Called on a Saturday and the said come non in. 5 minute drive for me. Lily cut my hair. She's super nice. I have not had my hair cut in 13 years. I finally decided to cut it. In the distant past I had a horrible experience with a hair dresser so I I only cut my hair 1 time before this so.. I work close by here and see these ladies work... So I booked an appointment with Lili. She listened to what I wanted and did it perfectly! I have really thick hair and there's a lot of it but she just went about cutting and shaping and made my hair pretty again. I have difficult hair too so she checked on it a few days later and did some light trim on it and the lady Cindy French braided my hair! I was looking for a salon that was open and taking appointments on a Sunday. Found Expert cuts. The owner has been cutting hair for 41 years and her experience shows. While outside (as per regulations), she cuts hair in the shade to avoid the heat. She's very detail oriented and methodical which I think is what is typically missing in the chain stores like Supercuts. Better yet, she's a great conversationalist. My family have been to Experts Cuts for many years. It has always been a fantastic result, boys cuts, mens cuts, women cuts, color and style. All the hairdressers are very professional and have been there for a long time but are always very current on styles and product. Lili is the person I go to if she is available since I know her the longest, and I have never had a bad cut or an outcome I didn't ask for. She is truly genius when it comes to making the style work for you. She will also tell you if that style will not work for you, due to hair differences. She takes the time to do things right. Jennifer is awesome! She is truly an expert. I had a terrible haircut and was quiet upset about it but Jennifer made it so much better and transformed my ruined hair into a sophisticated one. The second time around I wanted to completely change my look and get a chic bob but had few uneven short layers but Jennifer made it happen and it looks so amazing. I am in love with my new hair cut. I got a really bad haircut, so bad I went to another place the same day to get it fixed. Jennifer cut my hair. I asked for long layers and brought in a picture. The haircut is $18 dollars but that is it, nothing else but a haircut. I would have appreciated it if the stylist had told me what $18 entailed because as she cut my hair she was only spritzing my hair with a bottle of water. I had to asked to get shampooed, which is an additional $2. Jennifer is nice and she seemed to be confident in what she was doing. She pulled my hair straight up and cut it at an angle, she even told me this would keep the length and give me the fuller layers that I wanted. As the haircut was done she left me with a head of wet hair. I had asked if I was going to get it blow-dry and that I didn't mind paying more. She muttered there was another customer waiting...at this point I'm a bit lost for words because I am a paying customer. So I ended up blow drying my own hair. To be honest from the front the haircut didn't look bad. I actually thought "OO this is nice." I couldn't see the back too well and figured it looked good as well. When I went home the first thing my brother told me was "what the hell happened to your hair, it's ugly." Apparently the back looked like a chop job, as if a section was missing in the middle and the layers didn't have a natural progression. The next hairstylist I went to asked me what happen, my hair was uneven and looked kind of like a mullet. I felt pretty sad because I had such nice long hair. Could I have gone back and demanded my money or another haircut? Who knows...probably, but I didn't want to deal with it. This is what I get for looking at the overall rating of a place and not doing research on the stylist. This will never happen again, I can't keep spending years growing out my hair only to have it ruined in the end. read more

I would never get my hair colored anywhere else!!!! I usually have the owner color my hair! I'm picky with my hair color... REAL picky! Prices are much more reasonable than other high-end salons. & although I think the decor isn't much to look at, the quality of the color job is def better than most places out there! I got so so so many compliments when I would color my hair here! Please be warned that you need to tell the stylists here exactly, and i mean exactly what you want! I went to Lili for a cut and color, also got a brow wax while I was there, and was out the door happy and all for less than $100.00 (with tips!)
