Nina not only walked me through all of the options with a pricing sheet in front of me, she helped me measure what size hoop would fit my conch best (an issue I've had for YEARS and never had solved which resulted in me never having jewelry in that piercing) and talked me through why certain jewelry wouldn't work well with my anatomy! She gave me time to look through all of the options and helped whenever I needed. I explained some issues I've had with buying crappy jewelry in the past and she didn't shame me about it, but instead offered advice on how to keep my piercings healthy while not using the greatest quality jewelry until i'm able to upgrade it to better stuff in the future. While the jewelry is expensive, the quality is amazing and the pieces are beautiful. If you're going to buy real gold pieces that are going to last, you'll have to know it's going to be a bit more pricey. Regardless of this, Nina never made me feel pressured to buy anything and made me feel so comfortable the entire process. She was patient with editing, resizing, and stenciling it multiple times until I was sure of the placement. I really wanted it on my foot but was worried about the pain. Meredith convinced me it would be fine, and unbelievably it did not hurt at all, owed to how good she is. It turned out way better than my expectations and I'm in love with it! The shading and lines are crisp but still have the hand-drawn effect I was looking for. I get so many compliments saying the artwork is amazing. Everything was completely sterilized, and we had a chance to checkout the placement of our marked piercings (my old piercer at a different shop didnt let me, so I appreciated that). The piercings were $50 each, including the titanium hypoallergenic jewlery. The piercer was super friendly, and gave us the proper care and cleaning instructions. Initially, I was concerned that my tattoo didn't look exactly like my friends', and I asked Danny if he could take a look and possibly touch it up. Once the aftercare tape was removed, I could clearly see how great it actually looked. Danny took the time to walk me through everything, explained that he could slightly thicken the wing if I wanted, but was honest about his hesitation--he didn't want to risk affecting the healing or compromising the quality of the tattoo. He even consulted another tattoo artist, who agreed the tattoo was flawless. I truly appreciated Danny's honesty, professionalism, and willingness to put quality over simply making a change because it was requested. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after several sessions here,I need to share my experience…read moresince reaching out to management wasn't helpful or even apologetic about any of my experiencs. My first tattoo was quoted at 650 dollars and as a heavily tattooed person I expected it to take one to two sessions. It ended up taking four sessions and over a thousand dollars. One of the sessions was never even booked so when I arrived for the third session my artist had no idea it was even happening. I gave the shop another chance for a simple line design, but the appointment started at 11 and when the artist showed up at the same time as me, we didn't start tattooing till 1.5 hours in and I left with only one boob done. I've now spent multiple days driving 5 hours total to this shop, waiting, healing, and now my tattoo that should have been done today is going to take three sessions total. The artist is personable, and I really like him and he's the only reason I was ever going to come back after the first situation but professionalism and respect for clients' time have been major issues and staff clearly could care less about peoples time or money. I personally wouldn't go here but if you feel so inclined id get the cost in writing and make sure that if the artist is slower that they don't charge you for that.
