My preferred barber anywhere. I live in Riverside but have fam in Placentia so I make sure to get my hair cut whenever I come back. My girlfriend thinks it's ridiculous but I've had some pretty bad haircuts before and never from this place. Frank is super friendly and consistent. I moved up from San Diego a little over two years ago, and moved to Placentia a little over a year and a half ago. I've been going to Frank since that time. He is friendly, fast, and, for me, consistent. I don't have to say anything, and he cuts my hair the way I like. He is reasonable as well. And he is within walking distance of my home. Just got my hair cut here, LOVE it. Go for Frank if you can, he owns the place and he's a great guy. Described what I wanted for work "a real gentle men's cut" as Frank put it. He talks about normal stuff, very funny and nothing to make you uncomfortable like some places with no social abilities I've been to. It's just like you'd imagine a small neighborhood barber shop would be, very friendly and very high quality cuts and care for their clients. I just moved to this area and looked up a nice hair salon for my husband. We tried Chris Barber since there are a lot great reviews. I used to have to fix my husband's hair whenever we went to supercuts and his hair would be all over his face and shirt from the quick haircut. Just like the good reviews, the barber is amazing! After being taken out for lunch by my ex wife and kids, my ex suddenly pulled into the parking lot and stated that my son was going to get a haircut. Okay. No warning. The cool thing is though, is that when she stopped her car in front of this business, Frank came out to greet us. He said he could take my son now, no problem. While he was working on my son (nice haircut, by the way) we were entertained by his lovely wife who was very friendly. Frank was friendly as well, telling several funny stories - all the while giving my son the best looking haircut he's had. And, all of this for a very reasonable price. This is a great neighborhood barber shop. Frank and his wife have a real mom & pop operation here. I always walk in @ my leisure, & have never waited more than 5 minutes. He's pretty meticulous, and I've never gotten home to find uneven sides or anything that didn't look right. First time here. Did not have a good experience. Went in Saturday morning to get a cut. Cut was quick and sloppy. While checking at home I found a patch of uneven hair and neckline was uneven. Had to break out the clippers to fix myself. read more
