From the moment I sat down, she was incredibly friendly and warm chatting with me in such a natural, easygoing way that made the whole experience feel relaxing and fun. The person who cut my hair with silver/grey hair with glasses was very rude from the moment I interacted with her. I struggle with androgenic alopecia and have had a really hard time adjusting to my hair loss. The first thing she brought up was how thin, dry, brittle my hair was and how I am not taking care of it without knowing my background. I had hesitated to leave a review because after a couple of not great haircuts I decided to wait and I'm thankful I did, I had to the amazing Dianna, she turned my view around abonar this location and I will for sure be back. It has a very similar look compared to my last delivery which I didn't know was 7 years ago. The vibe inside is different, I'm not sure if it's the manager or owners but after the pandy things kinda started to have a different feel. I and my son walked in last Saturday. First she told me i will cut according to notes on file tell me now because you cannot change later as i have to being timed for hair cut. You are WASTING MY time. What an attitude she has to customers. Why owner of this location is asking to time and especially on weekends having new hire. My son is only 5 year old. I went in for haircut and left with two eyes on the back of my head. I was greeted right away by someone who's name starts with D. Who was very welcome so I thought great customer service. D who cut my hair was doing a great job making sure everything was even, blow drying hair out of my face and etc. When he finished he showed me the back of my head like every other haircut place. To my surprise what I saw was comical, two uneven patches what look like eyes. I almost laughed. I asked him about it and instead of trying to fix it, which I would understood if he did fix it but he blamed it on the shape of my head. It was clearly a bad cut. I got a great haircut here right before Christmas. They keep notes on you so they know what you had before. So the woman today asks me the same question and I gave her the same answer. Long story short. The absolute worst haircut ever. For some reason she buzzed off half of my hair. It's 11 hours later and I'm not any less upset because it's going to take at least 2 months for me to even leave my house. I mentioned getting a wig to a friend. She thought it was funny. So, I've been going to this Great Clips for over 5 years now. They've generally been fairly good about their customer's service, until today that is. Long story short, I scheduled an appointment on the Great Clips app, and came in on the 29th of April for a haircut. I arrived at approximately 5:45pm-5:50pm. Mind you, the door entrance to Great Clips was open. When I went in, the hair stylist (like the previous Yelper pointed out), told me that they stop cutting hair 10 minutes prior, to clean the salon, and that they want to leave by 6pm, huh?! Ok, in that case, why is Great Clips advertising that they're open until 6pm, not 5:50pm? Either, A) Great Clips is falsely advertising they're operating hours, which doesn't make sense, as they're trying to maximize their profits during that time window... Or B) one of their employees(s) is systemically closing the store early to leave by 6pm (I say systemically, as a few Yelpers have pointed this out in previous reviews). If A is the case, then advertise that Great Clips closes at 5:50pm, and close/lock the doors at 5:50pm (light up Neon sign "CLOSED"). If it's B, which I have hunch it is (as it makes the most sense from a logical and business stand point), that particular employee needs to be terminated, immediately! And, I say "immediately", because this isn't the first time this has happened at this Great Clips, it's been pointed out by other Yelpers, and more than likely going to happen again. Which will lower your Yelp rating, and your business. To the new owners of the Placentia Great Clips, guys/gals, get it together... this is ridiculous! read more

They honored it by giving me a 3.00 credit for next visit since the cashier didn't remember I asked for it at the beginning. They don't take temperature when you go in but you do have to wear a mask.
