I'm not sure what to say here that could be helpful. It looks like most folks have had better experiences than I have. In the last few months I've ordered a lunch sandwich from them, and also picked up a cinnamon roll in the morning. Neither occasion has left me glad that I went. My sandwich just wasn't that good, honestly. And the cinnamon roll wasn't either; it was kind of dry and didn't have enough cinnamon. I might pick up some bread to go if I needed a loaf or had an occasion, but I won't be returning for lunch or for a cinnamon roll.

Yardbird Yard Bird Salad

Great sandwiches. Love their breads, particularly the 9-grain. The Yardbird salad is very good, but I'm not a fan of the Green Goddess dressing which appears to have a good amount of raw garlic. I do like their cookies, but the scone on my recent order was dry and the raspberry frosting atop too sweet. It just wasn't a good combo. I think that was out of the norm based on the quality of the other baked goods I have sampled, which have all been excellent. From now on I'll stick with sandwiches, loaf breads, and cookies, or else salads that have different dressings. Service is always quick and efficient.

Sugar cookie taste off
Nycole R.

I recently participated in a sugar cookie taste off with six different bakeries, and Great Harvest was one of them. So my review is based solely on one cookie that I tried. I will update my review in the future when I come in to visit. The sugar cookie was Independence Day themed-star shaped, white frosting and red, white and blue sprinkles. The frosting was incredibly thick-to the point where our group was hesitant to try it. Too much of a good thing is, well, too much. The cookie itself was very dry and cakey. The consistency was definitely not what we had expected as a sugar cookie, it was more like a shaped cake. When we cut into it (to split among the group), it crumbled. The taste was also pretty dry-not sweet or sugar cookie-esq. I hate to be a downer, but this wasn't a good cookie. I'd like to visit and try some other menu items. My previous experiences with Great Harvest have been really good. Maybe today was just an off day.

Breakfast sandwich with all 3 meats

Been coming here for close to 8 years when an old company I used to work for was located in Draper. And shame on me for never Yelp'ing it! They started in Montana in the mid 1970's and one thing that is awesome about them are the wholesome ingredients they use that can be pronounced (chemical/preservative free). They have spread out almost all over the USA and glad they have quite a few locations in Utah. What I liked about this place are the freshly made sandwiches, and pastries. This time I noticed that they had breakfast sandwiches and was well pleased by that also. Ordered the all 3 meat option with the sundried tomato spread. So delicious! Can't say a single negative thing about this place after all of these years of buying from them. With each order purchased there is always a fresh free sample to try.

Wife's half sandwich. She didn't give me time to grab a pic before biting in like a ravenous shark.

Location was super clean. This place is not always the fastest, but your food will be fresh. Plenty to choose from for lunch with a varied menu. Should be something for anyone. You have the choice between half and whole sandwich's. I got the combo meal which gets you chips and a drink. Chip selection was limited today. While waiting make sure and check out all the breads and deserts. Lots to look at. My sandwich was delicious. Surprisingly a whole sandwich is a lot to eat in one sitting. I also had a peanut butter cookie. Chose the BBQ chips for my side. Staff was super nice and patient while we perused the menu for what to eat. They were restocking the drinks in the cooler while we waited. Food took no more than 10 minutes for them to have it ready. This is a great stop for lunch. All the toppings were fresh and local. Give them a try, they make a mean sandwich!

Turkey bacon ranch with no veggies.

I've never had any of the sandwiches from here, usually I go for the different loafs of bread, or the amazingly delicious pumpkin chocolate chip bread, but today I decided to try out their sandwiches. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch, on honey whole wheat. It comes with tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce as well but I asked for those off. The sandwich was good. Nothing that I'd probably crave, or come back for anytime soon, but it was good. After ordering they asked me if I wanted to try a sample and they had 5 or so different things to chose from i.e., bread, cookies, and dessert type bread. I chose to try the lemon poppyseed bread, and for a sample size, the size they gave was huge so that was really nice of them.

Lots of fresh baked yummy treats

Everyone needs to stop and treat themselves to a few items off the bakery shelf at Great Harvest every once in a while. I stopped in for a sandwich for dinner, but I left with a frozen pumpkin roll and a pan of cornbread. Both were great choices. The service at Great Harvest is always friendly and happy to help and answer any questions. I miss the carving board where they used to give free samples of fresh bread! But I understand it's on a hiatus for sanitary reasons during the pandemic. Consistently good food, yummy baked goods, and good service.

White Cinnamon Rolls, Cinnamon Burst Bread & Beehive White Bread.

Fresh & delicious! My favorites are the cinnamon burst, white and the sourdough bread. * They give a full slice of bread if you want to sample something before you decide what you want. These are awesome neighbor gifts! (Welcome to the neighborhood, Merry Christmas, etc)

Lemon Poppyseed Scone

Yum yum yum yum!!! We've been coming for years to this bakery and it's always delicious, every single time! I love that it's locally owned. The gift baskets are a genius idea and keeping it local is a bonus! The cinnamon bread as French toast is a favorite!

Sweet love of Raspberry Mini Cinnamon Rolls.
Granda M.

Have you had their Chocolate Chip Pumpkin bread, Valentines Day heart cookie, or their raspberry cinnamon rolls? Oh my it's all amazingly delicious! All I have to say is you are missing out if you have not tried anything in their store. The staff is as sweet as their tasty treats. Since all of their sandwiches, breads, etc are made with fresh ingredients and made daily you can taste all the goodness in every bite. My personal favorite is the raspberry cinnamon rolls because of the fresh berries and the cinnamon which are a rare and a great combination. Try it you will love it! Enjoy!

The food? Chef's kiss. The Breakfast Sandwich was hands-down the star of the table, with perfectly crispy hashbrowns and the most delightful, velvety hollandaise sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The mimosa flights were a blast (variety + flavor = win), and the interactive donut bar added such a playful, indulgent touch to the experience. A live DJ kept the energy up and made the whole brunch feel like a mini celebration rather than just a meal. If you're looking for a lively brunch spot with amazing food, great drinks, and an upbeat atmosphere, this place absolutely delivers. Can't wait to go back!

It took a long time for the server to come take our drink order, another long wait to get her to take our food order, and a really long wait for the food to be served. She didn't come back to check on us or refill our drinks. I flagged her down to get a drink refill and we sat around a long time waiting for her to give us our check and pay. The savory dishes here are really sweet, we got the birria hash and biscuits and gravy. We didn't like the dishes bc of the sweetness. I'm glad I didn't eat anymore bc we currently both have food poisoning. It was our first meal of the day and I know it was from here. Update: We went here yesterday after my dr appt in the area. Husband and I were sick all day yesterday w food poisoning. He had to go back to work after we ate here and was sick at work all day and I was sick at home. With a cast on. This place is dangerous.

I visited the location in Sandy, UT…read more Such a cute place. Loved the decor and the coffee/bar area. Food was great and the service excellent. I ordered the Truckers Breakfast with a cappuccino. Racist restaurant. If you are a person of color, do not go…read more My husband and I went there on Saturday morning with our two-year-old child and my 65-year-old parents. We did not have a reservation and arrived around 8:30 a.m. The staff told us we would have to wait two hours to be seated because we did not have a reservation. At that time, however, there were many empty tables inside the restaurant. I asked why we could not sit at one of the empty tables, and they said all of them were booked. I asked, "Are you sure? Every single empty table is booked?" They said yes. They told us to come back around 10:30 or wait nearby in case someone canceled and a table opened up earlier. I also asked if we could sit outside. They said the outdoor seating area was not open yet and would not open until 9:30. Because my young child was very hungry, I decided to wait. We were standing inside the restaurant, but the staff told us we had to wait outside. So we did. All of us stood outside, including my 65-year-old parents. After a while, I saw a white couple go inside. I clearly heard them say they did not have a reservation, but they were seated inside immediately. After waiting for an hour, we were finally seated outside at around 9:30. However, when we got outside , I noticed there were already customers sitting at tables and being served food. That means they have been seated for a while. I was very angry, but I did not want to ruin the day for my child and my parents, who did not fully understand what had happened. But we were definitely treated unfairly. we will never come back to this racist restaurant.
