Absolutely terrible. He did the haircut in about 5 minutes, leaving my kid's hair with two completely different lengths on top, zero blend, and even the sideburns looked bad

I grew my hair really long during the pandemic for 11 months and was excited to get a haircut that I like base on a picture I got from the internet. I showed 2 pictures to the hairstylist, Melissa, and I decided to go with the one I like with long strands that I can comb over (see attached picture). Trusting that she knows what she can do and I have been using this location for many years now, I asked her to go ahead and cut my hair base on the picture. As we were about in the middle of the haircut, I ask Melissa to stop because I noticed she was cutting my hair too short and looks nothing compared to the picture. I was stunned when I inspected closely using a hand mirror. She did not follow what is in the picture! I felt really horrible that I can't undo now that my hair is too short. You can clearly see it in the picture my hair is too short and looks like a mop top. Now she tried to explain that the one in the picture is done by a barber and that there's difference between a barber and salon. My goodness! Why do I need to know between a barber and salon? Is Great Clips just a salon? You obviously are doing haircut like barber does! I obviously came here for a haircut and she should have known better. What a terrible answer to give to a customer. If they cannot do such haircut, why would they have hairstyling magazines and posters in their salon? If she is a professional hairstylist, she could have clearly warned me before she started using the razor and that she cannot do what is in the picture. This lady was so reckless, negligent and should not be in this business of haircutting because she is not clearly careful and unprofessional. Well, I ended up agreeing to complete my haircut and left miserable and regretful. Now I feel I don't want to leave the house without a cap on. Sigh! I wished I could have just kept my long hair than ending up living with this horrible haircut. Because of this terrible experience, I will not be coming back to this location and have called their main office for complaint.

Without clearly disclosing any additional cost, the stylist added a $41 "gloss" treatment. Total cost: $96. When we were at the register and saw that her bill had almost doubled, I asked what the extra charge was. The cashier said "haircut and gloss." I turned to my mom and asked, "Did you get a gloss?" (I didn't even know what that was.) She seemed unsure so the cashier went back and asked the stylist and confirmed the charge. The cashier offered no apology, no explanation, and no option to remove the charge. I spoke to my mom later and she told me that the stylist had asked, "Do you want your hair to look shiny?" and she answered yes, having no idea she was agreeing to a $41 add-on. Had she understood it cost extra, she would have declined. My mom has very short, fine senior hair that she washes every day. A $41 gloss is completely unnecessary and the way it was presented to a 93-year-old woman feels predatory. This is the second local salon that has done virtually the same thing to her (previous one turned a $25 cut into $50 with similar undisclosed add-ons). The haircut itself was fine, but targeting elderly clients with confusing, expensive extras they neither need nor fully consent to is unacceptable. They have permanently lost both of our business. Seniors and caregivers: ALWAYS ask for the total price upfront and specifically say "no extras or products." I'd hate for another elderly person to be taken advantage of the way my mom was.

My spouse and I have visited this nail spa multiple times for pedicures, and this was our fourth visit. During this visit, my spouse selected the basic pedicure package, which clearly included regular nail polish color -- not gel polish. However, when we went to pay, they suddenly charged us an extra $18 claiming that gel polish had been used. We calmly explained multiple times that only the standard/basic color was selected and no gel service was requested at all. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee who did the pedicure became extremely rude, started speaking aggressively in their own language, and accused us of lying. The male owner was also very dismissive and repeatedly insisted that we had used gel polish even after we explained the misunderstanding. Thankfully, the female owner acknowledged that the worker made a false accusation and agreed to refund the extra $18 charge. We appreciated that part, but the overall experience was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. Customers should be very cautious when visiting this place. Double-check every service before paying, and make sure you clearly confirm what is being applied during your appointment. Unfortunately, there also seems to be a significant communication/language barrier, which made resolving the issue even more frustrating. Very disappointed after being repeat customers.
