli. If I could give less than a star I would. Let me say first, I spent over $60 for my family. When I was trying to order the food through the drive through, it was hard to understand through the woman's accent. After asking her to repeat herself she started screaming, so instead we looked around and went inside to finish our order. To finish off our horrible experience I asked for some paper plates. After spending almost $70, she told me she was gonna charge me $3 for 5 plates and another dollar for extra sauces. It wasn't until I said out loud that my yelp review would reflect the horrible service that this woman who was probably the owner the entire time, tried to level with me on the plates. And by leveling, I mean she talked me down to 2 plates instead of 5. I don't expect much out of a Chinese takeout restaurant...not even exceptional service BUT this was so rude and borderline racist. I used their drive thru and there was no pricing on the items posted. I ordered and they had no Ice Tea. I pulled up and they took payment, waited for about 6 minutes then told to pull forward for my order. There is not much room and the driveway for incoming cars is right after the drive thru. I waited for 20 minutes!!! 3 people behind me passed me up and I had to continuously move forward because of their lack of room. I waved at them and nobody came out. I parked and walked inside and they all stared blankly at me when I raised my voice " what the hell is going on here?" My food was in a bag already and I was handed the bag with a paltry "Oh sorry". What an F'n joke this place was. I was late to work and the Broccoli Beef Egg Roll I ordered was horrible! Huge piece of deep fried dough and it had a SINGLE little piece of meat in it! We eat here monthly. You will get a lot of food for a small amount of money (always have leftovers for lunch the next day). Fresh food. My only complaint is the children of the owners are usually walking around (or serving the food). Really do not like seeing very yound teenagers (11-12) behind a counter or ringing up my credit card. read more
