I was waiting to get my car windows tinted in the same plaza and decided to get a pedi to waste some time. I don't live near here so it was my first time. I walked in and they were pretty busy, but I told the man at the counter I wanted a pedi and I sat and waited. It was okay they were busy, it normally takes about an hour for a pedicure but it took 2 full hours this time but I am NOT complaining! It helped me out as I had nothing to do and no where to go. I had the tech named Tara who was wonderful, she was so meticulous in her work as I watched her and worried she hurt me as I have really bad leg jerks sometimes and I am ticklish. I came here for dip nails. I Appreciate that they can accommodate walk-ins. Turns out it's a Typical salon with the main focus on expediting the service over customer service and quality. The fellow didn't speak one word to me through the entire service. I tried to make a little conversation and nada... the only time he spoke to me was to tell me what to do with my hand or fingers. He nicked me several times during the process of using the drill in my nails. He moved me over to dry my nails as soon as another customer walked in. He nicked her so bad he broke skin and he struggles to stop the bleeding. He waved me off to leave and I needed him to clean up around my cuticles where he left color on them. He used a cuticle clipper to clip off the excess powder that had fused to my skin. I will not be come here again. read more

Ummm two nails broke after a refill there. In less than a week! Also if you're not careful, they'll leave you with uneven nails. I had to keep asking to correct them. I have always admired this place. Till my last visit. I was cut, burned by the shaving tool and the polish was not even or done all the way. And I paid 60 .... No thank you. I know not to get that specific lady. She is terrible and was rude to me . This was just a mess. I also didn't like how after I was cut and burned they laughed . No apologies or anything. Nothing. Absolutely 5 stars! I have been to Great Nail three times. I can honestly say, they make it a Great experience for a mom and pop nail salon. The hospitality is awesome. They are always courteous and polite. I called ahead the first time. The past two times was a walk-in. Each time, I am offered a beverage. There are three large screen televisions. They play music videos, not news. not talk shows, not soap operas which makes it pleasant. Their prices are reasonable. I have gone for a nail overlay and once for pedicure. read more

Despite being a very busy Saturday afternoon he took his time and sculpted each nail perfectly. They have a vast selection of nail colors and the designs they offer are almost unlimited. "great nail" ? as if ..! my fingers hurt so badly, my mothers hurt, and my best friends hurt even worse. we all went in for pedicure and manicures, i personally like my toes, and so does my best friend, my mother however, doesn't , it's inconsistent. ALL THREE OF US HOWEVER, HATED our nails and it was obvious we did. they avoided all of our cuticles like the plague, yet put cuticle oil on it, as if they did anything to our nails. i asked about fixing my nails and she completely just didn't , for all of us, it was 260 dollars, and all three of us want our nails off the moment we left. they made fun of my mothers nails that she painted, THEN painted her nails not even better than BEFORE. they gave a free drink, which made me hope it was good quickly for the money but it was not. read more

I went yesterday to get our toes done and this lady was doing my toes. she had cut me a little to deep and at that time I wasn't aware of how deep it was so I told her it was okay to keep her calm since she had looked up pretty worried. after leaving 30 minutes my toe was hurting much more by the end of the night I couldn't walk on my toe. this morning I checked it and puss was coming out of it. very sad an discomforting since I did take my 6 year old to get her toes done too. read more

We provide the best service in Texas. So come on in and see us !" I'd give zero stars if I could because my experience here was not as advertised. Usually whenever I go into a nail salon, I just mind my own business and browse my phone. I called and requested an appointment for a mani/pedi at 3:30 today. Immediately when I walked in, I did not have a good vibe. The person greeting me barely spoke English, and directed me to someone who could understand me better. Obviously there was a language barrier, since their native tongue appeared to be Vietnamese. Multiple times during the service my technician, who was an older lady, kept fussing in Vietnamese about other customers' appearances to the other technician sitting next to her. I ignored it and just kept to myself, even though I understood what she was saying in Vietnamese. Then when I was seated with another technician for my shellac manicure after my pedicure was finished, they asked me what color I wanted on my nails. I told them I wanted a lighter blue, but forgot what number it was. The older technician who did my pedicure came and brought the color that was on my toes, to which I told them politely that I wanted a different color. She ended up walking away in a huff while scoffing, but not before blurting in Vietnamese that I was crazy to her other coworkers. I bit my tongue while the technician doing my nails finished up my mani, so that I could calmly process how to address this to the owner of the salon without making a scene because it was packed. After I paid, I asked calmly in Vietnamese who was the owner of the business. Right away when I spoke in Vietnamese, the girl who rang me up looked like a deer in headlights because she probably didn't expect that I understood everything that they were saying while I was there. I told her and the owner, who was a guy with his hair tied back in a man-bun, in Vietnamese, that I did not appreciate being verbally abused when I came in to unwind and relax. The guy apologized and said that they were busy and that's why the older technician acted that way. I continued the conversation in Vietnamese because I did not want to disrupt the experience of the other customers, but calmly told him that that isn't an excuse to be rude since I've worked in customer service related jobs. They offered to bring the technician to apologize to me, but I refused because what was said had already been done. I told the owner that while I was sitting there I wasn't the only customer that was talked poorly about in Vietnamese in front of their faces, and that they should be mindful of what is said while customers are present. Instead of diffusing the situation, or finding another alternative to make their customer "happy," they just offered an insincere apology and said that they would talk to that specific technician, and seemed to excuse this type of treatment as okay because they were "busy." I think I wouldn't have posted this review if the owner would've had a sincere apology, and better response to his employees' rude behavior. I get that you're busy, and it's a Saturday. I understand that language barriers can be difficult to navigate, but I was patient with them throughout my service and that does not excuse that his employee was being rude, and had a bad attitude. They're lucky that a majority of people that come in don't understand what they're saying. Being "busy" is not a an acceptable excuse for the unprofessional behavior that was displayed today. I told them that I would not be coming back here and left. Long story short: Don't come here if you want to feel uncomfortable while someone is talking about you in front of your face behind the cowardice of their own language because they think that you don't understand them. Clearly, all of the employees at this establishment do not speak English fluently, and advertising yourself as the "best service in Texas" is a far reach from the experience that I received today. I did not walk out a "happy" customer, so maybe this place should brand themselves differently. read more

This website clearly states walk-ins are welcome, so going an hour before closing which is usually a sufficient amount of time for a simple pedicure, I figured this was fine. When I arrived, one technician scoffed loudly and another one rolled her eyes and shook her head. Very rude and unprofessional business I absolutely do not recommend. I prefer the nail shop or gloss nail 1000x better. However only one technician assisted us. I told him we were leaving and why and he apologized and said the tech was just grumpy and has had a long day, but I do believe there is no excuse for such childish behavior in front of so many customers. read more

Pedicure was way too much and nails didn't even come out shiny. The person who did my pedicure put something on my toes after i was done that made it completely matte. Nails were average price but didn't even come out good. The nail tech was rushing, the shape didn't even come out right. I asked for a certain pink color but they didn't have it so he brought me another one and said it would come out the same. It totally did not, it came out clear. I asked for diamonds a certain way and he kept trying to do it different, and then gave attitude when i told him i didn't like it. I don't recommend going here, i recommend SA Nails off 410 and Marbach. They do nails so much better and take their time and do them exactly how you want plus for a lower price. read more

I have been going here since last year around November. I always had a wonderful experience however my last three visits have been extremely awful I have long nails and I'm very picky about my nails after all I pay for them every visit my bill is at least $110.00 which I'm happy to pay if it's what I want. My first bad experience is when I was flat out told that I could not come on the weekends to do my nails cause they took to long for Vincent to do. I sorta chuckled and honestly thought okay I'll only come during the week after all I do want my nails done correctly and to my satisfaction I honestly believed it made sense, I also had a cracked nail I wanted replaced I was told it didn't need replaced he would fix it I asked repeatedly are you sure I don't want it to break he assured me it would not break guess what the next day it broke I had to drive 15 miles back to the salon and have my nail fixed I also felt that they were too thin and Vincent said they were not they were fine I wasn't happy but I accepted the response. On my second to the last visit I came in during the week in the afternoon they were not busy at all I was flat out told by my nail tech Vincent that he could not do what I was asking which made no sense the problem was he didn't want to take the time to remove the old powder from my nails I was extremely upset and asked him to just do a fill then he agreed however Vincent didn't do my nails the young lady did I thought it was cause he was leaving or something but NO he just sat in a pedicure chair and played on his phone needless to say I felt like no one in the salon that day my nails turned out okay. On my very last visit I was completely disgusted by everyone's behaviour except the older woman who always does my pedicures. First off my nails were uneven a younger woman completely messed up my eyebrow wax and when I pointed it out to her she had the nerve to promise me she did not do that I was like WHAT then who did it because there surely wasn't a bald spot before you did my wax. I just wanted to pay and leave I didn't say a word I just handed her my debit card after she gave me my receipt the woman who messed up my eyebrow wax pointed to the tip section I seriously laughed. Now let's be clear I always tip. My last 2 visits weren't tip worthy and I tipped anyway. But this time I damn sure wasn't going to tip and the fact that she pointed at my receipt with the tip section I for sure wasn't going to tip. Long story short they aren't the best in Texas they don't value ALL their customers and your just a $ sign to them. They don't go above and beyond for their customers. I had no intention of leaving this review but last night my daughter went there and her nails look like complete crap uneven awkwardly shaped and this mama had enough they had loyal customers however from this point on I will make it my mission to let people know of the bad service I've received and my daughter received by this establishment. read more
