I moved from Las Vegas where we have some amazing Asian restaurants and of course some not so good…read more I've yet to find a really good one here in Oklahoma. This was my first time here and it was okay , not bad. I would say one step up from Panda. I'm not trying to sound mean , but I may try again since I live in Mustang and not many choices in the area. This is definitely a family ran restaurant , not a chain. Two young kids sitting at the table behind the counter while their parents run the place. I got the Combination Plate with General Tso's Chicken , Fried Rice , an Egg Roll , and a can of Coke. Everything came out fresh and hot. The portion size was good , in fact I almost finished everything , but not quite. The flavor was just average unfortunately. It seems to be popular with takeout orders since a few people came in to pick up their orders and the phone rang a couple times while I was eating with orders. The dining area is only a couple tables with mismatched chairs and clean , but dated. One fish tank with huge fish of various species and colors. One fish tank with small fish and one empty. Behind the dining area is several boxes stacked high and maybe a restroom after that , but I didn't go there. The guy at the register was soft spoken and didn't say much when I ordered my food and I told him it was my first time there and no reaction or suggestions of specials or anything. Prices were reasonable.

Ordered meals for a robust two person dinner for home, because we just wanted to eat at home after a long busy day at work. Nothing fancy, just a comfort meal in bed while watching a Rom-com Movie and enjoying our beautiful dinner. I for one absolutely LOVE Curry Chicken over white rice. The recipe and portions are perfect. So anything you order should be a "Home Run" meal from Grand China! I grew up being able to eat The Original "Jackson Street" San Francisco China Town Center Chinese Food Restaurants. History: San Francisco China Town is the original destination for Millions of Chinese Immigrants who came to America directly from China to work on The Trans-Continental Railroad in the early 19th Century. If you ever watched Bruce Lee's Movies, he shows you a lot about SF China Town's history. Point being, SF China Town set the food quality benchmark ever since they arrived to provide labor for the railroads buildup across America in the early 19th Century. Grand China exceeds that SF China Town Benchmark and you won't be disappointed. Good Day

My boyfriend ordered the #2 which is garlic chicken, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, soup and egg roll. I ordered the #3 and mine came with the same but sub the beef and broccoli for chicken chow mein . The egg drop soup came out first. It's so rich and delicious. Lots of egg yolk. Then the sweet and sour chicken comes out. I probably would have been okay with just that, but then came the rice and last entrees with rice and the garlic chicken. The garlic chicken was good and crispy with a strong hint of garlic. The chicken chow mein was good, but it is piled on top of crispy chow mein noodles which were a bit soggy. The beef and broccoli was good but my boyfriend didn't care for it, so we switched. My favorite was the egg roll and sweet and sour chicken. We had two full boxes left over for lunch tomorrow.

The vibe is tired, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Their menu is grouped by offering and price. Lunch combination plates comes with a variety of set offerings. Lunch combination "A" ($10.95) comes with the Soup of the Day, an Egg Roll, Rice and crab ragoon. Then you select from another list of items such as sweet and sour pork to complte your order. We ordered from combination plate "B" ($11,95). It comes with soup of the day, rice, egg roll and fried shrimp. I then selected black peppered chicken. Jan went with brocoli beef and sweet and sour pork. It did take me a moment to figure out the menu. At first glance, the menu seemed convoluted and difficult. They offer combination plate "C" ($9.50) that is set with crab ragoon and rice. Then the lunch menu continues. We were both pleased. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. The dishes were tasteful, and the volume was more than adequate.
