As it is now spring and boating season is starting, I opened the box and went to install the new carpet. Out of a three piece set, two pieces fit, one does not. Obviously for a different year or model boat. The tag on it is stamped made in 2010. My boat is a 2017 model. Nowhere on the website does it state what year boat the carpet fits. Never again! Purchased a tach, installed in December however wasn't able to test for several months (winter time). Knowing Faria had a 3 year warranty while Great Lakes had 3 months didn't care about the 3 mo. warr. The second time I took the boat out the tach quit working so I call Faria and they asked me to look at the build date on the tach, I was surprised as the build date was 9 years ago therefore they would.t cover under warr. I wrote Great Lakes and they said sorry however they would give me a 20% discount on another, if Great Lake had told me before purchase it was old stock and would not be covered under Faria warranty I would not have purchased. On their webpage, it says "Buy with confidence". I would say to "Buy with caution"! I ordered a boat cover that was listed as an exact match for my Year/Make/Model boat. When I received, it did not fit as the cutout for the wake tower was completely off. I notified them immediately. The cover is obviously incorrect as it is the same part number of my current cover which was included with the boat when new. The resolution was I was able to return. However, I had to pay $36 for initial shipping, $41 to return ship and $44 for restocking fees. A total of $121 for a cover that was supposed to fit my boat and did not. I know they but these from the manufacturer and may not be their fault....but certainly not mine either. If you can find the part with another company, I would recommend that. read more

Then upon reordering, I ordered two STARBOARD parts, instead of starboard and port. Jake and Shawn have bent over backwards to solve all the problems, of which I mostly created. McKenna is an excellent customer service personnel at GLS. I've been a customer with the Great Lakes Skipper (GLS) for a while but never called their phone support. I was skeptical at first because most of my transactions were processed online. I recently went online to purchase a custom rod holder tower for my Boston Whaler Super Sport 150. After adding the item to the cart and checking out, I was unable to complete the online purchase. I quickly called the support phone and found out that the shipping costs were too high. I was about to cancel the order and started hopping onto another website. With McKenna's persistent, she would not take no for an answer. So she quickly went to her manager for me to make sure she does not lose a coming back customer (me). She was able to work with her manager and was able to find another alternative way to reduce the shipping costs for me. Since the shipping costs are fixed specifically for the bulky items and there aren't any rooms to really change it. With her manager's approval, she was able to give me $100 off from my purchase to offset the shipping costs. This is a WOW thing for me with her perseverance/persistence to keep me as a customer to spend my hard-earned money on GLS website/phone call instead of pushing customers away to other websites or competitors. This is truly a customer experience to me and it's hard to find nowadays. I definitely recommend others to patronize your hard-earned money to the Great Lakes Skipper. Very poor customer service. Order two off white bolster boat seats at a value of appoximately $700.00 plus an additional $200.00 in shipping. The seats arrived in a timely manner, they were packes very well but were clearly not the off white color as listed in the item description. The seat were a bright white. After contacting customer service and sending pictures of the seats showing the bright white color next to our off white boat interior the company was willing to allow us to return them for a decision on a possible refund or an instore credit but there would not allow any credit for shipping that had already been paid or to have the seat returned.
