I needed a haircut because of how long my hair was so I decided to go shorter so i had gone in and gotten it cut. It was going well until i had seen the back of my hair. My hair was EXTREMELY uneven. It was visible that they had messed up on my hair. The lady had somewhat fixed it after telling her to do so but it didn't end up straight. Now after getting my hair cut it has been so dry and frizzy. HANDS DOWN WORST HAIRCUT EVER. Never going back. read more

As someone in the customer service industry who deals with serving people, I totally get that there is a wait for professional services, especially when it comes to hair stylists. I don't mind waiting whatsoever. I manage a restaurant and know how it goes when it's busy as heck. But it sucks when I call to see if the hairstylist I want is in for a haircut, and I am told yes but it is a 45 minute wait for her. Sweet ! Ill check in online. Upon arriving it's Sunday so obviously it's busy and I'm aware I'm a little early and wait. Then after waiting about 20 more minutes I get called in for my turn and I request the hairstylist and I am told there are still 2 people in front of me and that she also needs to go on lunch. Like I don't mind that at all, all great things are worth waiting for in life. But I wasted all this time waiting initially to be told after the wait that she isn't even available for another couple hours probably so I would have to wait some more. Just lack of communication when I checked in is what caused this problem. I wish I was asked who I wanted to see, as I called an hour prior and asked for the wait for the specific hairstylist and checked in on the app. Or maybe have an option of who you want to be seen by on the Great Clips app could save a ton of time. I couldn't find such an option. read more

The woman cutting my hair literally said "uh oh" as she was cutting my hair. What more do I have to say? She wasn't capable of finding my part resulting in me looking like Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. Then I was so concerned about my part I didn't even notice that she just didn't bother showing me the back. She didn't shave all the way across. I had a rat tail on the back left side of my head. I mean she couldn't draw a straight line. On top of this she couldn't get my side burns even. Look I get it's cheap and I'm balling on a budget so I can't go to a good barber shop but please do not go here. If you trying to get a cheap cut I could do a 10x better job for $2 and a Big Mac. read more

When I went in today at your location I was approached by a girl name Katie who told me that I was not in the system even though I checked in on the APP. she said she couldn't find me but my name was in there but my daughters name was not still refused to take me, said it would take an additional 15 minutes. prior to that she said that there were people there on there lunch break and they would take them before they would take me I would have to wait an additional 15 minutes I then said the reason you have bad reviews is because of your customer service she said it is it is. Don't come here expecting to get a $60 hair style. It's a great place for an affordable cut. And TIP these stylists generously. Their rates are low so you have more money for a tip. If they do you right, then $5 for their time and expertise should be minimum, and if you really like your cut, consider more. So with my hubbys idea of cutting my hair I went back to Great Clips in Menifee. My hair Dresser I believe it's Deveron or the initials DS, She cut my hair two years ago and I loved it then. She layered and feathered my long hair and trimmed the bottom. I showed her two pictures of what I wanted and she did it perfect and fast, There online sign in is Awsome. I walked right in for my appointment. I couldn't remember her name but they still had me in their system and told me who I'd seen before, I'm so pleased with all their help. All I can say is WOW! I've been to many great clips and never had anyone go above and beyond until today when I checked in online and was greeted by Amie! She's a total sweetheart! I went in and asked for a zero and a beard trim. She made a recommendation on how to style my beard and it turned out amazing! She trimmed my beard, neckline, mustache and even my eye brows and blended it all together perfectly that my wife thinks my beard actually looks good now! She did a great job with the head shave taking her time to make sure it was perfect and then asked if she could rinse my head to ensure she got it all and that she got it all! All the other shops I've been to I feel rush to get on to the next customer but not this shop! This is my go to shop from now on and I will always ask for Aime! Good price, walk ins accepted. The only criticism I can offer is that unless you use the same stylist, the quality of cut is inconsistent. My last trim was more of a layered cut, while my past several cuts were what I wanted. read more

I hate this place so much . I came for a haircut and It came out so uneven when I left i was like it's okay it's not straightened but when I went over it with my straighter it's huge difference ! I think the girl who cut my hair was new . I never seen her before . Her hair is black and it's long and she has a mean personality . Please avoid this place . Normally I don't like the walk-in hair salons. I was desperate, so we tried it. Online check in was easy, they ran on-time, cuts were almost exactly right, quite impressed for the first time (my son has a complicated cut and walk-in places usually butcher it). Staff and stylists friendly, helpful, place very clean. Not putting 5 stars because I didnt use all their services, but what we experienced was great. I'll go back again! read more

Don't bother with their online appt. check in. Twice I tried and didn't get in when the site said I would. No apology, rude at the counter. She is answering the phone from a friend and says twenty minutes, which is exactly what she told me.... why do the online thing they never follow it. I've never been to a salon and them being so nice to me not just the stylist I got but every worker in general. My stylist took time to listen about my haircut did an excellent job. This is the best place to go for a haircut if you go to Breyanne for a haircut. I have been there several times and almost stopped going because of the unprofessionalism that I have seen in the past. However, Breyanne keeps me coming back as she is a breath of fresh air to this place. She is always positive, friendly and professional. She greets every customer that comes in the door and is always happy and cheerful. Since Breyanne has come to work for Great Clips, I have not gone anywhere else and have referred many of my friends to her. She is knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to her customers. Nice looking place, the online check in here is a JOKE. They don't even really use it, there is no monitor showing the next in line person like at every other great clips i've been too. If you do check in online, you still have to wait, they never call your name if you did check in online, unless you also check in when you get there, and you don't get priority if you checked in online. That slogan for the app of "we will be waiting on you", it doesn't apply to this place. read more

Ok, first off, the best person here is Christina (she gets 5 stars), but the place itself is ran poorly. Like one of the other reviewers, I used the online check in, which apparently means nothing at this location. The place was busy, they never greeted me when I walked in and a couple girls left. Since they don't have a screen showing the next person in line, I had no idea who was checked in and who wasn't (since they were so busy people had left to grab a bite to eat, so it was hard to tell). Well finally after an hour of waiting and the place died down they called my name, then one of the girls said "oh, hes not here", to which I replied that I am and have been for over an hour. She then tries to blame the wait on me for not letting them know that I was here, well I explained that they should have still called out my name. Needless to say instead of apologizing she was trying to pass it off as my fault, that was it, I just left. Not sure if I will come back. read more
