I came here twice in 2025: once while pregnant, once after giving birth…read more I definitely had a better experience after my pregnancy than during it. During the fairy festival, my toddler and I stopped by. The only empty table was one of those standing-type tables with extremely high chairs. Putting my toddler on one of those chairs made me nervous, and I also didn't love sitting on something that felt so unstable (again--pregnant). I got a turkey sandwich and paid an extra dollar to have it heated up. I can't have cold meat when pregnant because of listeria. However, my sandwich was only heated to lukewarm, even though it was advertised as "hot" (and, again, I paid extra for the service). I returned to the counter and asked them to heat it again, explaining that it could jeopardize my health otherwise. The counter staff acted like I was extremely annoying and overall, it was a disappointing experience. The sandwich (still just kinda warm, not hot) was at least good, even though eating it made me feel nervous, and the mint brownie I also bought was delicious. I came again during Witch Fest, and even though the lines were longer, the service was better--but it could also be because I didn't have my sandwich heated that time. Overall, I'm unsure when or if I'll be back, but I definitely do recommend the food itself.

Excellent sandwiches!…read more One of the many businesses in Gardner Village, this is a nice stop, providing a quick bite or snack. It's not a cozy restaurant, but it is comfortable. The benches reminded my wife and me of some of the restaurant ambiance of the national park restaurants that we have been to, which is appropriate since the whole theme of the restaurant is about national parks. They have breads, pastries, pizza, sandwiches, hot cocoa, horchata, and coffees as well as soft drinks. We had sandwiches and my wife had hot horchata. The sandwiches were excellent. Both of our sandwiches had turkey in it and it was so tasty and fresh. Upon coming into the Happy Camper, I had one of their samples of whole wheat bread. It was about as good as my wife's homemade bread and was absolutely delicious, so that's what I had my sandwich on. Prices are about par for the course in today's inflationary pricing, around $10-$13 a sandwich. But it was worth it! I'll be back to buy a loaf of the bread. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

So I haven't personally been to Katz deli in NY. But a buddy of mine has and he said the pastrami…read moresandwich at this place is as close as you can get without going to NY. Wha I do know for sure, is this sandwich is top tier. It melts in your mouth. The bread. The meat. The mustard. Feldman's Deli has a good pastrami sandwich (in SLC if you haven't been you must) but this one wins in my opinion. It's just so good. The pizza is good, I don't know that I would rank it super high on my list of good pizza in Utah, but it's definitely decent. We got the garlic knots the first time we went and they were raw in the center. I'm sure they're good when fully cooked though. Inside is decorated all NY style with photos. I've been a couple of times and have sat inside and out. The patio is nice when the weather is just right for it. This is a counter service, order them go sit down and they'll call you when it's ready. You bus your own table when finished. All in all this place is amazing because of the pastrami sandwich. I don't know that I will get anything else but that when I go. I'll definitely be back to get it as much as I can. Wish this place wasn't so far from home.

My mom got the Philly sandwich and she wasn't the biggest fan. She said she liked the bread, but didn't like the flavor of the Philly steak. My daughter got a slice of pepperoni pizza and loved it. It was a nice big slice! I got the ziti Alla vodka. It was just okay. Nothing special, but the garlic knot that came with it was delicious! The service was nice and quick. We sat on the patio and they brought out each item as it was finished - which I liked because otherbwise it would've been a little cold if they waited for all of it. It's in a good location as well.

Huge. This "small" 8" is huge. Packed with lots of meat…read more The employees were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is comfortable. Pretty good sandwich. I had the American Wagyu Cheesesteak. It was pretty good. The bun was fresh. I think not as delicious as Moochie's, but it could be because it was American Wagyu. Just didn't enjoy the flavor as much as i did with Moochie's. Very worthy to spend your buck, though. Other offerings on the menu sounds great. Wow. This new Creamery has really upgraded the experience. Same great ice cream, but more workers mean the lines move faster. Same grill. Same grocery except it is larger and more a legit complete grocery store. Some departments are smaller than a regular grocery store, like the produce section, but still offers plenty. The outdoor patio seating is great. Heating lamps for cold days and they have misters installed for the hot days. Nice lights for evenings and nights. Parking is still a big challenge. More parking, but it is very narrow between the rows. I didn't park my truck there because of it. But parking is accessible at the Music School across the street for a very easy walk. At this visit I had the raspberry cream cheese--it was really good! And of course, I had to buy two bottles of Cookies and Cream milk to take home. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good.
