He taught me how to drive, owned over 100 cars, and loved driving more than anything, so I figured a car would be a great way to memorialize him. Matty was the artist to bring my idea to life. He designed a mid to late 60's mustang with florals and a silhouette of my grandpa in the driver's seat. I was in love with the design as soon as he unveiled it. Based on the placement I wanted the piece on my arm I had to lay down in an awkward position, but Matty worked quickly and tattooed delicately. I couldn't be any happier with the finished product! We arrived about 10min early to fill out all the official paperwork (left $100 deposit each Friday night to lock in the appt). Mercedes had my wife's drawing completely ready and they started almost as soon as she finished the paperwork. Cres had my drawing done and we spent a few minutes talking about color. This is my first color piece so he took the time to make sure I was completely happy with the choices. We were out of the shop in about 3hrs total. Shop was clean, music was great, and Mercedes and Cres were fantastic to work with. Initially, I was concerned that my tattoo didn't look exactly like my friends', and I asked Danny if he could take a look and possibly touch it up. Once the aftercare tape was removed, I could clearly see how great it actually looked. Danny took the time to walk me through everything, explained that he could slightly thicken the wing if I wanted, but was honest about his hesitation--he didn't want to risk affecting the healing or compromising the quality of the tattoo. He even consulted another tattoo artist, who agreed the tattoo was flawless. I truly appreciated Danny's honesty, professionalism, and willingness to put quality over simply making a change because it was requested. Although he was open to doing what I asked, I valued his expert opinion and trusted his judgment, especially since the tattoo was still so new. Danny does exceptional work and is incredibly skilled in fine-line tattooing. I'm very grateful for the time he took with me and for his integrity as an artist. My first tattoo was quoted at 650 dollars and as a heavily tattooed person I expected it to take one to two sessions. It ended up taking four sessions and over a thousand dollars. One of the sessions was never even booked so when I arrived for the third session my artist had no idea it was even happening. I gave the shop another chance for a simple line design, but the appointment started at 11 and when the artist showed up at the same time as me, we didn't start tattooing till 1.5 hours in and I left with only one boob done. I've now spent multiple days driving 5 hours total to this shop, waiting, healing, and now my tattoo that should have been done today is going to take three sessions total. The artist is personable, and I really like him and he's the only reason I was ever going to come back after the first situation but professionalism and respect for clients' time have been major issues and staff clearly could care less about peoples time or money. I personally wouldn't go here but if you feel so inclined id get the cost in writing and make sure that if the artist is slower that they don't charge you for that.

I had dozens of ideas in my head, all intertwined and making just too much noise to be able to explain what I saw in my head. It is stressful to me, nothing less. Billy saved the day. I've been lucky enough to know him for awhile now, but had only recently seriously approached him to work on a piece. He set aside time that worked for me to come into the shop and check the space out, and bounce some ideas off of him. He patiently waited while I spouted off an incoherent string of what I thought was nonsense, wordlessly picked up a piece of paper, and quietly sketched out the beginnings of what I wanted. He assured me he understood what I wanted, though i honestly have no idea how he thought so. I left and waited. A couple days later, he sent me a message with something that was ever-so-close to what I had in my mind. We went back and forth over a couple days and finally he sent me a finished product that blew me away. I couldn't believe it; he obviously had to have somehow mind-melded with me. We set an appointment for a few weeks later, and when I showed up, felt right at home. The anxiousness and nerves were still there of course, but I felt GOOD about what was going to happen. Their shop is impeccably clean, warm & inviting, and obviously a purely-professional spot. No mess laying around, no needles sitting out, no paint or ink spilled, nothing. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I was their first customer ever in that space. A few hours later, my piece was complete! I seriously cannot say anything else here; everything is a 5 outta 5, A+, multiple stars experience here.
