Malls are a dying breed. But I still like to go to them on occasion. This mall is always kept clean. And the security keeps large groups at bay. I do highly recommend this mall. They have very few stores that are empty.

Recently came here to shop around since I was in the area. This mall is outstanding! It's very active and features a ton of great stores inside as well as its food court it's easy to find parking as well. Not all the stores here are name brand, there's plenty of off Brand stores as well. The store is modern, clean, it's got an amazing layout especially being for only a 1 floor mall. It's definitely easy to get lost because I know I did. It was very active as well for a weekday. At least over 90 percent occupied by tenants. Definitely a good mall to check out.

We decided to visit Great Northern mall for a change of pace. While we were there I went to the restroom. I was absolutely disgusted. The bathroom is super small, I felt claustrophobic as there was a lady with her baby, stroller and her little girl trying her best to manage (poor thing). She was trying to give me enough room to go into one of the two stalls. She had to change her babies diaper. While I used it all I can see was toilet paper thrown all around, "liquid" on the floor!! You know what I mean. The babies little ku's and cute noises kept me from losing it. Listening to the mommy talk to her baby kept me sane. As I walked out to wash my hands "wish I could go through a sanitizing mist" I let the lady know that the little girl needs to be careful with the floors that there are "liquids"! After that exciting brush with disgust, I went to GNC. They sell "Smart Sweets". Anyone watching sugars, it's a great candy. My favorite is the one that looks like Swedish fish. I'll need to do a separate review on them. The mall was very full which is a great sign. There is a police presence which is good. I didn't see store closings. Every store seems to be occupied. They have a Disney Store, theatre, Sears, etc. Other than they need to do a better job with bathroom.

It's a nice mall that has some good stores, especially Disney, which is not everywhere. Unfortunately, Covid hit them hard and many stores closed up.

I am impressed that this mall is starting to improve. I like how the products are staring to improve in the stores too.

Kinda like when when your Aunt Suzy says you, "Just have to meet my neighbor's daughter. I know she's 47 and still lives in her parent's basement, but you'll really hit it off because she likes 'The Netflix', too..." Well, China Renaissance is that place for me. After being told that I just had to give it a shot, I finally did. Well, the first time I tried they cancelled my uber eats order after an HOUR with little explanation. Minus one star. After I waited the customary 30 days for my anger to subside, I decided to give them a fresh start and ordered again. Based off of reviews, we went with Mongolian Beef and General Tso/Tao/Tsao's Chicken. Fun Fact: General Tso was a real person, and his family doesn't like the fact that an Americanized chicken dish is named after him, but I digress... I opted to add $3 "extra beef" to the Mongolian Beef order, because, well, I'm kind of a glutton. What arrived was a very tasty beef dish that unfortunately was mostly vegetables and without any trace of the "extra beef". It was almost as if my cardiologist intercepted the order and told the chef, "No, no, no... more veggies for Dan..." Tasty? Yes. Worth the $12 I paid for it? Not a chance. Minus one star. The General Tso's chicken was decent, and they obviously use a higher quality of chicken than most places do. There's just one major issue I have with that: I like my General Tso's to be the smaller chicken cuts of questionable origin that I've grown accustomed to. If I wanted huge pieces of chicken breasts in a barbecue-like sauce I'd just do it myself on a grill. Now, I know that General Tso's Chicken is like the chili of the Chinese food world: It's different at every place. Nonetheless, minus one star. Just like Aunt Suzy's recommendation, this was a letdown.

Even though it is cold we enjoy going in the winter to stroll the streets and see all the Christmas lights. They have a lot of unique stores. Plus the events that take place. There are lots of parking lots so we usually plan ahead to see what we want to visit and find a garage in that area.

My husband and I visited from Pittsburgh, and we stayed in the Hyatt Place hotel for two nights. During the days, we walked along the sidewalks to the stores and restaurants. I noticed that employees in some stores did not speak to me at all, but employees in other stores did greet me and make conversation. I especially enjoyed shopping in the Eddie Bauer and the World Market. My husband and I ate meals at several restaurants, including Another Broken Egg, Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Graeter's Ice Cream, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Pacific East, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Texas de Brazil, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here for a couple of days. I recommend this town center to local and non-local people.

They were out of tomatoes for my sub and ice for drinks. The lady behind me also ordered a footlong turkey breast sub, but she ordered fresh mozzarella on hers. After I paid and went to my gate, I checked my receipt and noticed I was charged almost 2 dollars ($1.66) for fresh mozzarella. The lady who ordered the fresh mozzarella sat next to me at the gate, and we determined that they got our orders mixed up somehow. I went back to the counter to request a refund of the cheese I didn't order. The lady behind the counter tells me, "I'm pretty sure you ordered mozzarella." Funny thing is, this lady didn't make my sub, she only rang me up, so how could she make this assumption? I told her I still had my sub, and she said they'd need to see it and proceeded to get the person authorized to process my refund. The next lady was rude AF, as if I was lying about my own order, and said she needed my food back for the refund. I explained that I just wanted a refund for the cheese I never ordered, but she said they have to refund all or nothing. When I put my sub on the counter, she snatched it and chucked it in the garbage, never verifying their error. This was by far the worst customer service I'd experienced in a long time. The fact that they were out of items, telling me what they are "pretty sure" I ordered, and the all around rudeness, I don't think I'll be back, and I travel through this area quite a bit.
