Aram at Great Clips is amazing! My hair was feeling so heavy and looked completely uneven before I walked in. I wanted layering and movement but was terrified of losing too much length. Aram was so kind and really listened to my concerns. She gave me the perfect amount of movement without chopping all my hair off. This is honestly the best haircut I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back to see her! read more

Aram is my stylists and always does a great haircut for me. I highly recommend her and the other stylists too.

My daughter had her first time in the chair! The stylist was great with her and balanced my desire to not have her hair turn into a bob (keeping it as long as possible) but still giving it the cleanup it desperately needed. I appreciate the way Great Clips allows you to check in online prior to speed things up. The vibe in here is casual but clean and speedy. Great Clips is a good value too. read more

I have gone to this location 2 times, the first time was January had to go twice because the cut wasn't straight. Everything worked out!! I went yesterday and the girl Sophia did a little better then, she really tried. Like her!!! But had to go back today because right side was a little longer than the left, Stacey was trying to fix it but really F--- -- it up. I keep asking her to stop, I so mad I had to work out. read more

I've been to this location a few times and the cuts have always been decent. I just went today and got my haircut by a stylist that said she's been cutting hair for almost 11 years. Well I asked for a fade and ended up walking out with a bowl cut. Seriously no exaggeration one of the worst cuts I've ever gotten in my life. I will not be back. read more

Melody was my stylist today & she was amazing! Asked questions to make sure we were on the same page of cut & style & did a great job. I've rarely been asked follow up questions so it was nice to get that. I'll definitely ask for her when I go in again. read more

Online check-in is a must! Such a great tool, we were able to get on the waitlist and run errands while we waited for the "80 minute wait". All stylists were incredibly friendly, worked together so nice. It was great to see such awesome team work to get the long line down quickly and efficiently. The salon is really clean and nice. There is a screen that has the list with your name so you can see your place in line easily. You're greeted as soon as you walk in and they confirm your information. My girls and I all got different stylists and we loved every cut as well as the experience from the staff. Made us all feel so comfortable and cared for! We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends. As someone who has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry and owning multiple salons myself, I highly recommend this place for great affordable services. 10/10 across the board read more

We took my daughter into today and Melody was so patient. My daughter's hair was not brushed and she took her time and was very caring. Note: brush your child's hair before bringing them in or they will charge you (although she did not but totally should have). Melody was great and highly recommend her!!! read more

This is a great spot for a hair cut. Everyone is always polite and helpful and they always do a great job.

Excellent as always! Amanda did great work! The consistency is what keeps me coming back to this Great Clips, specifically.

I have been a long time customer of Great Clips, NY,FL,TX & now NC. Today I had Latoya cut my hair, she did a great job layering my curly hair. I am so glad I finally found someone who worked out the style I have always wanted. read more

I used the Great Clips app and checked in. I did not have a long wait. Melody, who greeted me, was busy cutting another person's hair. I asked for her- as she seemed pleasant, and it looked like she was being quite attentive to her client. I was told she was about to go on break, and it would be another half hour wait. I said O.K.. To my surprise, she asked me to come to her station and get my haircut before her break! That, was so cool of her to do. She cut my hair EXACTLY the way I asked her to. I will be going back again. Highly recommended! read more

The blonde stylist gave me a great cut today. Explained what I wanted at the beginning and she executed it perfectly!

They are open again finally since rebuilding after the car smashed into them. No wait on a Friday afternoon. Probably because not everyone is aware they'be re-opened. Stylist was great. Price is right. read more

Online check in is so in accurate, several times I've checked in and the "estimated waiting time is about 30-45 minute longer than the actual wait . Like today, checked in at 10am online said 45 minute wait, didn't get seen till 1130, 90 minutes later. Don't go off estimated wait times. read more

So I came here after always going to sports clips which I was never happy after a hair cut from there. Was skeptical at first because y'all post some negative feed back. Buuuuut I gave it a chance. I went in and Melody was my stylist. She did an amazing job. Went back for the second time and got her again. Once again I am very happy with the hair cut I got from her. read more

For your post-covid hair makeover, I highly suggest seeing Aubrey. I always give her artistic freedom with a few guidelines, and her instinct is 100% on point. It helps that her hair type is a twin of mine; very fine and harder to grow long. I bleach the living hell out of mine, but she always finds a way to give my hair some grace through the turmoil. I came to her first after a traumatizing incident with my longer locks and a hair dryer. With the olfactory recognition of burning hair setting in, I looked down (in horror) to see my bathroom sink filling with bits of ash, lazily raining down from what seemed to be a volcanic storm cloud around my head. Horrified, I had Aubrey salvage what she could. Did I think to try a sweet 'French bob', a much shorter cut than I had ever done, but cut and styled to fit my face shape and personality to correct the frayed ends? Nope. Only when she was finished did I see how her vision was right on, and my desperation to keep the same length and style was not as flattering considering the damage. I have continued to keep up a shorter style, and I find that it has truly suited me better. I checked in online about a half hour before the appointment, which allows you to be put on a list and view the anticipated wait time depending on volume. The timing worked out perfectly, and I waited for less than 5 minutes after arriving. A ladies haircut ran me $17, and Aubrey slayed it again with a cute cut to help my hair feel less like a tangled ball of string as it grows out a bit. So go treat yo self; give those sad Covid hairs a boost of confidence, and trust Aubrey to do it! read more

Got right in (weekday morning) quick efficient just what i like no complaints from me on this visit!

This review is to address the guy that works at this location 4/24/23. While waiting 45 minutes in the lobby today with my mom for her haircut, i observed the male stylist looking miserable and hating his job. I saw him roll his eyes at customers a couple times when they werent looking, raise his voice rudely at senior customers, become frustrated with almost everyone that walked in the door, and just flat out have an attitude the entire time. He had an awful demeanor with everyone in his chair, and also didnt talk at all. I wasnt the only person in the lobby staring at him, shocked at his behavior. Sorry but if you dont like people that much, dont work in customer service. I will not be returning to this store. I will be going somewhere that has nicer employees. read more

Veronica messed my hair up so bad. I never complain or cry about hair. Cause it does grow back. This time I couldn't help but do both. I sat in the chair asked for my hair to be thinned. No trimmed or cut. Just thinned. She said " so more layers" I said no just thinned. I should have just gotten up at that point. When I got home I saw how horrible it was. I went back and the assistant manger looked at it said oh my god I'm so sorry. Gave me money back and told me to come back in 4-6 weeks and she'll start fixing it. She was so nice and I appreciate how it was handled. But I can't get over how horrible my hair is now. She even told me how healthy my hair is. Well she just ruined it. read more

Worst haircut ever! Seriously exactly the opposite of what I told the dude with green hair to give my son! It's not that hard to keep it long on top because he has multiple cowlicks and do what I ask. It's not rocket science. This looks like a military crewcut! Not what we asked for! read more

Today my 18 month old got his first haircut. We saw Garrett and I would 1000X recommend him for your kiddos first haircut. He was so patient and did an amazing job for having to give a haircut to a kid who never stops moving. He was great!! The haircut is great. He even went and grabbed a rubber band to wrap up a small lock of hair for me. (I was so sad to cut off his long curls) read more

I just had a 2 hour wait.. I checked in at 1030 am and said 112 min. I saw it going down throughout the morning. I checked every 15 min. When it was 15 min away I got a message like normal. I left house and was here in 10 min.. my name wasn't on the list and salon lady was argumentative and confrontational. She said because others didn't show up on time that I was bumped up sooner but that I won't see that in the app. So even tho I showed up early when I got my text alert. She removed me cuz in the store list she bumped me up and I wasn't notified. I'm a loyal customer for years and she was going yo put me back at the bottom.. she tried to talk louder and over me in front of other customers.. very unprofessional..this store is next door to my house and IL never come back.. read more

I will admit it. I'm cheap when it comes to haircuts. I don't really see a need to pay 30 or 40 bucks just for someone to take a set of clippers to my hair and whack off the rest at finger length. So I go to great clips. Do I look like Brad Pitt or Taylor Lautner when I walk out? Of course not. But does it work until the next time I need my shearin done? Sure! The gal running the place currently seems to be nice, hard working and personable. No nonsense approach and gave me a great tip today. MONDAYS are horrible busy. Would I go back? Yep. Would I recommend to a friend? Sure. read more

This place is great for a quick average hair cut. If you are looking for something fancy, this is not the place. I bring my boys here and they do a good job. My little one is super wiggly, the girls are always super patient and friendly. Word of advice, use their app and check in on line. It makes the waiting process less painful. This place can gwt pretty busy. read more

Went in about an hour before closing, scheduled online. An older lady in glasses brought me up, 15 min after the site said they were ready for me. She seemed flustered and rushed. Didn't really listen to what I requested (asked for a low fade starting at a 0 at the bottom up to a 3 around the ears), she took it all the way up, like a to military cut). When I asked her to touch up an area she missed completely, she stayed giving me attitude. After that, she kept asking condescendingly "Is this good enough for you?!" "Are you happy now?!" For christ's sake... I just wanted an even haircut. She spent all of 10 minutes on me before rushing in the next poor sap. I'll be wearing a hat for a couple weeks, I suppose lol. read more

As I waited for my wife to finish her shopping at Smith's, I was parked directly in front of Great Clips, an elderly Customer from Smith's unloaded her groceries into the car next to me and as she was trying to figure out how to get her cart back on the sidewalk, an employee from Great Clips ran out and assisted her as she maneuvered through the tight parking spaces. I am bald, so I will not be visiting Great Clips, but I will direct everyone I can to go there just on that act of kindness alone! Good job young Lady! read more

Wow, is all I can say. First it's been a few days since I washed my hair, expecting an offer for a wash, nothing came. So my hair has always been oily and will always be, the lady offends me by saying you need to condition the ends not the roots. I didn't say anything because if I said something it would of not sounded nice. And she's cutting my hair. So she gets ready to cut my hair, I say I want a trim..... so I get a half assed trim, and a 10 minute hair cut. Mind you I have shoulder length thick hair. A good cut takes more time on me. She finishes and I still find a split end. The worst thing is the last clients hair was all over her work station and dirty clippers. I couldn't even put my purse down. Avoid at all cost not worth the cheap cut, I've had better luck at the beauty school. Never coming back again. read more

THE MANAGER, STACY, SUCKS. SHE'S INEXPERIENCED, SHE'S RUDE, SHE HAS NO IDEA WHATSOEVER WHAT "CUSTOMER RETENTION" MEANS, AND SHE SHOULD NOT BE IN MANAGEMENT. Sadly, the girl who cut my hair (Michelle, I believe?) was wonderful. Unfortunately, I am one of those customers who will NOT RETURN DUE TO BAD SERVICE, EVEN THOUGH THE HAIRCUT WAS EXCELLENT. Sorry, folks, it happens. I called ahead to be sure Michelle was working. She was. I walk in, ask for her, she's at lunch. I ask when will she be back. I'm told 1:15, but come back at 1:30 "to be safe". ?? To be safe of what, that she didn't get beamed up by aliens or kidnapped by ISIS?? If she is expected back at 1:15, then 1:15 it is. If she's late, then we deal with that at the time. As a manager, have "control" of your store, your staff! I tell Stacy the manager I need a solid time because I have subsequent appointments, so just give me a time, and I'll be back. Okay, 1:30 it is. Fine. (Good grief, Stacy, it's so simple...I did this for TWO hair salons for a loooong time when I was YOUNGER THAN YOU; not rocket science, girl!) But don't tell me 1:30 "just to be safe", and have me waiting because someone else "snuck in there before me".............BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED, AND THE LAME MGR STACY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW IT WENT WRONG OR HOW TO FIX IT. DERP. So I come back at 1:30, and I'll be damned, if I didn't open that door and Michelle was cutting someone else's hair!! I just stood at the door, looked at Stacy, and said, "No you didn't. I give up. I'm outta here." and I just left. I then called the store and asked for the store manager - she was the sunshine that answered the phone. When I told Stacy where the whole thing went wrong, and asked her WHY did she give Michelle another haircut when SHE KNEW I was coming back at 1:30 PER HER INSTRUCTIONS, she went into the standard diatribe of them being a walk-in facility, they try to accommodate the wait as best as possible, blah, blah, blah...ALL things that mean NOTHING to me since SHE told me to come back at 1:30 to get Michelle after her lunch! I tried to explain to the rock that in "theory" she was correct, however, when you TELL a customer to come back and you KNOW this customer is on a schedule, you don't then give the stylist another haircut, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE OTHER STYLISTS AVAILABLE, INCLUDING HER, THE MANAGER!! So after 10 minutes of a beating of my head on the wall trying to reason with a drunk (so to speak), I asked sunshine for the general managers phone number. She gave me Keri's name and phone number. I called Keri, she "got it", she totally handled it the way it should have been handled from the get-go, and she admitted sunshine girl Stacy was a "new manager". My advice? Stacy has no business in management because she doesn't even possess the BASIC problem solving skills it takes NOW, much less potential for the future. So, while Keri the GM listened and got it, it still will not bring be back as a customer. THEREFORE, GREAT CLIPS GETS ONE LOUSY STAR (but I would give the stylist Michelle 5 stars, let the record reflect that!) ONE STAR FOR IN-STORE LOUSY MANAGEMENT 3 stars for salon cleanliness; nothing to write home about; boring décor! 3 stars for location; but HORRIBLE parking, too busy of an area 5 stars for Keri, the GM, for MAKING AN EXCELLENT EFFORT TO RETAIN A CUSTOMER; I'm just not that easy to win back, sorry...too much competition in the marketplace, and I've already replaced them with SUPERCUTS (5 STARS!) SORRY, GREAT CLIPS; I GAVE YOU TWO CHANCES. YOU CAN FOOL ME ONCE, BUT NEVER, EVER TWICE. SHAME ON YOU, STACY. read more

Got a great haircut here yesterday! Quick. Friendly. And only $12 for a senior! Why pay more elsewhere?

I went for the 1st time today for a last minute haircut. I was excited to have a place so close to home. I called to make an appointment and was told to check in online... cool I guess since I've never been before and don't know the website. I show up no appointment no online check in and let's say less then welcoming this way. Moving on it's busy so ok I get it stress causes less than favorable customer service 20 min wait not bad I stay. I get my beautician she says my last name wrong and it's ok I smiled and said it and the response I received was a start to a bad relationship. I still continue I give what I'm looking for. I was told that in the future I can always get a consultation if I don't know for sure what I'm looking for ( I am looking for trim and soft layers and bangs to frame my face that I show with my hands) I'm uncomfortable now but my hairs in her hands she has scissors already cutting my hair, a minute goes by and she's having me tilt my head up down side to side no personality very little conversation and I feel anything I ask or say will be met with attitude. The end is coming and I explain my bangs and want and show with my hands she starts and by the end I received what I wanted with the correct terms " I'm not in the hair business" I don't know sorry I guess. In the end good haircut, lack of customer service and relationships building. Lesson learned I need to find a permanent salon. Sad part is I've been to similar places and never had this uncomfortable experience. Not coming back I wish I was due to convenance and location. read more
