Beware of Great Clips March Madness $12.99 coupon details. I saw the coupon ad when I looked online to see what the wait time was for a haircut. After submitting my email information for the coupon and agreeing to get future email ads from Great Clips, I didn't get the coupon. I thought it would come in my email by the time I got to the salon two hours later. Nope! Then I read the fine print. The March Madness coupon can take up to 24 hours to show up in your email. When I asked at the Great Clips salon about the email coupon delay, I was told that the Great Clips Company didn't want people on their phones trying to look for their coupon while they were at the store.???? Sounds more like a ploy to get people into their stores only to have to turn around and come back a day later when their coupon finally shows up, or stay and pay full price. 1 star for Great Clips marketing scheme. read more

Unsure of the lady's name since there were two, one blonde and the other is the one I have an issue with. On my receipt it shows Patti she's always in black with curly hair every-time I see her. I came in for a quick haircut with layers after work , I had multiple reference photos. Which depicted longer hair, after asked multiple questions impolitely I referenced the bangs/layers, but she was still mentioning the length and how 'she doesn't know what to do' in a "smart tone" since it showed longer hair in the pic even after I've given her my answers... Usually it's a compliment when a stylist is quick but during this visit I didn't feel taken care of she managed to hit my scalp with her combs handles, snagging my piercings. Letting the cut hair purposefully fall, land and stay on my face. Afterwards she attempts kind customer service asking me what my job is (mind you I'm in my uniform still and other than the questions it's been dead quiet between us). Super impatient at checkout with her nail tapping after I clicked no tip due to my experience and past experiences with her. Sadly with my luck my card declined the first time (only 2 attempts were made 2nd being the last) so I had the displeasure of prolonging our encounter and was almost put in a another uncomfortable situation with my payment method between both parties mentioned above but the blonde lady helped out a second after the words left her own mouth :) read more

Had a short wait and then Marisa took me. I described the cut I wanted; she asked several questions to make sure she understood. Great clips sucks I hate it because sometimes you can get a really good haircut and other times the haircut would look so bad I came in to get a soft mullet haircut the last two times I came in I absolutely loved it and today I came in wanting the same haircut I showed the lady the haircut that I wanted and she messed up my hair so bad it is nothing like I wanted in the picture it is so short and it does not look anything like a soft mullet the only thing I'm able to do to hide my horrible haircut is with a hat and even with the hat on it looks like I have barely any hair I hate Great clips I do not recommend it go somewhere else read more

This location is closer to me so I decided to give it a try. First time at any Great Clips location and was not disappointed. I give all the credit for my positive experience to Magaly. She is very personable and efficient. Answered all my questions and even gave great suggestions. Listened to what I wanted for a cut and executed it in record time. I can understand why it was a ghost town when I walked in. From the moment I walked in I was met with nothing but condescension and attitude. I am admittedly not the most fancy person with my hair but they seemed to take personal offense to my desire for something simple that would work with my not great hair. I was repeatedly scoffed at, talked down to and met with either exasperation at the fact that I don't want to spend 20 minutes every day styling my hair or irritation at the fact that I wanted an actual cut and style and not just the dead ends trimmed off. I didn't even make it into the seat before I was fed up with the attitude of the woman who was going to cut my hair (although it seemed as though she was doing everything possible to avoid it). Even when I made attempts to lighten the mood, she would just stare at me and then huff and keep talking. I have worked in the service industry for most of my life and definitely dig having bad days and I make huge allowances because of that. I tried to ease the tension and make this a more pleasant experience because I do truly understand that it's not easy serving and helping people all day long, but this was just ridiculous. Only when I said I wasn't going to get my hair cut right then did the attitude shift, and suddenly it was nothing but positivity and can-do attitude. Funny, that's what I had been looking for from the beginning. It's a shame that they only want to help when they realize they'll be losing a sale. Frankly though, the sheer contempt the stylist seemed to unreasonably have for me would definitely deter me from allowing her anywhere near my head with sharp objects. I have filed a complaint with the justice department for discrimination. This was a great spur of the moment choice for a haircut for my oldest son. We checked in online and were able to skip a 20 minute wait. The interior is clean and well-lit and everyone welcomed us when we walked in. The hairdressers were hard at work and really keeping up a steady pace. My son was called by Emily. She asked him a couple questions and then gave him the best haircut he's had in years. She trimmed his side burns too. The best part was she went to a lot of trouble cleaning him up and went as far as to use her blow dryer to dust the hair off his shoes. He was impressed and so was I. I brought my 3 year old son here as a walk in. Kelly cut his hair and she was amazing! He usually fights and cries through a haircut, but with Kelly, he was all smiles and laughing. She introduced the trimmers to him in a playful way so he wouldn't be fearful, and made every part of it fun and entertaining for him. She also did a really great job on his little gentlemans cut. Cynthia is tremendous. Takes her time to make sure any customer is completely satisfied with their results of their hair cut. She is courteous, funny, and detailed. This review could easily be 5 stars. However, whoever the manager is for this location made it a point to rush her twice. The first time was her awkwardly staring into the mirror as my hair was being done eyeballing my hairdresser to hurry up. The second time she actually pulled her aside to try and hurry her once again. If you are worried about customers backing up on a busy day, consider hiring more hair stylists. I will always come back to this location as long as Cynthia works here.. but the manager should be aware that taking care of the customer at hand should always be the first priority. Horrible! Just plain horrible! My son and husband went for a quick hair cut as it was a Sunday and their usually barber was closed. My husband came back with an uneven neck line. I had to "clean it up"/fix it at home with his shaving machine. My son who got his hair cut by another lady, came back looking like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. The side burns, neck, and forehead were all uneven. The top of his head looked like she just randomly grabbed pieces of hair and snipped and then cut across the bangs for that Dumb and dumber look. I showed the girl a picture of the haircut I wanted. The girl insisted she would have to take 2" or more off my hair or it WILL NEVER EVER GROW, which by now, we all know that's a myth. I'm surprised hair stylists are still out here telling us that. I asked her to just leave the length of the longest layer as it was, and then work her way up. I didn't care if she had to take 5" off the other layers. She insisted she needed to cut off all the damaged hair or it JUST wouldn't work. I'm not an expert in the field, so I told her to go ahead. She did what she had suggested and still didn't achieve the look of the haircut I wanted in the first place. .....it didn't even come close .... not even a little... not even a resemblance of the haircut in the picture. A paying customer walks you have no one In here you will tell them no because you have a wait list that's not set in stone these people are even coming. While the stylists are friendly and the haircuts good for the price, the wait is insane, especially on Saturdays. This time I thought we got smart and used the check-in app, 93 minute wait. Left house an hour later (30 min estimated wait), arrived 15 min later, still a 31 min wait. Checked in, waited an hour before giving up-left with 8 people still ahead of us and no haircuts. I've had visited this location a few times, each time being negative. The stylists talk about clients after they leave, saying catty or snotty remarks, this has happened every time I've been there. They are very nice to your face but when you walk out they say belittling, rude, cliquish remarks. Our last visit experience: I usually take my school age daughter in with me, I attempted to show a picture of the hair style she has been wearing for years, the stylist glanced (not even a second) at the photo. After, I tried to explain exactly how I'd like the cut to be, she refused to give the picture a second look, regardless of me prompting to make sure the stylist and I were on the same page. She rolled her eyes and even held up her hand insistent she knew. I should of got my daughter out from the chair because of this stylist attitude from the very start. Instead I wasn't trying to make a scene and allowed the stylist to continue. After the cut, at the register, they rang up the haircut wrong, I wasn't sure if she caught the mistake so I asked politely about it before the transaction was complete, she gave a biting remark back and fixed the receipt. *We have always given a a generous tip for haircuts. We normally match or double the price of the cut as tip. This time (even though such RUDE service) was no different. After we left, I had to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes whilst my child cried about a hair cut she didn't like and her hurt feelings. This hair cut is the same one she has worn for YEARS, however because the stylist didn't really pay attention she ended up with a cut too short and "boy-ish" (daughter's words). I don't expect the "salon experience" since these places are more relaxed (nothing wrong with that). However, I do expect my child to feel pretty and confident about herself whilst being there. Her nor I felt that way. I've given this location WAY WAY too much leeway. Not only have we found some place more uplifting but they also appreciate our business. read more

I just recently decided to come to one of your salons to get my hair cut and donate my hair for wigs for kids . the first experience was awesome loved it my hair dresser Latashia she was so great and kind with me and my daughter. she also cut my daughters hair also. i will defiantly come back for her. I have a complaint , i did come back to the same salon and return some hair product the next day and the lady was nice at first I got my hair cut again because i didn't like the haircut as much and just wanted to modify it a little bit. then as i was sitting looking at my daughters hair i realized i didn't like my daughters hair cut and wanted some more cut off the bottom. I told her i thought a inch and she told me well I should cut off more because i don't want you coming back in a week or two saying you don't like it again and us having to cut it again. I was a little shocked she would say that to me i felt bad i did that but i realized that I'm the customer and why would she say that to me. I did tip her she wasn't very nice to me when my daughter got her hair cut , i was trying to help with keeping my daughters head still i guess she didn't like what i was doing and had someone else take over. i just went with the flow and didn't want to cause a scene . Her name was teresa she is a great hair dresser i just thought she was rude to me and my daughter. I am reluctant to come back to her but i will just have to see . Most likely i will just go to Latashia from now on and hopefully i won't have to deal with teresa again.
