We continue to stop here periodically- still the best Chinese food around. The almond sumgum chicken is my all time favorite.

The food is excellent, but they have raised their prices too high. That said you still get large portions.

It's hit or miss when it comes to the food. I've eaten her multiple time. It seems the food is going down hill.

My boyfriend and I were hungry so we stopped by here as my boyfriend got their combo fried rice…read morewhich he raved about, then my younger brother tried the leftovers and kept asking where he got it from. We stopped by around 1pm-ish on a Wednesday and we were greeted warmly then told to choose where we would like to sit. Once we sat down, we were presented with menus, utensils and waters. We were given ample time to look through the menu as they are an Asian fusion restaurant but definitely more Vietnamese heavy menu with banh mis, pho, bun bo hue, vermicelli noodles, and rice plates. But they do have phad thai, a kimchi salad, fried rices, Chinese dishes and lo meins as well. With recent chilly weather and always in the mood for bun bo hue, I went with that and an order of spring rolls with pork and shrimp while my boyfriend got their General Tso's Chicken with fried rice. The restaurant is bigger than it looks outside. Plenty of seating for all party sizes. They have condiments, chopsticks and soup spoons at the table. They were playing soft music that fit the mood. I love the cozy feeling that the place invokes, almost feels like you're in someone's living room. The service here was friendly from both the lady and man working. They would frequently fill our waters and check in on us. The lady even complimented my pronunciation and asked if I was Vietnamese. The food arrived not too long after the order. My spring rolls arrived warm but that just means they just made it and it was packed with the listed ingredients with a yummy peanut sauce. I was a bit disappointed that the bun bo hue didn't come with the usual toppings like pork's blood, hock and beef shank. I got meatballs, steak and brisket with my order and if I had known that I would have gotten a combo pho instead. She also did ask me which noodles I preferred and I missed the first option, and so I got it with pho noodles but it was nice to know you can have an option. However, the broth was flavorful and savory. My boyfriend's General Tso's was great: good crunch and plenty of meat with a delicious sauce. I definitely would love to try their other dishes.

pho in centralia? and it's actually delicious?!…read more the historic building is so cute, it was super clean and modern while the outside has the iconic sign. it was busy at 3PM which shows how good they are - and there was a ton of take out orders too. The owners work there and are so cute and sweet! I had the pho tai and to my delight they serve nuoc beo!!! (pronounced nook-bail, which is the skimmed pho fat with green onions soaked in it - SO GOOD AND ADDICTIVE. if a pho place does it i know the pho will be good.) the pho is more southern style - sweeter, darker broth. but so so good!! they give a GENEROUS amount of meat and noodles. the pho was so good i got it twice in one day, lol. my husband got the grilled chicken, level 3 spicy. and gosh was it spicy! they make their own chili oil and paste and you can definitely taste the unique twist on the chicken. it's so deliciously spicy, it hits your tongue then lingers. def recommend if you're a true spicy fan - otherwise stick to level 1/2. they warned him when we ordered the chicken lol. will be a regular spot for us now, and will tell all our friends.

First things first.... There is a sign that says, "watch your step" on the front door. That sign…read moreisn't just a suggestion. The entrance has a fairly steep ramp downward when you walk in. WATCH YOU STEP!!! OK, I had never been here before, but have been wanting to try it after seeing facebook ads. Lyle is not a place most people would end up in unless they happened to drive through on Hwy 14 on the Washington side. This is a small town with windsurfing and a highway going for it and I'm not sure how much else. BUT... if you happen to be going through and looking for a place to eat with some small town charm, you probably couldn't pick a better place in Lyle or anywhere nearby. The first thing you'll notice is an old lunch counter and some fixtures/appliances that probably were there since at least the 1950's and maybe even before WW2. Just guessing. This place is NOT a fancy place, but it is FULL of small town charm. It has multiple eating areas, two pool tables in the back and straddles American and Chinese decor in a most delightful way. A TV plays calming instrumental, meditation-type music that I absolutely LOVED! I was enchanted the moment I looked around. I already knew I was going to have a good and yet unique experience. I ordered a variety of items, which I included pictures of. The fried shrimp were excellent, the crab rangoons a 10/10 and the BBQ Pork had a somewhat unusual, but familiar homemade taste that I loved. The egg roll was the larger PNW type that I generally hate, but the filling was so good, I ate it all out of the crust. It tasted more like Indian Samosa, which I love! They had a variety of Asian food from Japanese Chicken Katsu, to Vietnamese Pho. There was quite a lot to explore on the menu. The Hot & Sour Soup was fairly potent and not very hearty as H&S soups tend to go. The Egg Flower Soup was preferred, though nothing special. Still, I enjoyed the kick of a strong H&S vinegar. The Pho was pretty darn good. It was totally legit and above average for Pho. For a small town like Lyle, it was definitely a 10/10. Even in a big city, it would have been considered good and probably above average. The Beef & Broccoli was of above average quality and had good flavor and was a VERY large portion. It could easily have fed most families of four all by itself. I wish I could have tried more menu items. Next time. I would definitely go again, though unsure when I have cause to go just for that. I might if my family is looking for something a bit different. The service was EXCELLENT! I really want to support what seems to be a mom & pop business. I only wish they had BBQ ribs. Then I would be back more often.
